You went to the king with oil, increased your perfumes, sent your ambassadors far off, and degraded yourself even to Sheol.°

Isaiah 57:9 Sheol is the place of the dead.

“Isn’t this the fast that I have chosen: to release the bonds of wickedness, to undo the straps of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every yoke?

τοτε βοηση και ο θεος εισακουσεται σου ετι λαλουντος σου ερει ιδου παρειμι εαν αφελης απο σου συνδεσμον και χειροτονιαν και ρημα γογγυσμου

The Lord Yahweh’s Spirit is on me, because Yahweh has anointed me to preach good news to the humble. He has sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and release to those who are bound,^‡

Then Yahweh stretched out his hand and touched my mouth. Then Yahweh said to me, “Behold, I have put my words in your mouth.
