[1] Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,
[2] “Son of man, set your face toward Gog, of the land of Magog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal, and prophesy against him,
[3] and say, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “Behold, I am against you, Gog, prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal.
[4] I will turn you around, and put hooks into your jaws, and I will bring you out, with all your army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed in full armor, a great company with buckler and shield, all of them handling swords;
[5] Persia, Cush, and Put with them, all of them with shield and helmet;
[6] Gomer, and all his hordes; the house of Togarmah in the uttermost parts of the north, and all his hordes—even many peoples with you.
[7] “ ‘ “Be prepared, yes, prepare yourself, you, and all your companies who are assembled to you, and be a guard to them.
[8] After many days you will be visited. In the latter years you will come into the land that is brought back from the sword, that is gathered out of many peoples, on the mountains of Israel, which have been a continual waste; but it is brought out of the peoples and they will dwell securely, all of them.
[9] You will ascend. You will come like a storm. You will be like a cloud to cover the land, you and all your hordes, and many peoples with you.”
[10] “ ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “It will happen in that day that things will come into your mind, and you will devise an evil plan.
[11] You will say, ‘I will go up to the land of unwalled villages. I will go to those who are at rest, who dwell securely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,
[12] to take the plunder and to take prey; to turn your hand against the waste places that are inhabited, and against the people who are gathered out of the nations, who have gotten livestock and goods, who dwell in the middle of the earth.’
[13] Sheba, Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all its young lions, will ask you, ‘Have you come to take the plunder? Have you assembled your company to take the prey, to carry away silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods, to take great plunder?’ ” ’
[14] “Therefore, son of man, prophesy, and tell Gog, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “In that day when my people Israel dwells securely, will you not know it?
[15] You will come from your place out of the uttermost parts of the north, you, and many peoples with you, all of them riding on horses, a great company and a mighty army.
[16] You will come up against my people Israel as a cloud to cover the land. It will happen in the latter days that I will bring you against my land, that the nations may know me when I am sanctified in you, Gog, before their eyes.”
[17] “ ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “Are you he of whom I spoke in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, who prophesied in those days for years that I would bring you against them?
[18] It will happen in that day, when Gog comes against the land of Israel,” says the Lord Yahweh, “that my wrath will come up into my nostrils.
[19] For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath I have spoken. Surely in that day there will be a great shaking in the land of Israel,
[20] so that the fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, the animals of the field, all creeping things who creep on the earth, and all the men who are on the surface of the earth will shake at my presence. Then the mountains will be thrown down, the steep places will fall, and every wall will fall to the ground.
[21] I will call for a sword against him to all my mountains,” says the Lord Yahweh. “Every man’s sword will be against his brother.
[22] I will enter into judgment with him with pestilence and with blood. I will rain on him, on his hordes, and on the many peoples who are with him, torrential rains with great hailstones, fire, and sulfur.
[23] I will magnify myself and sanctify myself, and I will make myself known in the eyes of many nations. Then they will know that I am Yahweh.” ’

[3] And say H559 (8804), Thus saith H559 (8804) the Lord H136 GOD H3069; Behold, I [am] against thee, O Gog H1463, the chief H7218 prince H5387 of Meshech H4902 and Tubal H8422:

[7] Be thou prepared H3559 (8734), and prepare H3559 (8685) for thyself, thou, and all thy company H6951 that are assembled H6950 (8737) unto thee, and be thou a guard H4929 unto them.
[8] After many H7227 days H3117 thou shalt be visited H6485 (8735): in the latter H319 years H8141 thou shalt come H935 (8799) into the land H776 [that is] brought back H7725 (8796) from the sword H2719, [and is] gathered H6908 (8794) out of many H7227 people H5971, against the mountains H2022 of Israel H3478, which have been always H8548 waste H2723: but it is brought forth H3318 (8717) out of the nations H5971, and they shall dwell H3427 (8804) safely H983 all of them.

