and thou hast given the money to Aaron, and to his sons, whereby those over and above are ransomed.’

and Moses gave the redemption money to Aaron and to his sons, according to Yahweh’s word, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

And Moses H4872 gave H5414 (QalImpf) the money H3701 of them that were redeemed H6302 (Qere) H6306 unto Aaron H175 and to his sons, H1121 according to the word H6310 of the Lord, H3068 as the Lord H3068 commanded H6680 (PielPerf) Moses. H4872

and Moses giveth the money of those ransomed to Aaron, and to his sons, according to the command of Jehovah, as Jehovah hath commanded Moses.

Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,

And the Lord H3068 spake H1696 (PielImpf) unto Moses H4872 and unto Aaron, H175 saying, H559 (QalInf)

And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, and unto Aaron, saying,

When the camp moves forward, Aaron shall go in with his sons; and they shall take down the veil of the screen, cover the ark of the Testimony with it,

And when the camp H4264 setteth forward, H5265 (QalInf) Aaron H175 shall come, H935 (QalPerf) and his sons, H1121 and they shall take down H3381 (HiphPerf) the covering H4539 vail, H6532 and cover H3680 (PielPerf) the ark H727 of testimony H5715 with it:

that Aaron and his sons have come in, in the journeying of the camp, and have taken down the vail of the hanging, and have covered with it the ark of the testimony;

“When Aaron and his sons have finished covering the sanctuary and all the furniture of the sanctuary, as the camp moves forward; after that, the sons of Kohath shall come to carry it; but they shall not touch the sanctuary, lest they die. The sons of Kohath shall carry these things belonging to the Tent of Meeting.

And when Aaron H175 and his sons H1121 have made an end H3615 (PielPerf) of covering H3680 (PielInf) the sanctuary, H6944 and all the vessels H3627 of the sanctuary, H6944 as the camp H4264 is to set forward; H5265 (QalInf) after H310 that, the sons H1121 of Kohath H6955 shall come H935 (QalImpf) to bear H5375 (QalInf) [it]: but they shall not touch H5060 (QalImpf) [any] holy thing, H6944 lest they die. ‘And Aaron hath finished-his sons also-covering the sanctuary, and all the vessels of the sanctuary, in the journeying of the camp, and afterwards do the sons of Kohath come in to bear it, and they do not come unto the holy thing, that they have died; these things are the burden of the sons of Kohath in the tent of meeting.

“The duty of Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest shall be the oil for the light, the sweet incense, the continual meal offering, and the anointing oil, the requirements of all the tabernacle, and of all that is in it, the sanctuary, and its furnishings.”

And to the office H6486 of Eleazar H499 the son H1121 of Aaron H175 the priest H3548 [pertaineth] the oil H8081 for the light, H3974 and the sweet H5561 incense, H7004 and the daily H8548 meat offering, H4503 and the anointing H4888 oil, H8081 [and] the oversight H6486 of all the tabernacle, H4908 and of all that therein [is], in the sanctuary, H6944 and in the vessels H3627 thereof.

‘And the oversight of Eleazar, son of Aaron the priest, is the oil of the lamp, and the spice-perfume, and the present of continuity, and the anointing oil, the oversight of all the tabernacle, and of all that is in it, in the sanctuary, and in its vessels.’

Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,

And the Lord H3068 spake H1696 (PielImpf) unto Moses H4872 and unto Aaron, H175 saying, H559 (QalInf)

And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,

but do this to them, that they may live, and not die, when they approach the most holy things: Aaron and his sons shall go in and appoint everyone to his service and to his burden;

But thus do H6213 (QalImpv) unto them, that they may live, H2421 (QalPerf) and not die, H4191 (QalImpf) when they approach H5066 (QalInf) unto the most H6944 holy things: H6944 Aaron H175 and his sons H1121 shall go in, H935 (QalImpf) and appoint H7760 (QalPerf) them every H376 one H376 to his service H5656 and to his burden: H4853

but this do to them, and they have lived, and do not die in their drawing nigh the holy of holies:-Aaron and his sons go in, and have set them, each man to his service, and unto his burden,

At the commandment of Aaron and his sons shall be all the service of the sons of the Gershonites, in all their burden and in all their service; and you shall appoint their duty to them in all their responsibilities.

