και μνησθησεσθε τας οδους υμων τας πονηρας και τα επιτηδευματα υμων τα μη αγαθα και προσοχθιειτε κατα προσωπον αυτων εν ταις ανομιαις υμων και επι τοις βδελυγμασιν υμων

I don’t do this for your sake,” says the Lord Yahweh. “Let it be known to you. Be ashamed and confounded for your ways, house of Israel.”

I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel. One king will be king to them all. They will no longer be two nations. They won’t be divided into two kingdoms any more at all.

They won’t defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions; but I will save them out of all their dwelling places in which they have sinned, and will cleanse them. So they will be my people, and I will be their God.

“ ‘ “I will make my holy name known among my people Israel. I won’t allow my holy name to be profaned any more. Then the nations will know that I am Yahweh, the Holy One in Israel.

Moreover the prince shall not take of the people’s inheritance, to thrust them out of their possession. He shall give inheritance to his sons out of his own possession, that my people not each be scattered from his possession.” ’ ”

As for that which was broken, in the place where four stood up, four kingdoms will stand up out of the nation, but not with his power.