[10] Thus saith H559 (8804) the Lord H136 GOD H3069; It shall also come to pass, [that] at the same time H3117 shall things H1697 come H5927 (8799) into thy mind H3824, and thou shalt think H2803 (8804) an evil H7451 thought H4284:
[11] And thou shalt say H559 (8804), I will go up H5927 (8799) to the land H776 of unwalled villages H6519; I will go H935 (8799) to them that are at rest H8252 (8802), that dwell H3427 (8802) safely H983, all of them dwelling H3427 (8802) without walls H2346, and having neither bars H1280 nor gates H1817,
[12] To take H7997 (8800) a spoil H7998, and to take H962 (8800) a prey H957; to turn H7725 (8687) thine hand H3027 upon the desolate places H2723 [that are now] inhabited H3427 (8737), and upon the people H5971 [that are] gathered H622 (8794) out of the nations H1471, which have gotten H6213 (8802) cattle H4735 and goods H7075, that dwell H3427 (8802) in the midst H2872 of the land H776.
[13] Sheba H7614, and Dedan H1719, and the merchants H5503 (8802) of Tarshish H8659, with all the young lions H3715 thereof, shall say H559 (8799) unto thee, Art thou come H935 (8802) to take H7997 (8800) a spoil H7998? hast thou gathered H6950 (8689) thy company H6951 to take H962 (8800) a prey H957? to carry away H5375 (8800) silver H3701 and gold H2091, to take away H3947 (8800) cattle H4735 and goods H7075, to take H7997 (8800) a great H1419 spoil H7998?
[14] Therefore, son H1121 of man H120, prophesy H5012 (8734) and say H559 (8804) unto Gog H1463, Thus saith H559 (8804) the Lord H136 GOD H3069; In that day H3117 when my people H5971 of Israel H3478 dwelleth H3427 (8800) safely H983, shalt thou not know H3045 (8799) [it]?
[15] And thou shalt come H935 (8804) from thy place H4725 out of the north H6828 parts H3411, thou, and many H7227 people H5971 with thee, all of them riding H7392 (8802) upon horses H5483, a great H1419 company H6951, and a mighty H7227 army H2428:
[16] And thou shalt come up H5927 (8804) against my people H5971 of Israel H3478, as a cloud H6051 to cover H3680 (8763) the land H776; it shall be in the latter H319 days H3117, and I will bring H935 (8689) thee against my land H776, that the heathen H1471 may know H3045 (8800) me, when I shall be sanctified H6942 (8736) in thee, O Gog H1463, before their eyes H5869.
[17] Thus saith H559 (8804) the Lord H136 GOD H3069; [Art] thou he of whom I have spoken H1696 (8765) in old H6931 time H3117 by H3027 my servants H5650 the prophets H5030 of Israel H3478, which prophesied H5012 (8737) in those days H3117 [many] years H8141 that I would bring H935 (8687) thee against them?
[18] And it shall come to pass at the same time H3117 when H3117 Gog H1463 shall come H935 (8800) against the land H127 of Israel H3478, saith H5002 (8803) the Lord H136 GOD H3069, [that] my fury H2534 shall come up H5927 (8799) in my face H639.
[19] For in my jealousy H7068 [and] in the fire H784 of my wrath H5678 have I spoken H1696 (8765), Surely in that day H3117 there shall be a great H1419 shaking H7494 in the land H127 of Israel H3478;
[20] So that the fishes H1709 of the sea H3220, and the fowls H5775 of the heaven H8064, and the beasts H2416 of the field H7704, and all creeping things H7431 that creep H7430 (8802) upon the earth H127, and all the men H120 that [are] upon the face H6440 of the earth H127, shall shake H7493 (8804) at my presence H6440, and the mountains H2022 shall be thrown down H2040 (8738), and the steep places H4095 shall fall H5307 (8804), and every wall H2346 shall fall H5307 (8799) to the ground H776.
[21] And I will call H7121 (8804) for a sword H2719 against him throughout all my mountains H2022, saith H5002 (8803) the Lord H136 GOD H3069: every man’s H376 sword H2719 shall be against his brother H251.
