The Spirit lifted me up, and brought me in the vision by the Spirit of God into Chaldea, to the captives. So the vision that I had seen went up from me.

“Therefore, you son of man, prepare your baggage for moving, and move by day in their sight. You shall move from your place to another place in their sight. It may be they will consider, though they are a rebellious house.

The Lord Yahweh says, “Woe to the foolish prophets, who follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!

“My hand will be against the prophets who see false visions and who utter lying divinations. Then you will know that I am the Lord Yahweh.”

δια τουτο ψευδη ου μη ιδητε και μαντειας ου μη μαντευσησθε ετι και ρυσομαι τον λαον μου εκ χειρος υμων και γνωσεσθε οτι εγω κυριος

Yet, behold, there will be left a remnant in it that will be carried out, both sons and daughters. Behold, they will come out to you, and you will see their way and their doings. Then you will be comforted concerning the evil that I have brought on Jerusalem, even concerning all that I have brought on it.

“‘“Now when I passed by you, and looked at you, behold, your time was the time of love; and I spread my garment over you and covered your nakedness. Yes, I pledged myself to you and entered into a covenant with you,” says the Lord Yahweh, “and you became mine.
