και εξετεινεν ομοιωμα χειρος και ανελαβεν με της κορυφης μου και ανελαβεν με πνευμα ανα μεσον της γης και ανα μεσον του ουρανου και ηγαγεν με εις ιερουσαλημ εν ορασει θεου επι τα προθυρα της πυλης της εσωτερας της βλεπουσης προς βορραν ου ην η στηλη του κτωμενου

Then he said to me, “Son of man, have you seen what the elders of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in his rooms of imagery? For they say, ‘Yahweh doesn’t see us. Yahweh has forsaken the land.’ ”

και ειπεν προς με υιε ανθρωπου εωρακας α οι πρεσβυτεροι του οικου ισραηλ ποιουσιν εκαστος αυτων εν τω κοιτωνι τω κρυπτω αυτων διοτι ειπαν ουχ ορα ο κυριος εγκαταλελοιπεν κυριος την γην

Then he said to me, “Have you seen this, son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? For they have filled the land with violence, and have turned again to provoke me to anger. Behold, they put the branch to their nose.

και ειπεν προς με εωρακας υιε ανθρωπου μη μικρα τω οικω ιουδα του ποιειν τας ανομιας ας πεποιηκασιν ωδε διοτι επλησαν την γην ανομιας και ιδου αυτοι ως μυκτηριζοντες

Then he said to me, “The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceedingly great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of perversion; for they say, ‘Yahweh has forsaken the land, and Yahweh doesn’t see.’

“Son of man, your brothers, even your brothers, the men of your relatives, and all the house of Israel, all of them, are the ones to whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem have said, ‘Go far away from Yahweh. This land has been given to us for a possession.’

“Therefore say, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “Whereas I have removed them far off among the nations, and whereas I have scattered them among the countries, yet I will be to them a sanctuary for a little while in the countries where they have come.” ’

δια τουτο ειπον ταδε λεγει κυριος οτι απωσομαι αυτους εις τα εθνη και διασκορπιω αυτους εις πασαν την γην και εσομαι αυτοις εις αγιασμα μικρον εν ταις χωραις ου αν εισελθωσιν εκει

“Therefore say, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “I will gather you from the peoples, and assemble you out of the countries where you have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.”

και ο αρχων εν μεσω αυτων επ ωμων αρθησεται και κεκρυμμενος εξελευσεται δια του τοιχου και διορυξει του εξελθειν αυτον δι αυτου το προσωπον αυτου συγκαλυψει οπως μη οραθη οφθαλμω και αυτος την γην ουκ οψεται

I will also spread my net on him, and he will be taken in my snare. I will bring him to Babylon to the land of the Chaldeans; yet he will not see it, though he will die there.