‘By the command of Aaron and his sons is all the service of the sons of the Gershonite in all their burden, and in all their service; and ye have laid a charge on them concerning the charge of all their burden.

This is the service of the families of the sons of the Gershonites in the Tent of Meeting. Their duty shall be under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.

This [is] the service H5656 of the families H4940 of the sons H1121 of Gershon H1649 in the tabernacle H168 of the congregation: H4150 and their charge H4931 [shall be] under the hand H3027 of Ithamar H385 the son H1121 of Aaron H175 the priest. H3548

This is the service of the families of the sons of the Gershonite in the tent of meeting; and their charge is under the hand of Ithamar son of Aaron the priest.

This is the service of the families of the sons of Merari, according to all their service in the Tent of Meeting, under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.”

This [is] the service H5656 of the families H4940 of the sons H1121 of Merari, H4847 according to all their service, H5656 in the tabernacle H168 of the congregation, H4150 under the hand H3027 of Ithamar H385 the son H1121 of Aaron H175 the priest. H3548

‘This is the service of the families of the sons of Merari, for all their service, in the tent of meeting, by the hand of Ithamar son of Aaron the priest.’

Moses and Aaron and the princes of the congregation counted the sons of the Kohathites by their families, and by their fathers’ houses,

And Moses H4872 and Aaron H175 and the chief H5387 of the congregation H5712 numbered H6485 (QalImpf) the sons H1121 of the Kohathites H6956 after their families, H4940 and after the house H1004 of their fathers, H1

And Moses numbereth-Aaron also, and the princes of the company-the sons of the Kohathite, by their families, and by the house of their fathers,

These are those who were counted of the families of the Kohathites, all who served in the Tent of Meeting, whom Moses and Aaron counted according to the commandment of Yahweh by Moses.

These [were] they that were numbered H6485 (QalPasPtc) of the families H4940 of the Kohathites, H6956 all that might do service H5647 (QalActPtc) in the tabernacle H168 of the congregation, H4150 which Moses H4872 and Aaron H175 did number H6485 (QalPerf) according to the commandment H6310 of the Lord H3068 by the hand H3027 of Moses. These are those numbered of the families of the Kohathite, every one who is serving in the tent of meeting, whom Moses and Aaron numbered, by the command of Jehovah, by the hand of Moses.

These are those who were counted of the families of the sons of Gershon, all who served in the Tent of Meeting, whom Moses and Aaron counted according to the commandment of Yahweh.

These [are] they that were numbered H6485 (QalPasPtc) of the families H4940 of the sons H1121 of Gershon, H1648 of all that might do service H5647 (QalActPtc) in the tabernacle H168 of the congregation, H4150 whom Moses H4872 and Aaron H175 did number H6485 (QalPerf) according to the commandment H6310 of the Lord. These are those who were counted of the families of the sons of Merari, whom Moses and Aaron counted according to the commandment of Yahweh by Moses.

These are those numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, whom Moses and Aaron numbered, by the command of Jehovah, by the hand of Moses.

All those who were counted of the Levites whom Moses and Aaron and the princes of Israel counted, by their families and by their fathers’ houses,

All those that were numbered H6485 (QalPasPtc) of the Levites, H3881 whom Moses H4872 and Aaron H175 and the chief H5387 of Israel H3478 numbered, H6485 (QalPerf) after their families, H4940 and after the house H1004 of their fathers, H1

All those numbered, whom Moses numbered-Aaron also, and the princes of Israel-of the Levites, by their families, and by the house of their fathers,

“Speak to Aaron and to his sons, saying, ‘This is how you shall bless the children of Israel.’ You shall tell them,

“Speak to Aaron, and tell him, ‘When you light the lamps, the seven lamps shall give light in front of the lamp stand.’ ”

Aaron did so. He lit its lamps to light the area in front of the lamp stand, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

And Aaron H175 did H6213 (QalImpf) so; he lighted H5927 (HiphPerf) the lamps H5216 thereof over against H4136 H6440 the candlestick, H4501 as the Lord H3068 commanded H6680 (PielPerf) Moses. H4872

And Aaron doth so; over-against the face of the candlestick he hath caused its lights to go up, as Jehovah hath commanded Moses.

and Aaron shall offer the Levites before Yahweh for a wave offering on the behalf of the children of Israel, that it may be theirs to do the service of Yahweh.

