In the ninth year of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the tenth month, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and all his army came against Jerusalem, and besieged it.

^[46:1] και εγενετο εν τω ετει τω ενατω του σεδεκια βασιλεως ιουδα εν τω μηνι τω δεκατω παρεγενετο ναβουχοδονοσορ βασιλευς βαβυλωνος και πασα η δυναμις αυτου επι ιερουσαλημ και επολιορκουν αυτην

Take for yourself an iron pan and set it for a wall of iron between you and the city. Then set your face toward it. It will be besieged, and you shall lay siege against it. This shall be a sign to the house of Israel.

Moreover take H3947 (QalImpv) thou unto thee an iron H1270 pan,^§ H4227 and set H5414 (QalPerf) it for a wall H7023 of iron H1270 between thee and the city: H5892 and set H3559 (HiphPerf) thy face H6440 against it, and it shall be besieged, H4692 and thou shalt lay siege H6696 (QalPerf) against it.
