Aaron did as Moses said, and ran into the middle of the assembly. The plague had already begun among the people. He put on the incense, and made atonement for the people.

And Aaron taketh as Moses hath spoken, and runneth unto the midst of the assembly, and lo, the plague hath begun among the people; and he giveth the perfume, and maketh atonement for the people,

Aaron returned to Moses to the door of the Tent of Meeting, and the plague was stopped.

And Aaron H175 returned H7725 (QalImpf) unto Moses H4872 unto the door H6607 of the tabernacle H168 of the congregation: H4150 and the plague H4046 was stayed. H6113 (NiphPerf)

and Aaron turneth back unto Moses, unto the opening of the tent of meeting, and the plague hath been restrained.

You shall write Aaron’s name on Levi’s rod. There shall be one rod for each head of their fathers’ houses.

and Aaron’s name thou dost write on the tribe of Levi; for one rod is for the head of their fathers’ house:

Moses spoke to the children of Israel; and all their princes gave him rods, for each prince one, according to their fathers’ houses, a total of twelve rods. Aaron’s rod was among their rods.

And Moses speaketh unto the sons of Israel, and all their princes give unto him one rod for a prince, one rod for a prince, for their fathers’ house, twelve rods, and the rod of Aaron is in the midst of their rods;

On the next day, Moses went into the Tent of the Testimony; and behold, Aaron’s rod for the house of Levi had sprouted, budded, produced blossoms, and bore ripe almonds.

And it cometh to pass, on the morrow, that Moses goeth in unto the tent of the testimony, and lo, the rod of Aaron hath flourished for the house of Levi, and is bringing out flourishing, and doth blossom blossoms, and doth produce almonds;

Yahweh said to Moses, “Put back the rod of Aaron before the covenant, to be kept for a token against the children of rebellion; that you may make an end of their complaining against me, that they not die.”

And Jehovah saith unto Moses, ‘Put back the rod of Aaron, before the testimony, for a charge, for a sign to the sons of rebellion, and thou dost remove their murmurings from off me, and they do not die;’

Yahweh said to Aaron, “You and your sons and your fathers’ house with you shall bear the iniquity of the sanctuary; and you and your sons with you shall bear the iniquity of your priesthood.

And Jehovah saith unto Aaron, ‘Thou, and thy sons, and the house of thy father with thee, do bear the iniquity of the sanctuary; and thou, and thy sons with thee, do bear the iniquity of your priesthood;

Yahweh spoke to Aaron, “Behold, I myself have given you the command of my wave offerings, even all the holy things of the children of Israel. I have given them to you by reason of the anointing, and to your sons, as a portion forever.

And Jehovah speaketh unto Aaron: ‘And I, lo, I have given to thee the charge of My heave-offerings, of all the hallowed things of the sons of Israel-to thee I have given them for the anointing, and to thy sons, by a statute age-during.

Yahweh said to Aaron, “You shall have no inheritance in their land, neither shall you have any portion among them. I am your portion and your inheritance among the children of Israel.

And the Lord H3068 spake H559 (QalImpf) unto Aaron, H175 Thou shalt have no inheritance H5157 (QalImpf) in their land, H776 neither shalt thou have any part H2506 among H8432 them: I [am] thy part H2506 and thine inheritance H5159 among H8432 the children H1121 of Israel. H3478

And Jehovah saith unto Aaron, ‘In their land thou dost not inherit, and a portion thou hast not in their midst: I am thy portion, and thine inheritance in the midst of the sons of Israel;

Thus you also shall offer a wave offering to Yahweh of all your tithes, which you receive of the children of Israel; and of it you shall give Yahweh’s wave offering to Aaron the priest.

so ye do lift up-ye also-the heave-offering of Jehovah from all your tithes which ye receive from the sons of Israel; and ye have given from it the heave-offering of Jehovah to Aaron the priest;

Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,

And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, and unto Aaron, saying,

There was no water for the congregation; and they assembled themselves together against Moses and against Aaron.

