He shall bring them to the priest, who shall first offer the one which is for the sin offering. He shall wring off its head from its neck, but shall not sever it completely.

και οισει αυτα προς τον ιερεα και προσαξει ο ιερευς το περι της αμαρτιας προτερον και αποκνισει ο ιερευς την κεφαλην αυτου απο του σφονδυλου και ου διελει

or any thing about which he has sworn falsely: he shall restore it in full, and shall add a fifth part more to it. He shall return it to him to whom it belongs in the day of his being found guilty.

^[5:24] απο παντος πραγματος ου ωμοσεν περι αυτου αδικως και αποτεισει αυτο το κεφαλαιον και το πεμπτον προσθησει επ αυτο τινος εστιν αυτω αποδωσει η ημερα ελεγχθη

He set the turban on his head. He set the golden plate, the holy crown, on the front of the turban, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

He cut the ram into its pieces; and Moses burned the head, and the pieces, and the fat.

“If the leprosy breaks out all over the skin, and the leprosy covers all the skin of the infected person from his head even to his feet, as far as it appears to the priest,

εαν δε εξανθουσα εξανθηση η λεπρα εν τω δερματι και καλυψη η λεπρα παν το δερμα της αφης απο κεφαλης εως ποδων καθ ολην την ορασιν του ιερεως

“When a man or woman has a plague on the head or on the beard,

και ανδρι και γυναικι εαν γενηται εν αυτοις αφη λεπρας εν τη κεφαλη η εν τω πωγωνι

then the priest shall examine the plague; and behold, if its appearance is deeper than the skin, and the hair in it is yellow and thin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean. It is an itch. It is leprosy of the head or of the beard.

“If a man’s hair has fallen from his head, he is bald. He is clean.

And the man H376 H3588 whose hair is fallen H4803 (NiphImpf) off his head, H7218 he [is] bald; H7142 [yet is] he clean. H2889

εαν δε τινι μαδηση η κεφαλη αυτου φαλακρος εστιν καθαρος εστιν

If his hair has fallen off from the front part of his head, he is forehead bald. He is clean.

And he that hath his hair fallen H4803 (NiphImpf) off from the part H6285 of his head H7218 toward his face, H6440 he [is] forehead bald: H1371 [yet is] he clean. H2889

he is a leprous man. He is unclean. The priest shall surely pronounce him unclean. His plague is on his head.

ανθρωπος λεπρος εστιν μιανσει μιανει αυτον ο ιερευς εν τη κεφαλη αυτου η αφη αυτου

“The leper in whom the plague is shall wear torn clothes, and the hair of his head shall hang loose. He shall cover his upper lip, and shall cry, ‘Unclean! Unclean!’

It shall be on the seventh day, that he shall shave all his hair off his head and his beard and his eyebrows. He shall shave off all his hair. He shall wash his clothes, and he shall bathe his body in water. Then he shall be clean.

και εσται τη ημερα τη εβδομη ξυρηθησεται πασαν την τριχα αυτου την κεφαλην αυτου και τον πωγωνα και τας οφρυας και πασαν την τριχα αυτου ξυρηθησεται και πλυνει τα ιματια και λουσεται το σωμα αυτου υδατι και καθαρος εσται

The rest of the oil that is in the priest’s hand he shall put on the head of him who is to be cleansed, and the priest shall make atonement for him before Yahweh.

And the remnant H3498 (NiphPtc) of the oil H8081 that [is] in the priest’s H3548 hand H3709 he shall pour H5414 (QalImpf) upon the head H7218 of him that is to be cleansed: H2891 (HithPtc) and the priest H3548 shall make an atonement H3722 (PielPerf) for him before H6440 the Lord. H3068

ου ποιησετε σισοην εκ της κομης της κεφαλης υμων ουδε φθερειτε την οψιν του πωγωνος υμων

“ ‘They shall not shave their heads or shave off the corners of their beards or make any cuttings in their flesh.

λαβετε αρχην πασης συναγωγης υιων ισραηλ κατα συγγενειας αυτων κατ οικους πατριων αυτων κατα αριθμον εξ ονοματος αυτων κατα κεφαλην αυτων πας αρσην

With you there shall be a man of every tribe, each one head of his fathers’ house.

And with you there shall be a man H376 of every H376 tribe; H4294 every one H376 head H7218 of the house H1004 of his fathers. H1

These are those who were called of the congregation, the princes^§ of the tribes of their fathers; they were the heads of the thousands of Israel.

“ ‘All the days of his vow of separation no razor shall come on his head, until the days are fulfilled in which he separates himself to Yahweh. He shall be holy. He shall let the locks of the hair of his head grow long.

He shall not make himself unclean for his father, or for his mother, for his brother, or for his sister, when they die, because his separation to God^§ is on his head.

“Also in the day of your gladness, and in your set feasts, and in the beginnings of your months, you shall blow the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; and they shall be to you for a memorial before your God. I am Yahweh your God.”

και εν ταις ημεραις της ευφροσυνης υμων και εν ταις εορταις υμων και εν ταις νουμηνιαις υμων σαλπιειτε ταις σαλπιγξιν επι τοις ολοκαυτωμασιν και επι ταις θυσιαις των σωτηριων υμων και εσται υμιν αναμνησις εναντι του θεου υμων εγω κυριος ο θεος υμων

Moses sent them from the wilderness of Paran according to the commandment of Yahweh. All of them were men who were heads of the children of Israel.

και ορθρισαντες το πρωι ανεβησαν εις την κορυφην του ορους λεγοντες ιδου οιδε ημεις αναβησομεθα εις τον τοπον ον ειπεν κυριος οτι ημαρτομεν

But they presumed to go up to the top of the mountain. Nevertheless, the ark of Yahweh’s covenant and Moses didn’t depart out of the camp.
