Why do you discourage the heart of the children of Israel from going over into the land which Yahweh has given them?

και ανεβησαν φαραγγα βοτρυος και κατενοησαν την γην και απεστησαν την καρδιαν των υιων ισραηλ οπως μη εισελθωσιν εις την γην ην εδωκεν κυριος αυτοις

και ωργισθη θυμω κυριος επι τον ισραηλ και κατερρομβευσεν αυτους εν τη ερημω τεσσαρακοντα ετη εως εξανηλωθη πασα η γενεα οι ποιουντες τα πονηρα εναντι κυριου

ιδου ανεστητε αντι των πατερων υμων συστρεμμα ανθρωπων αμαρτωλων προσθειναι ετι επι τον θυμον της οργης κυριου επι ισραηλ

but we ourselves will be ready armed to go before the children of Israel, until we have brought them to their place. Our little ones shall dwell in the fortified cities because of the inhabitants of the land.