And there was no water H4325 for the congregation: H5712 and they gathered H6950 (NiphImpf) themselves together against Moses H4872 and against Aaron. H175

And there hath been no water for the company, and they are assembled against Moses, and against Aaron,

Moses and Aaron went from the presence of the assembly to the door of the Tent of Meeting, and fell on their faces. Yahweh’s glory appeared to them.

And Moses and Aaron go in from the presence of the assembly unto the opening of the tent of meeting, and fall on their faces, and the honour of Jehovah is seen by them.

“Take the rod, and assemble the congregation, you, and Aaron your brother, and speak to the rock before their eyes, that it pour out its water. You shall bring water to them out of the rock; so you shall give the congregation and their livestock drink.”

‘Take the rod, and assemble the company, thou and Aaron thy brother; and ye have spoken unto the rock before their eyes, and it hath given its water, and thou hast brought out to them water from the rock, and hast watered the company, and their beasts.’

Moses and Aaron gathered the assembly together before the rock, and he said to them, “Hear now, you rebels! Shall we bring water out of this rock for you?”

And Moses H4872 and Aaron H175 gathered H6950 (HiphImpf) the congregation H6951 together before H6440 the rock, H5553 and he said H559 (QalImpf) unto them, Hear H8085 (QalImpv) now, ye rebels; H4784 (QalActPtc) must we fetch H3318 (HiphImpf) you water H4325 out of this rock? H5553

and Moses and Aaron assemble the assembly unto the front of the rock, and he saith to them, ‘Hear, I pray you, O rebels, from this rock do we bring out to you water?’

Yahweh said to Moses and Aaron, “Because you didn’t believe in me, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.”

And the Lord H3068 spake H559 (QalImpf) unto Moses H4872 and Aaron, H175 Because ye believed H539 (HiphPerf) me not, to sanctify H6942 (HiphInf) me in the eyes H5869 of the children H1121 of Israel, H3478 therefore ye shall not bring H935 (HiphImpf) this congregation H6951 into the land H776 which I have given H5414 (QalPerf) them.

And Jehovah saith unto Moses, and unto Aaron, ‘Because ye have not believed in Me to sanctify Me before the eyes of the sons of Israel, therefore ye do not bring in this assembly unto the land which I have given to them.’

Yahweh spoke to Moses and Aaron in Mount Hor, by the border of the land of Edom, saying,

And the Lord H3068 spake H559 (QalImpf) unto Moses H4872 and Aaron H175 in mount H2022 Hor, H2023 by the coast H1366 of the land H776 of Edom, H123 saying, H559 (QalInf)

and Jehovah speaketh unto Moses and unto Aaron in mount Hor, on the border of the land of Edom, saying,

“Aaron shall be gathered to his people; for he shall not enter into the land which I have given to the children of Israel, because you rebelled against my word at the waters of Meribah.

Aaron H175 shall be gathered H622 (NiphImpf) unto his people: H5971 for he shall not enter H935 (QalImpf) into the land H776 which I have given H5414 (QalPerf) unto the children H1121 of Israel, H3478 because ye rebelled against H4784 (QalPerf) my word H6310 at the water H4325 of Meribah. H4809

‘Aaron is gathered unto his people, for he doth not go in unto the land which I have given to the sons of Israel, because that ye provoked My mouth at the waters of Meribah.

Take Aaron and Eleazar his son, and bring them up to Mount Hor;

Take H3947 (QalImpv) Aaron H175 and Eleazar H499 his son, H1121 and bring them up H5927 (HiphImpv) unto mount H2022 Hor: H2023

‘Take Aaron and Eleazar his son, and cause them to go up mount Hor,

and strip Aaron of his garments, and put them on Eleazar his son. Aaron shall be gathered, and shall die there.”

