δευτε ουν κατασοφισωμεθα αυτους μηποτε πληθυνθη και ηνικα αν συμβη ημιν πολεμος προστεθησονται και ουτοι προς τους υπεναντιους και εκπολεμησαντες ημας εξελευσονται εκ της γης

και συ σεαυτω σκεψαι απο παντος του λαου ανδρας δυνατους θεοσεβεις ανδρας δικαιους μισουντας υπερηφανιαν και καταστησεις αυτους επ αυτων χιλιαρχους και εκατονταρχους και πεντηκονταρχους και δεκαδαρχους

you shall not bow yourself down to them, nor serve them, for I, Yahweh your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and on the fourth generation of those who hate me,

If you see the donkey of him who hates you fallen down under his burden, don’t leave him. You shall surely help him with it.

εαν δε ιδης το υποζυγιον του εχθρου σου πεπτωκος υπο τον γομον αυτου ου παρελευση αυτο αλλα συνεγερεις αυτο μετ αυτου

“ ‘You shall not hate your brother in your heart. You shall surely rebuke your neighbor, and not bear sin because of him.

ου μισησεις τον αδελφον σου τη διανοια σου ελεγμω ελεγξεις τον πλησιον σου και ου λημψη δι αυτον αμαρτιαν

I will set my face against you, and you will be struck before your enemies. Those who hate you will rule over you; and you will flee when no one pursues you.

και επιστησω το προσωπον μου εφ υμας και πεσεισθε εναντιον των εχθρων υμων και διωξονται υμας οι μισουντες υμας και φευξεσθε ουθενος διωκοντος υμας

When the ark went forward, Moses said, “Rise up, Yahweh, and let your enemies be scattered! Let those who hate you flee before you!”

that the man slayer might flee there, who kills his neighbor unintentionally and didn’t hate him in time past, and that fleeing to one of these cities he might live:

That the slayer H7523 (QalActPtc) might flee H5127 (QalInf) thither, which should kill H7523 (QalImpf) his neighbour H7453 unawares, H1097 H1847 and hated H8130 (QalActPtc) him not in times H8543 past; H8032 and that fleeing H5127 (QalPerf) unto one H259 of these H411 cities H5892 he might live: H2425 (QalPerf)

φυγειν εκει τον φονευτην ος αν φονευση τον πλησιον ουκ ειδως και ουτος ου μισων αυτον προ της εχθες και τριτης και καταφευξεται εις μιαν των πολεων τουτων και ζησεται

and repays those who hate him to their face, to destroy them. He will not be slack to him who hates him. He will repay him to his face.

And repayeth H7999 (PielPtc) them that hate H8130 (QalActPtc) him to their face, H6440 to destroy H6 (HiphInf) them: he will not be slack H309 (PielImpf) to him that hateth H8130 (QalActPtc) him, he will repay H7999 (PielImpf) him to his face. H6440

και αποδιδους τοις μισουσιν κατα προσωπον εξολεθρευσαι αυτους και ουχι βραδυνει τοις μισουσιν κατα προσωπον αποδωσει αυτοις

Yahweh will take away from you all sickness; and he will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which you know, on you, but will lay them on all those who hate you.

And the Lord H3068 will take away H5493 (HiphPerf) from thee all sickness, H2483 and will put H7760 (QalImpf) none of the evil H7451 diseases H4064 of Egypt, H4714 which thou knowest, H3045 (QalPerf) upon thee; but will lay H5414 (QalPerf) them upon all [them] that hate H8130 (QalActPtc) thee.

και περιελει κυριος απο σου πασαν μαλακιαν και πασας νοσους αιγυπτου τας πονηρας ας εωρακας και οσα εγνως ουκ επιθησει επι σε και επιθησει αυτα επι παντας τους μισουντας σε

You shall not do so to Yahweh your God; for every abomination to Yahweh, which he hates, they have done to their gods; for they even burn their sons and their daughters in the fire to their gods.

Neither shall you set yourself up a sacred stone which Yahweh your God hates.

