But when the judge was dead, they turned back, and dealt more corruptly than their fathers in following other gods to serve them and to bow down to them. They didn’t cease what they were doing, or give up their stubborn ways.

ο λεγων οικος ιακωβ παρωργισεν πνευμα κυριου ει ταυτα τα επιτηδευματα αυτου εστιν ουχ οι λογοι αυτου εισιν καλοι μετ αυτου και ορθοι πεπορευνται

Then they will cry to Yahweh, but he will not answer them. Yes, he will hide his face from them at that time, because they made their deeds evil.”

ουτως κεκραξονται προς κυριον και ουκ εισακουσεται αυτων και αποστρεψει το προσωπον αυτου απ αυτων εν τω καιρω εκεινω ανθ ων επονηρευσαντο εν τοις επιτηδευμασιν αυτων επ αυτους

Yet the land will be desolate because of those who dwell therein, for the fruit of their doings.

Micah 7:13 Or, after that it hath been

και εσται η γη εις αφανισμον συν τοις κατοικουσιν αυτην εκ καρπων επιτηδευματων αυτων

Don’t you be like your fathers, to whom the former prophets proclaimed, saying: Yahweh of Armies says, ‘Return now from your evil ways and from your evil doings;’ but they didn’t hear nor listen to me, says Yahweh.

και μη γινεσθε καθως οι πατερες υμων οις ενεκαλεσαν αυτοις οι προφηται οι εμπροσθεν λεγοντες ταδε λεγει κυριος παντοκρατωρ αποστρεψατε απο των οδων υμων των πονηρων και απο των επιτηδευματων υμων των πονηρων και ου προσεσχον του εισακουσαι μου λεγει κυριος