And strip H6584 (HiphImpv) Aaron H175 of his garments, H899 and put H3847 (HiphPerf) them upon Eleazar H499 his son: H1121 and Aaron H175 shall be gathered H622 (NiphImpf) [unto his people], and shall die H4191 (QalPerf) there.

and strip Aaron of his garments, and thou hast clothed with them Eleazar his son, and Aaron is gathered, and doth die there.’

Moses stripped Aaron of his garments, and put them on Eleazar his son. Aaron died there on the top of the mountain, and Moses and Eleazar came down from the mountain.

And Moses H4872 stripped H6584 (HiphImpf) Aaron H175 of his garments, H899 and put H3847 (HiphImpf) them upon Eleazar H499 his son; H1121 and Aaron H175 died H4191 (QalImpf) there in the top H7218 of the mount: H2022 and Moses H4872 and Eleazar H499 came down H3381 (QalImpf) from the mount. H2022

and Moses strippeth Aaron of his garments, and clotheth with them Eleazar his son, and Aaron dieth there on the top of the mount; and Moses cometh down-Eleazar also-from the mount,

When all the congregation saw that Aaron was dead, they wept for Aaron thirty days, even all the house of Israel.

And when all the congregation H5712 saw H7200 (QalImpf) that Aaron H175 was dead, H1478 (QalPerf) they mourned H1058 (QalImpf) for Aaron H175 thirty H7970 days, H3117 [even] all the house H1004 of Israel. H3478

and all the company see that Aaron hath expired, and they bewail Aaron thirty days-all the house of Israel.

When Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, saw it, he rose up from the middle of the congregation, and took a spear in his hand.

And when Phinehas, H6372 the son H1121 of Eleazar, H499 the son H1121 of Aaron H175 the priest, H3548 saw H7200 (QalImpf) [it], he rose up H6965 (QalImpf) from among H8432 the congregation, H5712 and took H3947 (QalImpf) a javelin H7420 in his hand; H3027

and Phinehas, son of Eleazar, son of Aaron, the priest, seeth, and riseth from the midst of the company, and taketh a javelin in his hand,

“Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, has turned my wrath away from the children of Israel, in that he was jealous with my jealousy among them, so that I didn’t consume the children of Israel in my jealousy.

Phinehas, H6372 the son H1121 of Eleazar, H499 the son H1121 of Aaron H175 the priest, H3548 hath turned H7725 my wrath H2534 away H7725 (HiphPerf) from the children H1121 of Israel, H3478 while he was zealous H7065 (PielInf) for my sake H7068 among H8432 them, that I consumed H3615 (PielPerf) not the children H1121 of Israel H3478 in my jealousy. ‘Phinehas, son of Eleazar, son of Aaron the priest, hath turned back My fury from the sons of Israel, by his being zealous with My zeal in their midst, and I have not consumed the sons of Israel in My zeal.

After the plague, Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest, saying,

And it came to pass after H310 the plague, H4046 that the Lord H3068 spake H559 (QalImpf) unto Moses H4872 and unto Eleazar H499 the son H1121 of Aaron H175 the priest, H3548 saying, H559 (QalInf)

And it cometh to pass, after the plague, that Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, and unto Eleazar son of Aaron the priest, saying,

The sons of Eliab: Nemuel, Dathan, and Abiram. These are that Dathan and Abiram who were called by the congregation, who rebelled against Moses and against Aaron in the company of Korah when they rebelled against Yahweh;

And the sons H1121 of Eliab; H446 Nemuel, H5241 and Dathan, H1885 and Abiram. H48 This [is that] Dathan H1885 and Abiram, H48 [which were] famous H7148 H7121 (QalPasPtc) in the congregation, H5712 who strove H5327 (HiphPerf) against Moses H4872 and against Aaron H175 in the company H5712 of Korah, H7141 when they strove H5327 (HiphInf) against the Lord: H3068

and the sons of Eliab are Nemuel and Dathan and Abiram; this is that Dathan and Abiram, called ones of the company, who have striven against Moses and against Aaron in the company of Korah, in their striving against Jehovah,

The name of Amram’s wife was Jochebed, the daughter of Levi, who was born to Levi in Egypt. She bore to Amram Aaron and Moses, and Miriam their sister.