This is the case of the man slayer who shall flee there and live: Whoever kills his neighbor unintentionally, and didn’t hate him in time past—

τουτο δε εσται το προσταγμα του φονευτου ος αν φυγη εκει και ζησεται ος αν παταξη τον πλησιον αυτου ακουσιως και ουτος ου μισων αυτον προ της εχθες και προ της τριτης

Otherwise, the avenger of blood might pursue the man slayer while hot anger is in his heart and overtake him, because the way is long, and strike him mortally, even though he was not worthy of death, because he didn’t hate him in time past.

και εσται η αν ημερα κατακληροδοτη τοις υιοις αυτου τα υπαρχοντα αυτου ου δυνησεται πρωτοτοκευσαι τω υιω της ηγαπημενης υπεριδων τον υιον της μισουμενης τον πρωτοτοκον

but he shall acknowledge the firstborn, the son of the hated, by giving him a double portion of all that he has; for he is the beginning of his strength. The right of the firstborn is his.

αλλα τον πρωτοτοκον υιον της μισουμενης επιγνωσεται δουναι αυτω διπλα απο παντων ων αν ευρεθη αυτω οτι ουτος εστιν αρχη τεκνων αυτου και τουτω καθηκει τα πρωτοτοκια

If any man takes a wife, and goes in to her, hates her,

If any man H376 take H3947 (QalImpf) a wife, H802 and go in H935 (QalPerf) unto her, and hate H8130 (QalPerf) her,

εαν δε τις λαβη γυναικα και συνοικηση αυτη και μισηση αυτην

The young lady’s father shall tell the elders, “I gave my daughter to this man as his wife, and he hates her.

If the latter husband hates her, and writes her a certificate of divorce, puts it in her hand, and sends her out of his house; or if the latter husband dies, who took her to be his wife;

και μισηση αυτην ο ανηρ ο εσχατος και γραψει αυτη βιβλιον αποστασιου και δωσει εις τας χειρας αυτης και εξαποστελει αυτην εκ της οικιας αυτου η αποθανη ο ανηρ ο εσχατος ος ελαβεν αυτην εαυτω γυναικα

Yahweh your God will put all these curses on your enemies and on those who hate you, who persecuted you.

And the Lord H3068 thy God H430 will put H5414 (QalPerf) all these curses H423 upon thine enemies, H341 (QalActPtc) and on them that hate H8130 (QalActPtc) thee, which persecuted H7291 (QalPerf) thee.

και δωσει κυριος ο θεος σου τας αρας ταυτας επι τους εχθρους σου και επι τους μισουντας σε οι εδιωξαν σε

if I sharpen my glittering sword, my hand grasps it in judgment; I will take vengeance on my adversaries, and will repay those who hate me.

If I whet H8150 (QalPerf) my glittering H1300 sword, H2719 and mine hand H3027 take hold H270 (QalImpf) on judgment; H4941 I will render H7725 (HiphImpf) vengeance H5359 to mine enemies, H6862 and will reward H7999 (PielImpf) them that hate H8130 (PielPtc) me.

οτι παροξυνω ως αστραπην την μαχαιραν μου και ανθεξεται κριματος η χειρ μου και ανταποδωσω δικην τοις εχθροις και τοις μισουσιν με ανταποδωσω

Yahweh, bless his skills. Accept the work of his hands. Strike through the hips of those who rise up against him, of those who hate him, that they not rise again.”

Bless, H1288 (PielImpv) Lord, H3068 his substance, H2428 and accept H7521 (QalImpf) the work H6467 of his hands: H3027 smite H4272 (QalImpv) through the loins H4975 of them that rise H6965 (QalPtc) against him, and of them that hate H8130 (PielPtc) him, that they rise H6965 not H4480 again. και εκλαυσεν η γυνη σαμψων επ αυτον και ειπεν αυτω μεμισηκας με και ουκ ηγαπηκας με οτι το προβλημα ο προεβαλου τοις υιοις του λαου μου καμοι ουκ απηγγειλας αυτο και ειπεν αυτη σαμψων ιδου τω πατρι μου και τη μητρι μου ουκ απηγγειλα αυτο και σοι απαγγελω

Her father said, “I most certainly thought that you utterly hated her; therefore I gave her to your companion. Isn’t her younger sister more beautiful than she? Please, take her instead.”

