Yahweh’s hand was on me, and he brought me out in Yahweh’s Spirit, and set me down in the middle of the valley; and it was full of bones.

There hath been upon me a hand of Jehovah, and He taketh me forth in the Spirit of Jehovah, and doth place me in the midst of the valley, and it is full of bones,

The Lord Yahweh says to these bones: “Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and you will live.

Thus saith H559 (QalPerf) the Lord H136 God H3069 unto these bones; H6106 Behold, I will cause breath H7307 to enter H935 (HiphPtc) into you, and ye shall live: H2421 (QalPerf)

Thus said the Lord Jehovah to these bones: Lo, I am bringing into you a spirit, and ye have lived,

I will lay sinews on you, and will bring up flesh on you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and you will live. Then you will know that I am Yahweh.” ’ ”

And I will lay H5414 (QalPerf) sinews H1517 upon you, and will bring up H5927 (HiphPerf) flesh H1320 upon you, and cover H7159 (QalPerf) you with skin, H5785 and put H5414 (QalPerf) breath H7307 in you, and ye shall live; H2421 (QalPerf) and ye shall know H3045 (QalPerf) that I [am] the Lord. H3068

and I have given on you sinews, and cause flesh to come up upon you, and covered you over with skin, and given in you a spirit, and ye have lived, and ye have known that I am Jehovah.’

I saw, and, behold, there were sinews on them, and flesh came up, and skin covered them above; but there was no breath in them.

And when I beheld, H7200 (QalPerf) lo, the sinews H1517 and the flesh H1320 came up H5927 (QalPerf) upon them, and the skin H5785 covered H7159 (QalImpf) them above: H4605 but [there was] no breath H7307 in them.

And I beheld, and lo, on them are sinews, and flesh hath come up, and cover them doth skin over above-and spirit there is none in them.

Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the wind, prophesy, son of man, and tell the wind, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “Come from the four winds, breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.” ’ ”

And He saith unto me: ‘Prophesy unto the Spirit, prophesy, son of man, and thou hast said unto the Spirit: Thus said the Lord Jehovah: From the four winds come in, O Spirit, and breathe on these slain, and they do live.’

So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up on their feet, an exceedingly great army.

And I have prophesied as He commanded me, and the Spirit cometh into them, and they live, and stand on their feet-a very very great force.

I will put my Spirit in you, and you will live. Then I will place you in your own land; and you will know that I, Yahweh, have spoken it and performed it,” says Yahweh.’ ”

And shall put H5414 (QalPerf) my spirit H7307 in you, and ye shall live, H2421 (QalPerf) and I shall place H3240 (HiphPerf) you in your own land: H127 then shall ye know H3045 (QalPerf) that I the Lord H3068 have spoken H1696 (PielPerf) [it], and performed H6213 (QalPerf) [it], saith H5002 (QalPasPtc) the Lord. And I have given My Spirit in you, and ye have lived, And I have caused you to rest on your land, And ye have known that I Jehovah, I have spoken, and I have done it, An affirmation of Jehovah.’

I won’t hide my face from them any more, for I have poured out my Spirit on the house of Israel,’ says the Lord Yahweh.”

Neither will I hide H5641 (HiphImpf) my face H6440 any more from them: for I have poured out H8210 (QalPerf) my spirit H7307 upon the house H1004 of Israel, H3478 saith H5002 (QalPasPtc) the Lord H136 God. H3069

And I hide not any more My face from them, In that I have poured out My spirit on the house of Israel, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah!’

He measured on the east side with the measuring reed five hundred reeds, with the measuring reed all around.

He hath measured the east side with the measuring-reed, five hundred reeds, with the measuring-reed round about.

He measured on the north side five hundred reeds with the measuring reed all around.

He hath measured the north side, five hundred reeds, with the measuring reed round about.

He measured it on the four sides. It had a wall around it, the length five hundred cubits, and the width five hundred cubits, to make a separation between that which was holy and that which was common.

At the four sides he hath measured it, a wall is to it all round about, the length five hundred, and the breadth five hundred, to separate between the holy and the profane place.

The Spirit took me up and brought me into the inner court; and behold, Yahweh’s glory filled the house.

So the spirit H7307 took me up, H5375 (QalImpf) and brought H935 (HiphImpf) me into the inner H6442 court; H2691 and, behold, the glory H3519 of the Lord H3068 filled H4390 (QalPerf) the house. H1004

And take me up doth the Spirit, and bringeth me in unto the inner court, and lo, the honour of Jehovah hath filled the house.

In the second year of the reign of Nebuchadnezzar, Nebuchadnezzar dreamed dreams; and his spirit was troubled, and his sleep went from him.

The male goat magnified himself exceedingly. When he was strong, the great horn was broken; and instead of it there came up four notable horns toward the four winds of the sky.

‘And the young he-goat hath exerted itself very much, and when it is strong, broken hath been the great horn; and come up doth a vision of four in its place, at the four winds of the heavens.

