παροικος και παρεπιδημος εγω ειμι μεθ υμων δοτε ουν μοι κτησιν ταφου μεθ υμων και θαψω τον νεκρον μου απ εμου

She bore a son, and he named him Gershom,° for he said, “I have lived as a foreigner in a foreign land.”

Exodus 2:22 “Gershom” sounds like the Hebrew for “an alien there”.

One law shall be to him who is born at home, and to the stranger who lives as a foreigner among you.”

One H259 law H8451 shall be to him that is homeborn, H249 and unto the stranger H1616 that sojourneth H1481 (QalActPtc) among H8432 you.

νομος εις εσται τω εγχωριω και τω προσελθοντι προσηλυτω εν υμιν

and her two sons. The name of one son was Gershom,° for Moses said, “I have lived as a foreigner in a foreign land”.

Exodus 18:3 “Gershom” sounds like the Hebrew for “an alien there”.

Leviticus 25:35 Heb. his hand faileth

“‘If a foreigner lives among you and desires to keep the Passover to Yahweh, then he shall do so according to the statute of the Passover, and according to its ordinance. You shall have one statute, both for the foreigner and for him who is born in the land.’”

If a stranger lives as a foreigner with you, or whoever may be among you throughout your generations, and will offer an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Yahweh, as you do, so he shall do.

You shall have one law for him who does anything unwittingly, for him who is native-born among the children of Israel, and for the stranger who lives as a foreigner among them.