And Aaron H175 shall offer H5130 (HiphPerf) the Levites H3881 before H6440 the Lord H3068 [for] an offering H8573 of the children H1121 of Israel, H3478 that they may execute H5647 (QalInf) the service H5656 of the Lord. H3068

and Aaron hath waved the Levites-a wave-offering before Jehovah, from the sons of Israel, and they have been-for doing the service of Jehovah.

You shall set the Levites before Aaron and before his sons, and offer them as a wave offering to Yahweh.

And thou shalt set H5975 (HiphPerf) the Levites H3881 before H6440 Aaron, H175 and before H6440 his sons, H1121 and offer H5130 (HiphPerf) them [for] an offering H8573 unto the Lord. H3068

and thou hast caused the Levites to stand before Aaron, and before his sons, and hast waved them-a wave-offering to Jehovah;

I have given the Levites as a gift to Aaron and to his sons from among the children of Israel, to do the service of the children of Israel in the Tent of Meeting, and to make atonement for the children of Israel, so that there will be no plague among the children of Israel when the children of Israel come near to the sanctuary.”

And I have given H5414 (QalImpf) the Levites H3881 [as] a gift H5414 (QalPasPtc) to Aaron H175 and to his sons H1121 from among H8432 the children H1121 of Israel, H3478 to do H5647 (QalInf) the service H5656 of the children H1121 of Israel H3478 in the tabernacle H168 of the congregation, H4150 and to make an atonement H3722 (PielInf) for the children H1121 of Israel: H3478 that there be no plague H5063 among the children H1121 of Israel, H3478 when the children H1121 of Israel H3478 come nigh H5066 (QalInf) unto the sanctuary. H6944

‘And I give the Levites gifts to Aaron and to his sons, from the midst of the sons of Israel, to do the service of the sons of Israel in the tent of meeting, and to make atonement for the sons of Israel, and there is no plague among the sons of Israel in the sons of Israel’s drawing nigh unto the sanctuary.’

Moses, and Aaron, and all the congregation of the children of Israel did so to the Levites. According to all that Yahweh commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so the children of Israel did to them.

And Moses, H4872 and Aaron, H175 and all the congregation H5712 of the children H1121 of Israel, H3478 did H6213 (QalImpf) to the Levites H3881 according unto all that the Lord H3068 commanded H6680 (PielPerf) Moses H4872 concerning the Levites, H3881 so did H6213 (QalPerf) the children H1121 of Israel H3478 unto them.

And Moses doth-Aaron also, and all the company of the sons of Israel-to the Levites according to all that Jehovah hath commanded Moses concerning the Levites; so have the sons of Israel done to them.

The Levites purified themselves from sin, and they washed their clothes; and Aaron offered them for a wave offering before Yahweh and Aaron made atonement for them to cleanse them.

And the Levites H3881 were purified, H2398 (HithImpf) and they washed H3526 (PielImpf) their clothes; H899 and Aaron H175 offered H5130 (HiphImpf) them [as] an offering H8573 before H6440 the Lord; H3068 and Aaron H175 made an atonement H3722 (PielImpf) for them to cleanse H2891 (PielInf) them.

And the Levites cleanse themselves, and wash their garments, and Aaron waveth them a wave-offering before Jehovah, and Aaron maketh atonement for them to cleanse them,

After that, the Levites went in to do their service in the Tent of Meeting before Aaron and before his sons: as Yahweh had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so they did to them.

And after H310 that went H935 (QalPerf) the Levites H3881 in to do H5647 (QalInf) their service H5656 in the tabernacle H168 of the congregation H4150 before H6440 Aaron, H175 and before H6440 his sons: H1121 as the Lord H3068 had commanded H6680 (PielPerf) Moses H4872 concerning the Levites, H3881 so did H6213 (QalPerf) they unto them.

and afterwards have the Levites gone in to do their service in the tent of meeting, before Aaron and before his sons; as Jehovah hath commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so they have done to them.