[22] And I will plead H8199 (8738) against him with pestilence H1698 and with blood H1818; and I will rain H4305 (8686) upon him, and upon his bands H102, and upon the many H7227 people H5971 that [are] with him, an overflowing H7857 (8802) rain H1653, and great hailstones H417 H68, fire H784, and brimstone H1614.
[23] Thus will I magnify H1431 (8694) myself, and sanctify H6942 (8694) myself; and I will be known H3045 (8738) in the eyes H5869 of many H7227 nations H1471, and they shall know H3045 (8804) that I [am] the LORD H3068.

[1] And there is a word of Jehovah unto me, saying:
[2] ‘Son of man, set thy face unto Gog, of the land of Magog, prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal, and prophesy concerning him,
[3] and thou hast said: Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Lo, I am against thee, O Gog, Prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal,
[4] And I have turned thee back, And I have put hooks in thy jaws, And have brought thee out, and all thy force, Horses and horsemen, Clothed in perfection all of them, A numerous assembly, with buckler and shield, Handling swords-all of them.
[5] Persia, Cush, and Phut, with them, All of them with shield and helmet.
[6] Gomer and all its bands, The house of Togarmah of the sides of the north, And all its bands, many peoples with thee,
[7] Be prepared, yea, prepare for thee, Thou and all thine assemblies who are assembled unto thee, And thou hast been to them for a guard.
[8] After many days thou art appointed, In the latter end of the years thou comest in unto a land brought back from sword, A people gathered out of many peoples, Upon mountains of Israel, That have been for a perpetual waste, And it from the peoples hath been brought out, And dwelt safely have all of them.
[9] And thou hast gone up-as wasting thou comest in, As a cloud to cover the land art thou, Thou and all thy bands, and many peoples with thee.
[10] Thus said the Lord Jehovah: And it hath come to pass in that day, Come up do things on thy heart, And thou hast thought an evil thought,
[11] And thou hast said: I go up against a land of unwalled villages, I go in to those at rest, dwelling confidently, All of them are dwelling without walls, And bar and doors they have not.
[12] To take a spoil, and to take a prey, To turn back thy hand on inhabited wastes, And on a people gathered out of nations, Making cattle and substance, Dwelling on a high part of the land.
[13] Sheba, and Dedan, and merchants of Tarshish, And all its young lions say to thee: To take a spoil art thou come in? To take a prey assembled thine assembly? To bear away silver and gold? To take away cattle and substance? To take a great spoil?
[14] Therefore, prophesy, son of man, and thou hast said to Gog: Thus said the Lord Jehovah: In that day, in the dwelling of My people Israel safely, Dost thou not know?
[15] And thou hast come in out of thy place, From the sides of the north, Thou and many peoples with thee, Riding on horses-all of them, A great assembly, and a numerous force.
[16] And thou hast come up against My people Israel, As a cloud to cover the land, In the latter end of the days it is, And I have brought thee in against My land, In order that the nations may know Me, In My being sanctified in thee before their eyes, O Gog.
[17] Thus said the Lord Jehovah: Art thou he of whom I spake in former days, By the hand of My servants, prophets of Israel, Who are prophesying in those days-years, To bring thee in against them?
[18] And it hath come to pass, in that day, In the day of the coming in of Gog against the land of Israel, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah, Come up doth My fury in My face,
[19] And in My zeal, in the fire of My wrath, I have spoken: Is there not in that day a great rushing on the land of Israel?
[20] And rushed from My presence have fishes of the sea, And the fowl of the heavens, And the beast of the field, And every creeping thing that is creeping on the ground, And all men who are on the face of the ground, And thrown down have been the mountains, And fallen have the ascents, And every wall to the earth falleth.
[21] And I have called against him, to all My mountains a sword, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah, The sword of each is against his brother.
[22] And I have been judged with him, With pestilence and with blood, And an overflowing rain and hailstones, Fire and brimstone I rain on him, and on his bands, And on many peoples who are with him.
[23] And I have magnified Myself, and sanctified Myself, And I have been known before the eyes of many nations, And they have known that I am Jehovah!