When he stands up, his kingdom will be broken and will be divided toward the four winds of the sky, but not to his posterity, nor according to his dominion with which he ruled; for his kingdom will be plucked up, even for others besides these.

and according to his standing is his kingdom broken, and divided to the four winds of the heavens, and not to his posterity, nor according to his dominion that he ruled, for his kingdom is plucked up-and for others apart from these.

My people consult with their wooden idol, and answer to a stick of wood. Indeed the spirit of prostitution has led them astray, and they have been unfaithful to their God.

My people H5971 ask H7592 (QalImpf) counsel at their stocks, H6086 and their staff H4731 declareth H5046 (HiphImpf) unto them: for the spirit H7307 of whoredoms H2183 hath caused [them] to err, H8582 (HiphPerf) and they have gone a whoring H2181 (QalImpf) from under their God. H430

My people at its staff asketh and its rod declareth to it, For a spirit of whoredoms hath caused to err, And they go a-whoring from under their God.

The wind has wrapped her up in its wings; and they shall be disappointed because of their sacrifices.

The wind H7307 hath bound her up H6887 (QalPerf) in her wings, H3671 and they shall be ashamed H954 (QalImpf) because of their sacrifices. H2077

Distressed her hath wind with its wings, And they are ashamed of their sacrifices!

Their deeds won’t allow them to turn to their God, for the spirit of prostitution is within them, and they don’t know Yahweh.

They will not frame H5414 (QalImpf) their doings H4611 to turn H7725 (QalInf) unto their God: H430 for the spirit H7307 of whoredoms H2183 [is] in the midst H7130 of them, and they have not known H3045 (QalPerf) the Lord. H3068

They give not up their habitual doings, To turn back unto their God, For a spirit of whoredoms is in their midst, And Jehovah they have not known.

For they sow the wind, and they will reap the whirlwind. He has no standing grain. The stalk will yield no head. If it does yield, strangers will swallow it up.

For they have sown H2232 (QalImpf) the wind, H7307 and they shall reap H7114 (QalImpf) the whirlwind: H5492 it hath no stalk: H7054 the bud H6780 shall yield H6213 (QalImpf) no meal: H7058 if H194 so be it yield, H6213 (QalImpf) the strangers H2114 (QalPtc) shall swallow it up. H1104 (QalImpf)

For wind they sow, and a hurricane they reap, Stalk it hath none-a shoot not yielding grain, If so be it yield-strangers do swallow it up.

The days of visitation have come. The days of reckoning have come. Israel will consider the prophet to be a fool, and the man who is inspired to be insane, because of the abundance of your sins, and because your hostility is great.

Come in have the days of inspection, Come in have the days of recompence, Israel doth know! a fool is the prophet, Mad is the man of the Spirit, Because of the abundance of thine iniquity, And great is the hatred.

Ephraim feeds on wind, and chases the east wind. He continually multiplies lies and desolation. They make a covenant with Assyria, and oil is carried into Egypt.

Ephraim H669 feedeth H7462 (QalActPtc) on wind, H7307 and followeth H7291 (QalActPtc) after the east wind: H6921 he daily H3117 increaseth H7235 (HiphImpf) lies H3577 and desolation; H7701 and they do make H3772 (QalImpf) a covenant H1285 with the Assyrians, H804 and oil H8081 is carried H2986 (HophImpf) into Egypt. Ephraim is enjoying wind, And is pursuing an east wind, All the day lying and spoiling he multiplieth, And a covenant with Asshur they make, And oil to Egypt is carried.

Though he is fruitful among his brothers, an east wind will come, the breath of Yahweh coming up from the wilderness; and his spring will become dry, and his fountain will be dried up. He will plunder the storehouse of treasure.

Though he among brethren produceth fruit, Come in doth an east wind, a wind of Jehovah, From a wilderness it is coming up, And it drieth up his fountain, And become dry doth his spring, It-it spoileth a treasure-every desirable vessel.

“It will happen afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; and your sons and your daughters will prophesy. Your old men will dream dreams. Your young men will see visions.

For, lo, the former of mountains, and creator of wind, And the declarer to man what is His thought, He is making dawn obscurity, And is treading on high places of earth, Jehovah, God of Hosts, is His name!

But Yahweh sent out a great wind on the sea, and there was a mighty storm on the sea, so that the ship was likely to break up.

And Jehovah hath cast a great wind on the sea, and there is a great tempest in the sea, and the ship hath reckoned to be broken;

When the sun arose, God prepared a sultry east wind; and the sun beat on Jonah’s head, so that he was faint and requested for himself that he might die. He said, “It is better for me to die than to live.”

And it cometh to pass, about the rising of the sun, that God appointeth a cutting east wind, and the sun smiteth on the head of Jonah, and he wrappeth himself up, and asketh his soul to die, and saith, ‘Better is my death than my life.’

Shall it be said, O house of Jacob, “Is Yahweh’s Spirit angry? Are these his doings? Don’t my words do good to him who walks blamelessly?”

Doth the house of Jacob say, ‘Hath the Spirit of Jehovah been shortened? Are these His doings?’ Do not My words benefit the people that is walking uprightly?

If a man walking in a spirit of falsehood lies, saying, “I will prophesy to you of wine and of strong drink,” he would be the prophet of this people.