There were certain men who were unclean because of the dead body of a man, so that they could not keep the Passover on that day, and they came before Moses and Aaron on that day.

And there were certain men, H582 who were defiled H2931 by the dead body H5315 of a man, H120 that they could H3201 (QalPerf) not keep H6213 (QalInf) the passover H6453 on that day: H3117 and they came H7126 (QalImpf) before H6440 Moses H4872 and before H6440 Aaron H175 on that day: H3117

And there are men who have been defiled by the body of a man, and they have not been able to prepare the passover on that day, and they come near before Moses, and before Aaron, on that day,

“The sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow the trumpets. This shall be to you for a statute forever throughout your generations.

And the sons H1121 of Aaron, H175 the priests, H3548 shall blow H8628 (QalImpf) with the trumpets; H2689 and they shall be to you for an ordinance H2708 for ever H5769 throughout your generations. H1755

and sons of Aaron, the priests, blow with the trumpets; and they have been to you for a statute age-during to your generations.

Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the Cushite woman whom he had married; for he had married a Cushite woman.

And Miriam H4813 and Aaron H175 spake H1696 (PielImpf) against Moses H4872 because of H182 the Ethiopian H3571 woman H802 whom he had married: H3947 (QalPerf) for he had married H3947 (QalPerf) an Ethiopian H3571 woman. H802

And Miriam speaketh-Aaron also-against Moses concerning the circumstance of the Cushite woman whom he had taken: for a Cushite woman he had taken;

Yahweh spoke suddenly to Moses, to Aaron, and to Miriam, “You three come out to the Tent of Meeting!” The three of them came out.

And Jehovah saith suddenly unto Moses, and unto Aaron, and unto Miriam, ‘Come out ye three unto the tent of meeting;’ and they three come out.

Yahweh came down in a pillar of cloud, and stood at the door of the Tent, and called Aaron and Miriam; and they both came forward.

The cloud departed from over the Tent; and behold, Miriam was leprous, as white as snow. Aaron looked at Miriam, and behold, she was leprous.

and the cloud hath turned aside from off the tent, and lo, Miriam is leprous as snow; and Aaron turneth unto Miriam, and lo, leprous!

Aaron said to Moses, “Oh, my lord, please don’t count this sin against us, in which we have done foolishly, and in which we have sinned.

And Aaron saith unto Moses, ‘O, my lord, I pray thee, lay not upon us sin in which we have been foolish, and in which we have sinned;

They went and came to Moses, to Aaron, and to all the congregation of the children of Israel, to the wilderness of Paran, to Kadesh; and brought back word to them and to all the congregation. They showed them the fruit of the land.

And they go and come in unto Moses, and unto Aaron, and unto all the company of the sons of Israel, unto the wilderness of Paran, to Kadesh; and they bring them and all the company back word, and shew them the fruit of the land.

All the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron. The whole congregation said to them, “We wish that we had died in the land of Egypt, or that we had died in this wilderness!

And all the children H1121 of Israel H3478 murmured H3885 (NiphImpf) against Moses H4872 and against Aaron: H175 and the whole congregation H5712 said H559 (QalImpf) unto them, Would God H3863 that we had died H4191 (QalPerf) in the land H776 of Egypt! and all the sons of Israel murmur against Moses, and against Aaron, and all the company say unto them, ‘O that we had died in the land of Egypt, or in this wilderness, O that we had died!

Then Moses and Aaron fell on their faces before all the assembly of the congregation of the children of Israel.

Then Moses H4872 and Aaron H175 fell H5307 (QalImpf) on their faces H6440 before H6440 all the assembly H6951 of the congregation H5712 of the children H1121 of Israel. H3478

And Moses falleth-Aaron also-on their faces, before all the assembly of the company of the sons of Israel.

Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,

And the Lord H3068 spake H1696 (PielImpf) unto Moses H4872 and unto Aaron, H175 saying, H559 (QalInf)

And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, and unto Aaron, saying,

Those who found him gathering sticks brought him to Moses and Aaron, and to all the congregation.

