^[21:26] διοτι στησεται βασιλευς βαβυλωνος επι την αρχαιαν οδον επ αρχης των δυο οδων του μαντευσασθαι μαντειαν του αναβρασαι ραβδον και επερωτησαι εν τοις γλυπτοις και ηπατοσκοπησασθαι εκ δεξιων αυτου

You will be for fuel to the fire. Your blood will be in the middle of the land. You will be remembered no more; for I, Yahweh, have spoken it.”’”

Thou shalt be for fuel H402 to the fire; H784 thy blood H1818 shall be in the midst H8432 of the land; H776 thou shalt be no more remembered: H2142 (NiphImpf) for I the Lord H3068 have spoken H1696 (PielPerf) it.

^[21:37] εν πυρι εση καταβρωμα το αιμα σου εσται εν μεσω της γης σου ου μη γενηται σου μνεια διοτι εγω κυριος λελαληκα

You will be profaned in yourself in the sight of the nations. Then you will know that I am Yahweh.”’”

Ezekiel 22:16 Or, shalt be prophaned

και κατακληρονομησω εν σοι κατ οφθαλμους των εθνων και γνωσεσθε διοτι εγω κυριος

As silver is melted in the middle of the furnace, so you will be melted in the middle of it; and you will know that I, Yahweh, have poured out my wrath on you.’”

As silver H3701 is melted H2046 in the midst H8432 of the furnace, H3564 so shall ye be melted H5413 (HophImpf) in the midst H8432 thereof; and ye shall know H3045 (QalPerf) that I the Lord H3068 have poured out H8210 (QalPerf) my fury H2534 upon you.

ον τροπον χωνευεται αργυριον εν μεσω καμινου ουτως χωνευθησεσθε εν μεσω αυτης και επιγνωσεσθε διοτι εγω κυριος εξεχεα τον θυμον μου εφ υμας

I saw that she was defiled. They both went the same way.

You will even drink it and drain it out. You will gnaw the broken pieces of it, and will tear your breasts; for I have spoken it,’ says the Lord Yahweh.

και οτι τοις ανδρασιν τοις ερχομενοις μακροθεν οις αγγελους εξαπεστελλοσαν προς αυτους και αμα τω ερχεσθαι αυτους ευθυς ελουου και εστιβιζου τους οφθαλμους σου και εκοσμου κοσμω

Righteous men will judge them with the judgment of adulteresses and with the judgment of women who shed blood, because they are adulteresses, and blood is in their hands.

And the righteous H6662 men, H582 they shall judge H8199 (QalImpf) them after the manner H4941 of adulteresses, H5003 (QalActPtc) and after the manner H4941 of women that shed H8210 (QalActPtc) blood; H1818 because they are adulteresses, H5003 (QalActPtc) and blood H1818 is in their hands. H3027

και ανδρες δικαιοι αυτοι εκδικησουσιν αυτας εκδικησει μοιχαλιδος και εκδικησει αιματος οτι μοιχαλιδες εισιν και αιμα εν χερσιν αυτων

“For the Lord Yahweh says: ‘I will bring up a mob against them, and will give them to be tossed back and forth and robbed.

Ezekiel 23:46 Heb. for a removing and spoil

ταδε λεγει κυριος κυριος αναγαγε επ αυτας οχλον και δος εν αυταις ταραχην και διαρπαγην

They will recompense your lewdness on you, and you will bear the sins of your idols. Then you will know that I am the Lord Yahweh.’”

The people asked me, “Won’t you tell us what these things mean to us, that you act like this?”