And the name H8034 of Amram’s H6019 wife H802 [was] Jochebed, H3115 the daughter H1323 of Levi, H3878 whom [her mother] bare H3205 (QalPerf) to Levi H3878 in Egypt: H4714 and she bare H3205 (QalImpf) unto Amram H6019 Aaron H175 and Moses, H4872 and Miriam H4813 their sister. H269

and the name of Amram’s wife is Jochebed, daughter of Levi, whom one hath born to Levi in Egypt; and she beareth to Amram Aaron, and Moses, and Miriam their sister.

To Aaron were born Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.

And unto Aaron H175 was born H3205 (NiphImpf) Nadab, H5070 and Abihu, H30 Eleazar, H499 and Ithamar. H385

And born to Aaron Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar;

But among these there was not a man of them who were counted by Moses and Aaron the priest, who counted the children of Israel in the wilderness of Sinai.

But among these there was not a man H376 of them whom Moses H4872 and Aaron H175 the priest H3548 numbered, H6485 (QalPasPtc) when they numbered H6485 (QalPerf) the children H1121 of Israel H3478 in the wilderness H4057 of Sinai. H5514

and among these there hath not been a man of those numbered by Moses, and Aaron the priest, who numbered the sons of Israel in the wilderness of Sinai,

When you have seen it, you also shall be gathered to your people, as Aaron your brother was gathered;

and thou hast seen it, and thou hast been gathered unto thy people, also thou, as Aaron thy brother hath been gathered,

These are the journeys of the children of Israel, when they went out of the land of Egypt by their armies under the hand of Moses and Aaron.

These [are] the journeys H4550 of the children H1121 of Israel, H3478 which went forth H3318 (QalPerf) out of the land H776 of Egypt H4714 with their armies H6635 under the hand H3027 of Moses H4872 and Aaron. H175

These are journeys of the sons of Israel who have come out of the land of Egypt, by their hosts, by the hand of Moses and Aaron;

Aaron the priest went up into Mount Hor at the commandment of Yahweh and died there, in the fortieth year after the children of Israel had come out of the land of Egypt, in the fifth month, on the first day of the month.

And Aaron H175 the priest H3548 went up H5927 (QalImpf) into mount H2022 Hor H2023 at the commandment H6310 of the Lord, H3068 and died H4191 (QalImpf) there, in the fortieth H705 year H8141 after the children H1121 of Israel H3478 were come out H3318 (QalInf) of the land H776 of Egypt, H4714 in the first H259 [day] of the fifth H2549 month. H2320

And Aaron the priest goeth up unto mount Hor, by the command of Jehovah, and dieth there, in the fortieth year of the going out of the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt, in the fifth month, on the first of the month;

Aaron was one hundred twenty-three years old when he died in Mount Hor.

And Aaron H175 [was] an hundred H3967 and twenty H6242 and three H7969 years H8141 old H1121 when he died H4194 in mount H2022 Hor. H2023

and Aaron is a son of a hundred and twenty and three years in his dying in mount Hor.

Yahweh was angry enough with Aaron to destroy him. I prayed for Aaron also at the same time.

And the Lord H3068 was very H3966 angry H599 (HithPerf) with Aaron H175 to have destroyed H8045 (HiphInf) him: and I prayed H6419 (HithImpf) for Aaron H175 also the same time. H6256

‘And with Aaron hath Jehovah shewed himself very angry, to destroy him, and I pray also for Aaron at that time;

(The children of Israel traveled from Beeroth Bene Jaakan to Moserah. There Aaron died, and there he was buried; and Eleazar his son ministered in the priest’s office in his place.

