Is anything too hard for Yahweh? At the set time I will return to you, when the season comes around, and Sarah will have a son.”

μη αδυνατει παρα τω θεω ρημα εις τον καιρον τουτον αναστρεψω προς σε εις ωρας και εσται τη σαρρα υιος

Sarah conceived, and bore Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.

και συλλαβουσα ετεκεν σαρρα τω αβρααμ υιον εις το γηρας εις τον καιρον καθα ελαλησεν αυτω κυριος

Yahweh appointed a set time, saying, “Tomorrow Yahweh shall do this thing in the land.”

την εορτην των αζυμων φυλαξασθε ποιειν επτα ημερας εδεσθε αζυμα καθαπερ ενετειλαμην σοι κατα τον καιρον του μηνος των νεων εν γαρ αυτω εξηλθες εξ αιγυπτου ουκ οφθηση ενωπιον μου κενος

In the Tent of Meeting, outside the veil which is before the covenant, Aaron and his sons shall keep it in order from evening to morning before Yahweh: it shall be a statute forever throughout their generations on the behalf of the children of Israel.

They shall be on Aaron and on his sons, when they go in to the Tent of Meeting, or when they come near to the altar to minister in the holy place, that they don’t bear iniquity, and die. This shall be a statute forever to him and to his offspring after him.

You shall bring Aaron and his sons to the door of the Tent of Meeting, and shall wash them with water.

And Aaron H175 and his sons H1121 thou shalt bring H7126 (HiphImpf) unto the door H6607 of the tabernacle H168 of the congregation, H4150 and shalt wash H7364 (QalPerf) them with water. H4325

“You shall bring the bull before the Tent of Meeting; and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands on the head of the bull.

You shall kill the bull before Yahweh at the door of the Tent of Meeting.

Seven days shall the son who is priest in his place put them on, when he comes into the Tent of Meeting to minister in the holy place.

Aaron and his sons shall eat the meat of the ram, and the bread that is in the basket, at the door of the Tent of Meeting.

And Aaron H175 and his sons H1121 shall eat H398 (QalPerf) the flesh H1320 of the ram, H352 and the bread H3899 that [is] in the basket, H5536 [by] the door H6607 of the tabernacle H168 of the congregation. H4150

και εδονται ααρων και οι υιοι αυτου τα κρεα του κριου και τους αρτους τους εν τω κανω παρα τας θυρας της σκηνης του μαρτυριου

It shall be a continual burnt offering throughout your generations at the door of the Tent of Meeting before Yahweh, where I will meet with you, to speak there to you.

[This shall be] a continual H8548 burnt offering H5930 throughout your generations H1755 [at] the door H6607 of the tabernacle H168 of the congregation H4150 before H6440 the Lord: H3068 where I will meet H3259 (NiphImpf) you, to speak H1696 (PielInf) there unto thee.

θυσιαν ενδελεχισμου εις γενεας υμων επι θυρας της σκηνης του μαρτυριου εναντι κυριου εν οις γνωσθησομαι σοι εκειθεν ωστε λαλησαι σοι

I will sanctify the Tent of Meeting and the altar. I will also sanctify Aaron and his sons to minister to me in the priest’s office.

And I will sanctify H6942 (PielPerf) the tabernacle H168 of the congregation, H4150 and the altar: H4196 I will sanctify H6942 (PielImpf) also both Aaron H175 and his sons, H1121 to minister to me in the priest’s office. H3547 (PielInf)

You shall take the atonement money from the children of Israel, and shall appoint it for the service of the Tent of Meeting; that it may be a memorial for the children of Israel before Yahweh, to make atonement for your souls.”

“You shall also make a basin of bronze, and its base of bronze, in which to wash. You shall put it between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and you shall put water in it.

Thou shalt also make H6213 (QalPerf) a laver H3595 [of] brass, H5178 and his foot H3653 [also of] brass, H5178 to wash H7364 (QalInf) [withal]: and thou shalt put H5414 (QalPerf) it between the tabernacle H168 of the congregation H4150 and the altar, H4196 and thou shalt put H5414 (QalPerf) water H4325 therein.

When they go into the Tent of Meeting, they shall wash with water, that they not die; or when they come near to the altar to minister, to burn an offering made by fire to Yahweh.

You shall use it to anoint the Tent of Meeting, the ark of the covenant,

Now Moses used to take the tent and pitch it outside the camp, far away from the camp, and he called it “The Tent of Meeting.” Everyone who sought Yahweh went out to the Tent of Meeting, which was outside the camp.

He made the basin of bronze, and its base of bronze, out of the mirrors of the ministering women who ministered at the door of the Tent of Meeting.

