I saw the Lord standing beside the altar, and he said, “Strike the tops of the pillars, that the thresholds may shake. Break them in pieces on the head of all of them. I will kill the last of them with the sword. Not one of them will flee away. Not one of them will escape.

Yahweh of Armies will defend them. They will destroy and overcome with sling stones. They will drink, and roar as through wine. They will be filled like bowls, like the corners of the altar.

κυριος παντοκρατωρ υπερασπιει αυτων και καταναλωσουσιν αυτους και καταχωσουσιν αυτους εν λιθοις σφενδονης και εκπιονται αυτους ως οινον και πλησουσιν ως φιαλας θυσιαστηριον

In that day there will be inscribed on the bells of the horses, “HOLY TO YAHWEH”; and the pots in Yahweh’s house will be like the bowls before the altar.

You offer polluted bread on my altar. You say, ‘How have we polluted you?’ In that you say, ‘Yahweh’s table is contemptible.’

“Oh that there were one among you who would shut the doors, that you might not kindle fire on my altar in vain! I have no pleasure in you,” says Yahweh of Armies, “neither will I accept an offering at your hand.

διοτι και εν υμιν συγκλεισθησονται θυραι και ουκ αναψετε το θυσιαστηριον μου δωρεαν ουκ εστιν μου θελημα εν υμιν λεγει κυριος παντοκρατωρ και θυσιαν ου προσδεξομαι εκ των χειρων υμων

“This again you do: you cover Yahweh’s altar with tears, with weeping, and with sighing, because he doesn’t regard the offering any more, neither receives it with good will at your hand.