And the children H1121 of Israel H3478 took their journey H5265 (QalPerf) from Beeroth of the children of Jaakan H885 to Mosera: H4149 there Aaron H175 died, H4191 (QalPerf) and there he was buried; H6912 (NiphImpf) and Eleazar H499 his son H1121 ministered in the priest’s office H3547 (PielImpf) in his stead.

‘And the sons of Israel have journeyed from Beeroth of the sons of Jaakan to Mosera, there Aaron died, and he is buried there, and Eleazar his son doth act as priest in his stead;

Die on the mountain where you go up, and be gathered to your people, as Aaron your brother died on Mount Hor, and was gathered to his people;

and die in the mount whither thou art going up, and be gathered unto thy people, as Aaron thy brother hath died in the mount Hor, and is gathered unto his people:

The lot came out for the families of the Kohathites. The children of Aaron the priest, who were of the Levites, had thirteen cities by lot out of the tribe of Judah, out of the tribe of the Simeonites, and out of the tribe of Benjamin.

And the lot H1486 came out H3318 (QalImpf) for the families H4940 of the Kohathites: H6956 and the children H1121 of Aaron H175 the priest, H3548 [which were] of the Levites, H3881 had by lot H1486 out of the tribe H4294 of Judah, H3063 and out of the tribe H4294 of Simeon, H8099 and out of the tribe H4294 of Benjamin, H1144 thirteen H7969 H6240 cities. And the lot goeth out for the families of the Kohathite, and there are for the sons of Aaron the priest (of the Levites), out of the tribe of Judah, and out of the tribe of Simeon, and out of the tribe of Benjamin, by lot thirteen cities,

and they were for the children of Aaron, of the families of the Kohathites, who were of the children of Levi; for theirs was the first lot.

Which the children H1121 of Aaron, H175 [being] of the families H4940 of the Kohathites, H6956 [who were] of the children H1121 of Levi, H3878 had: for theirs was the first H7223 (Qere) H7223 lot. H1486

and they are for the sons of Aaron, of the families of the Kohathite, of the sons of Levi, for theirs hath been the first lot;

To the children of Aaron the priest they gave Hebron with its pasture lands, the city of refuge for the man slayer, Libnah with its pasture lands,

Thus they gave H5414 (QalPerf) to the children H1121 of Aaron H175 the priest H3548 Hebron H2275 with her suburbs, H4054 [to be] a city H5892 of refuge H4733 for the slayer; H7523 (QalActPtc) and Libnah H3841 with her suburbs, H4054

And to the sons of Aaron the priest they have given the city of refuge for the man-slayer, Hebron and its suburbs, and Libnah and its suburbs,

All the cities of the children of Aaron, the priests, were thirteen cities with their pasture lands.

All the cities H5892 of the children H1121 of Aaron, H175 the priests, H3548 [were] thirteen H7969 H6240 cities H5892 with their suburbs. H4054

all the cities of the sons of Aaron the priests, are thirteen cities and their suburbs.

“ ‘I sent Moses and Aaron, and I plagued Egypt, according to that which I did among them: and afterward I brought you out.

Eleazar the son of Aaron died. They buried him in the hill of Phinehas his son, which was given him in the hill country of Ephraim.

And Eleazar son of Aaron died, and they bury him in the hill of Phinehas his son, which was given to him in the hill-country of Ephraim.

and Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron, stood before it in those days), saying, “Shall I yet again go out to battle against the children of Benjamin my brother, or shall I cease?” Yahweh said, “Go up; for tomorrow I will deliver him into your hand.”

Samuel said to the people, “It is Yahweh who appointed Moses and Aaron, and that brought your fathers up out of the land of Egypt.

And Aaron and his sons are making perfume on the altar of the burnt-offering, and on the altar of the perfume, for all the work of the holy of holies, and to make atonement for Israel, according to all that Moses servant of God commanded.

To the sons of Aaron they gave the cities of refuge, Hebron, Libnah also with its pasture lands, Jattir, Eshtemoa with its pasture lands,