^[38:26] ουτος εποιησεν τον λουτηρα χαλκουν και την βασιν αυτου χαλκην εκ των κατοπτρων των νηστευσασων αι ενηστευσαν παρα τας θυρας της σκηνης του μαρτυριου εν η ημερα επηξεν αυτην

With this he made the sockets to the door of the Tent of Meeting, the bronze altar, the bronze grating for it, all the vessels of the altar,

And therewith he made H6213 (QalImpf) the sockets H134 to the door H6607 of the tabernacle H168 of the congregation, H4150 and the brasen H5178 altar, H4196 and the brasen H5178 grate H4345 for it, and all the vessels H3627 of the altar, H4196

^[39:7] και εποιησεν εξ αυτου τας βασεις της θυρας της σκηνης του μαρτυριου

Thus all the work of the tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting was finished. The children of Israel did according to all that Yahweh commanded Moses; so they did.

Thus was all the work H5656 of the tabernacle H4908 of the tent H168 of the congregation H4150 finished: H3615 (QalImpf) and the children H1121 of Israel H3478 did H6213 (QalImpf) according to all that the Lord H3068 commanded H6680 (PielPerf) Moses, H4872 so did H6213 (QalPerf) they.

^[39:19] και τα ιστια της αυλης και τους στυλους και το καταπετασμα της θυρας της σκηνης και της πυλης της αυλης και παντα τα σκευη της σκηνης και παντα τα εργαλεια αυτης ^[39:21] και τους πασσαλους και παντα τα εργαλεια τα εις τα εργα της σκηνης του μαρτυριου

“On the first day of the first month you shall raise up the tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting.

On the first H7223 day H3117 of the first H259 month H2320 shalt thou set up H6965 (HiphImpf) the tabernacle H4908 of the tent H168 of the congregation. H4150

εν ημερα μια του μηνος του πρωτου νουμηνια στησεις την σκηνην του μαρτυριου

“You shall set the altar of burnt offering before the door of the tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting.

And thou shalt set H5414 (QalPerf) the altar H4196 of the burnt offering H5930 before H6440 the door H6607 of the tabernacle H4908 of the tent H168 of the congregation. H4150

και το θυσιαστηριον των καρπωματων θησεις παρα τας θυρας της σκηνης του μαρτυριου

You shall set the basin between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and shall put water therein.

And thou shalt set H5414 (QalPerf) the laver H3595 between the tent H168 of the congregation H4150 and the altar, H4196 and shalt put H5414 (QalPerf) water H4325 therein.

“You shall bring Aaron and his sons to the door of the Tent of Meeting, and shall wash them with water.

And thou shalt bring H7126 (HiphPerf) Aaron H175 and his sons H1121 unto the door H6607 of the tabernacle H168 of the congregation, H4150 and wash H7364 (QalPerf) them with water. H4325

He put the table in the Tent of Meeting, on the north side of the tabernacle, outside of the veil.

He put the lamp stand in the Tent of Meeting, opposite the table, on the south side of the tabernacle.

And he put H7760 (QalImpf) the candlestick H4501 in the tent H168 of the congregation, H4150 over against H5227 the table, H7979 on the side H3409 of the tabernacle H4908 southward. H5045

He put the golden altar in the Tent of Meeting before the veil;

και εθηκεν το θυσιαστηριον το χρυσουν εν τη σκηνη του μαρτυριου απεναντι του καταπετασματος

He set the altar of burnt offering at the door of the tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting, and offered on it the burnt offering and the meal offering, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

And he put H7760 (QalPerf) the altar H4196 of burnt offering H5930 [by] the door H6607 of the tabernacle H4908 of the tent H168 of the congregation, H4150 and offered H5927 (HiphImpf) upon it the burnt offering H5930 and the meat offering; H4503 as the Lord H3068 commanded H6680 (PielPerf) Moses. He set the basin between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and put water therein, with which to wash.

^[38:27] και εποιησεν τον λουτηρα ινα νιπτωνται εξ αυτου μωυσης και ααρων και οι υιοι αυτου τας χειρας αυτων και τους ποδας εισπορευομενων αυτων εις την σκηνην του μαρτυριου η οταν προσπορευωνται προς το θυσιαστηριον λειτουργειν ενιπτοντο εξ αυτου καθαπερ συνεταξεν κυριος τω μωυση

When they went into the Tent of Meeting, and when they came near to the altar, they washed, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

When they went H935 (QalInf) into the tent H168 of the congregation, H4150 and when they came near H7126 (QalInf) unto the altar, H4196 they washed; H7364 (QalImpf) as the Lord H3068 commanded H6680 (PielPerf) Moses. H4872

Then the cloud covered the Tent of Meeting, and Yahweh’s glory filled the tabernacle.

Then a cloud H6051 covered H3680 (PielImpf) the tent H168 of the congregation, H4150 and the glory H3519 of the Lord H3068 filled H4390 (QalPerf) the tabernacle. H4908

και εκαλυψεν η νεφελη την σκηνην του μαρτυριου και δοξης κυριου επλησθη η σκηνη

Moses wasn’t able to enter into the Tent of Meeting, because the cloud stayed on it, and Yahweh’s glory filled the tabernacle.