If one is going with the wind, And with falsehood hath lied: ‘I prophesy to thee of wine, and of strong drink,’ He hath been the prophet of this people!

But as for me, I am full of power by Yahweh’s Spirit, and of judgment, and of might, to declare to Jacob his disobedience, and to Israel his sin.

But truly H199 I am full H4390 (QalPerf) of power H3581 by the spirit H7307 of the Lord, H3068 and of judgment, H4941 and of might, H1369 to declare H5046 (HiphInf) unto Jacob H3290 his transgression, H6588 and to Israel H3478 his sin. H2403

And yet I have been full of power by the Spirit of Jehovah, And of judgment, and of might, To declare to Jacob his transgression, And to Israel his sin.

Then they sweep by like the wind and go on. They are indeed guilty, whose strength is their god.”

Then shall [his] mind H7307 change, H2498 (QalPerf) and he shall pass over, H5674 (QalImpf) and offend, H816 (QalPerf) [imputing] this H2098 his power H3581 unto his god. H433

Then passed on hath the spirit, Yea, he doth transgress, And doth ascribe this his power to his god.

Woe to him who says to the wood, ‘Awake!’ or to the mute stone, ‘Arise!’ Shall this teach? Behold, it is overlaid with gold and silver, and there is no breath at all within it.

Woe to him who is saying to wood, ‘Awake,’ ‘Stir up,’ to a dumb stone, It a teacher! lo, it is overlaid-gold and silver, And there is no spirit in its midst.

Yahweh stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and the spirit of all the remnant of the people; and they came and worked on the house of Yahweh of Armies, their God,

And Jehovah doth stir up the spirit of Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua son of Josedech, the high priest, and the spirit of all the remnant of the people, and they come in, and do work in the house of Jehovah of Hosts their God,

This is the word that I covenanted with you when you came out of Egypt, and my Spirit lived among you. ‘Don’t be afraid.’

The thing that I covenanted with you, In your coming forth from Egypt, And My Spirit is remaining in your midst, fear not.

Come! Come! Flee from the land of the north,’ says Yahweh; ‘for I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the sky,’ says Yahweh.

Then he answered and spoke to me, saying, “This is Yahweh’s word to Zerubbabel, saying, ‘Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says Yahweh of Armies.

And he answereth and speaketh unto me, saying: ‘This is a word of Jehovah unto Zerubbabel, saying: Not by a force, nor by power, But-by My Spirit, said Jehovah of Hosts.

Then I lifted up my eyes and saw, and behold, there were two women; and the wind was in their wings. Now they had wings like the wings of a stork, and they lifted up the ephah basket between earth and the sky.

The angel answered me, “These are the four winds of the sky, which go out from standing before the Lord of all the earth.

Then he called to me, and spoke to me, saying, “Behold, those who go toward the north country have quieted my spirit in the north country.”

And he calleth me, and speaketh unto me, saying, ‘See, those coming forth unto the land of the north have caused My Spirit to rest in the land of the north.’

Yes, they made their hearts as hard as flint, lest they might hear the law and the words which Yahweh of Armies had sent by his Spirit by the former prophets. Therefore great wrath came from Yahweh of Armies.

And their heart they have made adamant, Against hearing the law, and the words, That Jehovah of Hosts sent by His Spirit, By the hand of the former prophets, And their is great wrath from Jehovah of Hosts.

A revelation of Yahweh’s word concerning Israel: Yahweh, who stretches out the heavens and lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him says:

The burden H4853 of the word H1697 of the Lord H3068 for Israel, H3478 saith H5002 (QalPasPtc) the Lord, H3068 which stretcheth H5186 (QalActPtc) forth the heavens, H8064 and layeth the foundation H3245 (QalPtc) of the earth, H776 and formeth H3335 (QalActPtc) the spirit H7307 of man H120 within H7130 him.

The burden of a word of Jehovah on Israel. An affirmation of Jehovah, Stretching out heaven, and founding earth, And forming the spirit of man in his midst.

I will pour on David’s house and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the spirit of grace and of supplication. They will look to me^§ whom they have pierced; and they shall mourn for him as one mourns for his only son, and will grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for his firstborn.

And it hath come to pass, in that day, An affirmation of Jehovah of Hosts, I cut off the names of the idols from the land, And they are not remembered any more, And also the prophets and the spirit of uncleanness I cause to pass away from the land.

Did he not make you one, although he had the residue of the Spirit? Why one? He sought godly offspring. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let no one deal treacherously against the wife of his youth.

And He did not make one only, And He hath the remnant of the Spirit. And what is the one alone! He is seeking a godly seed. And ye have been watchful over your spirit, And with the wife of thy youth, None doth deal treacherously.

One who hates and divorces”, says Yahweh, the God of Israel, “covers his garment with violence!” says Yahweh of Armies. “Therefore pay attention to your spirit, that you don’t be unfaithful.

For I hate sending away, said Jehovah, God of Israel, And He who hath covered violence with his clothing, said Jehovah of Hosts, And ye have been watchful over your spirit, And ye do not deal treacherously.