David said on that day, “Whoever strikes the Jebusites, let him go up to the watercourse and strike those lame and blind, who are hated by David’s soul.” Therefore they say, “The blind and the lame can’t come into the house.”

Absalom spoke to Amnon neither good nor bad; for Absalom hated Amnon, because he had forced his sister Tamar.

in that you love those who hate you and hate those who love you. For you have declared today that princes and servants are nothing to you. For today I perceive that if Absalom had lived and we had all died today, then it would have pleased you well.

He delivered me from my strong enemy, from those who hated me, for they were too mighty for me.

Jehu the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him, and said to King Jehoshaphat, “Should you help the wicked, and love those who hate Yahweh? Because of this, wrath is on you from before Yahweh.

και εξηλθεν εις απαντησιν αυτου ιου ο του ανανι ο προφητης και ειπεν αυτω βασιλευ ιωσαφατ ει αμαρτωλω συ βοηθεις η μισουμενω υπο κυριου φιλιαζεις δια τουτο εγενετο επι σε οργη παρα κυριου

Now in the twelfth month, which is the month Adar, on the thirteenth day of the month, when the king’s commandment and his decree came near to be put in execution, on the day that the enemies of the Jews hoped to conquer them, (but it turned out that the opposite happened, that the Jews conquered those who hated them),

Now in the twelfth H8147 H6240 month, H2320 that [is], the month H2320 Adar, H143 on the thirteenth H7969 H6240 day H3117 of the same, when the king’s H4428 commandment H1697 and his decree H1881 drew near H5060 (HiphPerf) to be put in execution, H6213 (NiphInf) in the day H3117 that the enemies H341 (QalActPtc) of the Jews H3064 hoped H7663 (PielPerf) to have power H7980 (QalInf) over them, (though it was turned H2015 (NiphInf) to the contrary, that the Jews H3064 had rule H7980 (QalImpf) over them that hated H8130 (QalActPtc) them;)

εν γαρ τω δωδεκατω μηνι τρισκαιδεκατη του μηνος ος εστιν αδαρ παρην τα γραμματα τα γραφεντα υπο του βασιλεως

The Jews struck all their enemies with the stroke of the sword, and with slaughter and destruction, and did what they wanted to those who hated them.

Thus the Jews H3064 smote H5221 (HiphImpf) all their enemies H341 (QalActPtc) with the stroke H4347 of the sword, H2719 and slaughter, H2027 and destruction, H12 and did H6213 (QalImpf) what they would H7522 unto those that hated H8130 (QalActPtc) them.

The other Jews who were in the king’s provinces gathered themselves together, defended their lives, had rest from their enemies, and killed seventy-five thousand of those who hated them; but they didn’t lay their hand on the plunder.

But the other H7605 Jews H3064 that [were] in the king’s H4428 provinces H4082 gathered themselves together, H6950 (NiphPerf) and stood H5975 (QalInf) for their lives, H5315 and had rest H5118 from their enemies, H341 (QalActPtc) and slew H2026 (QalInf) of their foes H8130 (QalActPtc) seventy H7657 and five H2568 thousand, H505 but they laid H7971 (QalPerf) not their hands H3027 on the prey, H961

οι δε λοιποι των ιουδαιων οι εν τη βασιλεια συνηχθησαν και εαυτοις εβοηθουν και ανεπαυσαντο απο των πολεμιων απωλεσαν γαρ αυτων μυριους πεντακισχιλιους τη τρισκαιδεκατη του αδαρ και ουδεν διηρπασαν

Those who hate you will be clothed with shame. The tent of the wicked will be no more.”
