αρματα φαραω και την δυναμιν αυτου ερριψεν εις θαλασσαν επιλεκτους αναβατας τριστατας κατεποντισεν εν ερυθρα θαλασση

Then he cried to Yahweh. Yahweh showed him a tree, and he threw it into the waters, and the waters were made sweet. There he made a statute and an ordinance for them, and there he tested them.

Yahweh said to Moses, “Come up to me on the mountain, and stay here, and I will give you the stone tablets with the law and the commands that I have written, that you may teach them.”

According to the decisions of the law which they shall teach you, and according to the judgment which they shall tell you, you shall do. You shall not turn away from the sentence which they announce to you, to the right hand, nor to the left.

Be careful in the plague of leprosy, that you observe diligently and do according to all that the Levitical priests teach you. As I commanded them, so you shall observe to do.

δηλωσουσιν τα δικαιωματα σου τω ιακωβ και τον νομον σου τω ισραηλ επιθησουσιν θυμιαμα εν οργη σου δια παντος επι το θυσιαστηριον σου

You shall survey the land into seven parts, and bring the description here to me; and I will cast lots for you here before Yahweh our God.

Moreover, as for me, far be it from me that I should sin against Yahweh in ceasing to pray for you; but I will instruct you in the good and the right way.

και ετοξευσαν οι τοξευοντες προς τους παιδας σου απανωθεν του τειχους και απεθαναν των παιδων του βασιλεως και γε ο δουλος σου ουριας ο χετταιος απεθανεν

then hear in heaven, and forgive the sin of your servants, and of your people Israel, when you teach them the good way in which they should walk; and send rain on your land which you have given to your people for an inheritance.

Jehoash did that which was right in Yahweh’s eyes all his days in which Jehoiada the priest instructed him.

εκδιηγησαι δε γη εαν σοι φραση και εξηγησονται σοι οι ιχθυες της θαλασσης

I will teach you about the hand of God. I will not conceal that which is with the Almighty.

αλλα δη αναγγελω υμιν τι εστιν εν χειρι κυριου α εστιν παρα παντοκρατορι ου ψευσομαι

He has cast me into the mire. I have become like dust and ashes.

ηγησαι δε με ισα πηλω εν γη και σποδω μου η μερις

Teach me that which I don’t see. If I have done iniquity, I will do it no more’?

ανευ εμαυτου οψομαι συ δειξον μοι ει αδικιαν ηργασαμην ου μη προσθησω

Behold, God is exalted in his power. Who is a teacher like him?

ιδου ο ισχυρος κραταιωσει εν ισχυι αυτου τις γαρ εστιν κατ αυτον δυναστης

What were its foundations fastened on? Or who laid its cornerstone,

Good and upright is Yahweh, therefore he will instruct sinners in the way.

^[24:8] χρηστος και ευθης ο κυριος δια τουτο νομοθετησει αμαρτανοντας εν οδω

What man is he who fears Yahweh? He shall instruct him in the way that he shall choose.

Teach me your way, Yahweh. Lead me in a straight path, because of my enemies.

^[26:11] νομοθετησον με κυριε τη οδω σου και οδηγησον με εν τριβω ευθεια ενεκα των εχθρων μου

I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you.
