Micah 2 (WEBP)
[1] Woe to those who devise iniquity and work evil on their beds! When the morning is light, they practice it, because it is in the power of their hand.
[2] They covet fields and seize them, and houses, then take them away. They oppress a man and his house, even a man and his heritage.
[3] Therefore Yahweh says: “Behold, I am planning against these people a disaster, from which you will not remove your necks, neither will you walk haughtily, for it is an evil time.
[4] In that day they will take up a parable against you, and lament with a doleful lamentation, saying, ‘We are utterly ruined! My people’s possession is divided up. Indeed he takes it from me and assigns our fields to traitors!’ ”
[5] Therefore you will have no one who divides the land by lot in Yahweh’s assembly.
[6] “Don’t prophesy!”—they prophesy— “Don’t prophesy about these things. Disgrace won’t overtake us.”
[7] Shall it be said, O house of Jacob, “Is Yahweh’s Spirit angry? Are these his doings? Don’t my words do good to him who walks blamelessly?”
[8] But lately my people have risen up as an enemy. You strip the robe and clothing from those who pass by without a care, returning from battle.
[9] You drive the women of my people out from their pleasant houses; from their young children you take away my blessing forever.
[10] Arise, and depart! For this is not your resting place, because of uncleanness that destroys, even with a grievous destruction.
[11] If a man walking in a spirit of falsehood lies, saying, “I will prophesy to you of wine and of strong drink,” he would be the prophet of this people.
[12] I will surely assemble all of you, Jacob. I will surely gather the remnant of Israel. I will put them together as the sheep of Bozrah, as a flock in the middle of their pasture. They will swarm with people.
[13] He who breaks open the way goes up before them. They break through the gate, and go out. Their king passes on before them, with Yahweh at their head.

Micah 2 (KJVS)
[1] Woe H1945 to them that devise H2803 (8802) iniquity H205, and work H6466 (8802) evil H7451 upon their beds H4904! when the morning H1242 is light H216, they practise H6213 (8799) it, because it is H3426 in the power H410 of their hand H3027.
[2] And they covet H2530 (8804) fields H7704, and take [them] by violence H1497 (8804); and houses H1004, and take [them] away H5375 (8804): so they oppress H6231 (8804) a man H1397 and his house H1004, even a man H376 and his heritage H5159.
[3] Therefore thus saith H559 (8804) the LORD H3068; Behold, against this family H4940 do I devise H2803 (8802) an evil H7451, from which ye shall not remove H4185 (8686) your necks H6677; neither shall ye go H3212 (8799) haughtily H7317: for this time H6256 [is] evil H7451.
[4] In that day H3117 shall [one] take up H5375 (8799) a parable H4912 against you, and lament H5091 (8804) with a doleful H5093 lamentation H5092, [and] say H559 (8804), We be utterly H7703 (8800) spoiled H7703 (8738): he hath changed H4171 (8686) the portion H2506 of my people H5971: how hath he removed H4185 (8686) [it] from me! turning away H7725 (8788) he hath divided H2505 (8762) our fields H7704.
[5] Therefore thou shalt have none that shall cast H7993 (8688) a cord H2256 by lot H1486 in the congregation H6951 of the LORD H3068.
[6] Prophesy H5197 (8686) ye not, [say they to them that] prophesy H5197 (8686): they shall not prophesy H5197 (8686) to them, [that] they shall not take H5253 (8799) shame H3639.
[7] O [thou that art] named H559 (8803) the house H1004 of Jacob H3290, is the spirit H7307 of the LORD H3068 straitened H7114 (8804)? [are] these his doings H4611? do not my words H1697 do good H3190 (8686) to him that walketh H1980 (8802) uprightly H3477?
[8] Even of late H865 my people H5971 is risen up H6965 (8787) as an enemy H341 (8802): ye pull off H6584 (8686) the robe H145 with H4136 the garment H8008 from them that pass H5674 (8802) by securely H983 as men averse H7725 (8803) from war H4421.
[9] The women H802 of my people H5971 have ye cast out H1644 (8762) from their pleasant H8588 houses H1004; from their children H5768 have ye taken away H3947 (8799) my glory H1926 for ever H5769.
[10] Arise H6965 (8798) ye, and depart H3212 (8798); for this [is] not [your] rest H4496: because it is polluted H2930 (8800), it shall destroy H2254 (8762) [you], even with a sore H4834 (8737) destruction H2256.
[11] If H3863 a man H376 walking H1980 (8802) in the spirit H7307 and falsehood H8267 do lie H3576 (8765), [saying], I will prophesy H5197 (8686) unto thee of wine H3196 and of strong drink H7941; he shall even be the prophet H5197 (8688) of this people H5971.
[12] I will surely H622 (8800) assemble H622 (8799), O Jacob H3290, all of thee; I will surely H6908 (8763) gather H6908 (8762) the remnant H7611 of Israel H3478; I will put H7760 (8799) them together H3162 as the sheep H6629 of Bozrah H1223 (8677) H1224, as the flock H5739 in the midst H8432 of their fold H1699: they shall make great noise H1949 (8686) by reason of [the multitude of] men H120.
[13] The breaker H6555 (8802) is come up H5927 (8804) before H6440 them: they have broken up H6555 (8804), and have passed through H5674 (8799) the gate H8179, and are gone out H3318 (8799) by it: and their king H4428 shall pass H5674 (8799) before H6440 them, and the LORD H3068 on the head H7218 of them.
Young’s Literal Translation
Micah 2 (YLT)
[1] Woe to those devising iniquity, And working evil on their beds, In the light of the morning they do it, For their hand is-to God.
[2] And they have desired fields, And they have taken violently, And houses, and they have taken away, And have oppressed a man and his house, Even a man and his inheritance.
[3] Therefore, thus said Jehovah: Lo, I am devising against this family evil, From which ye do not remove your necks, Nor walk loftily, for a time of evil it is.
[4] In that day doth one take up for you a simile, And he hath wailed a wailing of woe, He hath said, We have been utterly spoiled, The portion of my people He doth change, How doth He move toward me! To the backslider our fields He apportioneth.
[5] Therefore, thou hast no caster of a line by lot In the assembly of Jehovah.
[6] Ye do not prophesy-they do prophesy, They do not prophesy to these, It doth not remove shame.
[7] Doth the house of Jacob say, ‘Hath the Spirit of Jehovah been shortened? Are these His doings?’ Do not My words benefit the people that is walking uprightly?
[8] And yesterday My people for an enemy doth raise himself up, From the outer garment the honourable ornament ye strip off, From the confident passers by, Ye who are turning back from war.
[9] The women of My people ye cast out from its delightful house, From its sucklings ye take away My honour to the age.
[10] Rise and go, for this is not the rest, Because of uncleanness it doth corrupt, And corruption is powerful.
[11] If one is going with the wind, And with falsehood hath lied: ‘I prophesy to thee of wine, and of strong drink,’ He hath been the prophet of this people!
[12] I do surely gather thee, O Jacob, all of thee, I surely bring together the remnant of Israel, Together I do set it as the flock of Bozrah, As a drove in the midst of its pasture, It maketh a noise because of man.
[13] Gone up hath the breaker before them, They have broken through, Yea, they pass through the gate, Yea, they go out through it, And pass on doth their king before them, And Jehovah at their head!
