“Moreover you shall speak to the Levites, and tell them, ‘When you take of the children of Israel the tithe which I have given you from them for your inheritance, then you shall offer up a wave offering of it for Yahweh, a tithe of the tithe.

For we will not inherit with them on the other side of the Jordan and beyond, because our inheritance has come to us on this side of the Jordan eastward.”

We will pass over armed before Yahweh into the land of Canaan, and the possession of our inheritance shall remain with us beyond the Jordan.”

ημεις διαβησομεθα ενωπλισμενοι εναντι κυριου εις γην χανααν και δωσετε την κατασχεσιν ημιν εν τω περαν του ιορδανου

You shall inherit the land by lot according to your families; to the larger groups you shall give a larger inheritance, and to the smaller you shall give a smaller inheritance. Wherever the lot falls to any man, that shall be his. You shall inherit according to the tribes of your fathers.

If they are married to any of the sons of the other tribes of the children of Israel, then their inheritance will be taken away from the inheritance of our fathers, and will be added to the inheritance of the tribe to which they shall belong. So it will be taken away from the lot of our inheritance.

And if they be married H802 to any H259 of the sons H1121 of the other tribes H7626 of the children H1121 of Israel, H3478 then shall their inheritance H5159 be taken H1639 (NiphPerf) from the inheritance H5159 of our fathers, H1 and shall be put H3254 (NiphPerf) to the inheritance H5159 of the tribe H4294 whereunto they are received: so shall it be taken H1639 (NiphImpf) from the lot H1486 of our inheritance. When the jubilee of the children of Israel comes, then their inheritance will be added to the inheritance of the tribe to which they shall belong. So their inheritance will be taken away from the inheritance of the tribe of our fathers.”

And when the jubile H3104 of the children H1121 of Israel H3478 shall be, then shall their inheritance H5159 be put H3254 (NiphPerf) unto the inheritance H5159 of the tribe H4294 whereunto they are received: so shall their inheritance H5159 be taken away H1639 (NiphImpf) from the inheritance H5159 of the tribe H4294 of our fathers. So shall no inheritance of the children of Israel move from tribe to tribe; for the children of Israel shall all keep the inheritance of the tribe of his fathers.

So shall not the inheritance H5159 of the children H1121 of Israel H3478 remove H5437 (NiphImpf) from tribe H4294 to tribe: H4294 for every one H376 of the children H1121 of Israel H3478 shall keep H1692 (QalImpf) himself^§ to the inheritance H5159 of the tribe H4294 of his fathers. H1

και ουχι περιστραφησεται κληρονομια τοις υιοις ισραηλ απο φυλης επι φυλην οτι εκαστος εν τη κληρονομια της φυλης της πατριας αυτου προσκολληθησονται οι υιοι ισραηλ

Every daughter who possesses an inheritance in any tribe of the children of Israel shall be wife to one of the family of the tribe of her father, that the children of Israel may each possess the inheritance of his fathers.

And every daughter, H1323 that possesseth H3423 (QalActPtc) an inheritance H5159 in any tribe H4294 of the children H1121 of Israel, H3478 shall be wife H802 unto one H259 of the family H4940 of the tribe H4294 of her father, H1 that the children H1121 of Israel H3478 may enjoy H3423 (QalImpf) every man H376 the inheritance H5159 of his fathers. So shall no inheritance move from one tribe to another tribe; for the tribes of the children of Israel shall each keep his own inheritance.’”

They were married into the families of the sons of Manasseh the son of Joseph. Their inheritance remained in the tribe of the family of their father.

και κυριος εθυμωθη μοι περι των λεγομενων υφ υμων και ωμοσεν ινα μη διαβω τον ιορδανην τουτον και ινα μη εισελθω εις την γην ην κυριος ο θεος διδωσιν σοι εν κληρω

to drive out nations from before you greater and mightier than you, to bring you in, to give you their land for an inheritance, as it is today.

και ελευσεται ο λευιτης οτι ουκ εστιν αυτω μερις ουδε κληρος μετα σου και ο προσηλυτος και ο ορφανος και η χηρα η εν ταις πολεσιν σου και φαγονται και εμπλησθησονται ινα ευλογηση σε κυριος ο θεος σου εν πασιν τοις εργοις οις εαν ποιης

However there will be no poor with you (for Yahweh will surely bless you in the land which Yahweh your God gives you for an inheritance to possess)

They shall have no inheritance among their brothers. Yahweh is their inheritance, as he has spoken to them.

This is so that innocent blood will not be shed in the middle of your land which Yahweh your God gives you for an inheritance, leaving blood guilt on you.

και ουκ εκχυθησεται αιμα αναιτιον εν τη γη σου η κυριος ο θεος σου διδωσιν σοι εν κληρω και ουκ εσται εν σοι αιματι ενοχος

You shall not remove your neighbor’s landmark, which they of old time have set, in your inheritance which you shall inherit, in the land that Yahweh your God gives you to possess.