They assembled themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said to them, “You take too much on yourself, since all the congregation are holy, everyone of them, and Yahweh is among them! Why do you lift yourselves up above Yahweh’s assembly?”

and they are assembled against Moses and against Aaron, and say unto them, ‘Enough of you! for all the company-all of them are holy, and in their midst is Jehovah; and wherefore do ye lift yourselves up above the assembly of Jehovah?’

Therefore you and all your company have gathered together against Yahweh! What is Aaron that you complain against him?”

For which cause H3651 [both] thou and all thy company H5712 [are] gathered together H3259 (NiphPtc) against the Lord: H3068 and what [is] Aaron, H175 that ye murmur H3885 (HiphImpf) (Qere) H3885 (NiphImpf) against him?

Therefore, thou and all thy company who are met are against Jehovah; and Aaron, what is he, that ye murmur against him?’

Moses said to Korah, “You and all your company go before Yahweh, you, and they, and Aaron, tomorrow.

And Moses H4872 said H559 (QalImpf) unto Korah, H7141 Be thou and all thy company H5712 before H6440 the Lord, H3068 thou, and they, and Aaron, H175 to morrow: H4279

And Moses saith unto Korah, ‘Thou and all thy company, be ye before Jehovah, thou, and they, and Aaron, to-morrow;

Each man take his censer and put incense on it, and each man bring before Yahweh his censer, two hundred fifty censers; you also, and Aaron, each with his censer.”

They each took his censer, and put fire in it, and laid incense on it, and stood at the door of the Tent of Meeting with Moses and Aaron.

And they take each his censer, and put on them fire, and lay on them perfume, and they stand at the opening of the tent of meeting, with Moses and Aaron.

Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,

And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,

“Speak to Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest, that he take up the censers out of the burning, and scatter the fire away from the camp; for they are holy,

‘Say unto Eleazar son of Aaron the priest, and he lifteth up the censers from the midst of the burning, and the fire scatter thou yonder, for they have been hallowed,

to be a memorial to the children of Israel, to the end that no stranger who isn’t of the offspring of Aaron, would come near to burn incense before Yahweh, that he not be as Korah and as his company; as Yahweh spoke to him by Moses.

a memorial to the sons of Israel, so that a stranger who is not of the seed of Aaron doth not draw near to make a perfume before Jehovah, and is not as Korah, and as his company,-as Jehovah hath spoken by the hand of Moses to him.

But on the next day all the congregation of the children of Israel complained against Moses and against Aaron, saying, “You have killed Yahweh’s people!”

But on the morrow H4283 all the congregation H5712 of the children H1121 of Israel H3478 murmured H3885 (NiphImpf) against Moses H4872 and against Aaron, H175 saying, H559 (QalInf) Ye have killed H4191 (HiphPerf) the people H5971 of the Lord. H3068

And all the company of the sons of Israel murmur, on the morrow, against Moses and against Aaron, saying, ‘Ye-ye have put to death the people of Jehovah.’

When the congregation was assembled against Moses and against Aaron, they looked toward the Tent of Meeting. Behold, the cloud covered it, and Yahweh’s glory appeared.

And it came to pass, when the congregation H5712 was gathered H6950 (NiphInf) against Moses H4872 and against Aaron, H175 that they looked H6437 (QalImpf) toward the tabernacle H168 of the congregation: H4150 and, behold, the cloud H6051 covered H3680 (PielPerf) it, and the glory H3519 of the Lord H3068 appeared. And it cometh to pass, in the company being assembled against Moses and against Aaron, that they turn towards the tent of meeting, and lo, the cloud hath covered it, and the honour of Jehovah is seen;

Moses and Aaron came to the front of the Tent of Meeting.

and Moses cometh-Aaron also-unto the front of the tent of meeting.

Moses said to Aaron, “Take your censer, put fire from the altar in it, lay incense on it, carry it quickly to the congregation, and make atonement for them; for wrath has gone out from Yahweh! The plague has begun.”

and Moses saith unto Aaron, ‘Take the censer, and put on it fire from off the altar, and place perfume, and go, hasten unto the company, and make atonement for them, for the wrath hath gone out from the presence of Jehovah-the plague hath begun.’