And Moses H4872 was not able H3201 (QalPerf) to enter H935 (QalInf) into the tent H168 of the congregation, H4150 because the cloud H6051 abode H7931 (QalPerf) thereon, and the glory H3519 of the Lord H3068 filled H4390 (QalPerf) the tabernacle. H4908

και ουκ ηδυνασθη μωυσης εισελθειν εις την σκηνην του μαρτυριου οτι επεσκιαζεν επ αυτην η νεφελη και δοξης κυριου επλησθη η σκηνη

Yahweh^§ called to Moses, and spoke to him from the Tent of Meeting, saying,

Leviticus 1:1 “Yahweh” is God’s proper Name, sometimes rendered “Lord” (all caps) in other translations.

And the Lord H3068 called H7121 (QalImpf) unto Moses, H4872 and spake H1696 (PielImpf) unto him out of the tabernacle H168 of the congregation, H4150 saying, H559 (QalInf)

και ανεκαλεσεν μωυσην και ελαλησεν κυριος αυτω εκ της σκηνης του μαρτυριου λεγων

“ ‘If his offering is a burnt offering from the herd, he shall offer a male without defect. He shall offer it at the door of the Tent of Meeting, that he may be accepted before Yahweh.

If his offering H7133 [be] a burnt sacrifice H5930 of the herd, H1241 let him offer H7126 (HiphImpf) a male H2145 without blemish: H8549 he shall offer H7126 (HiphImpf) it of his own voluntary will H7522 at the door H6607 of the tabernacle H168 of the congregation H4150 before H6440 the Lord. εαν ολοκαυτωμα το δωρον αυτου εκ των βοων αρσεν αμωμον προσαξει προς την θυραν της σκηνης του μαρτυριου προσοισει αυτο δεκτον εναντιον κυριου

He shall kill the bull before Yahweh. Aaron’s sons, the priests, shall present the blood and sprinkle the blood around on the altar that is at the door of the Tent of Meeting.

And he shall kill H7819 (QalPerf) the bullock H1121 H1241 before H6440 the Lord: H3068 and the priests, H3548 Aaron’s H175 sons, H1121 shall bring H7126 (HiphPerf) the blood, H1818 and sprinkle H2236 (QalPerf) the blood H1818 round about H5439 upon the altar H4196 that [is by] the door H6607 of the tabernacle H168 of the congregation. H4150

και σφαξουσι τον μοσχον εναντι κυριου και προσοισουσιν οι υιοι ααρων οι ιερεις το αιμα και προσχεουσιν το αιμα επι το θυσιαστηριον κυκλω το επι των θυρων της σκηνης του μαρτυριου

He shall lay his hand on the head of his offering, and kill it at the door of the Tent of Meeting. Aaron’s sons, the priests, shall sprinkle the blood around on the altar.

And he shall lay H5564 (QalPerf) his hand H3027 upon the head H7218 of his offering, H7133 and kill H7819 (QalPerf) it [at] the door H6607 of the tabernacle H168 of the congregation: H4150 and Aaron’s H175 sons H1121 the priests H3548 shall sprinkle H2236 (QalPerf) the blood H1818 upon the altar H4196 round about. H5439

και επιθησει τας χειρας επι την κεφαλην του δωρου και σφαξει αυτο παρα τας θυρας της σκηνης του μαρτυριου και προσχεουσιν οι υιοι ααρων οι ιερεις το αιμα επι το θυσιαστηριον των ολοκαυτωματων κυκλω

and he shall lay his hand on the head of his offering, and kill it before the Tent of Meeting. Aaron’s sons shall sprinkle its blood around on the altar.

And he shall lay H5564 (QalPerf) his hand H3027 upon the head H7218 of his offering, H7133 and kill H7819 (QalPerf) it before H6440 the tabernacle H168 of the congregation: H4150 and Aaron’s H175 sons H1121 shall sprinkle H2236 (QalPerf) the blood H1818 thereof round about H5439 upon the altar. H4196

He shall lay his hand on its head, and kill it before the Tent of Meeting; and the sons of Aaron shall sprinkle its blood around on the altar.

And he shall lay H5564 (QalPerf) his hand H3027 upon the head H7218 of it, and kill H7819 (QalPerf) it before H6440 the tabernacle H168 of the congregation: H4150 and the sons H1121 of Aaron H175 shall sprinkle H2236 (QalPerf) the blood H1818 thereof upon the altar H4196 round about. H5439

και επιθησει τας χειρας επι την κεφαλην αυτου και σφαξουσιν αυτο εναντι κυριου παρα τας θυρας της σκηνης του μαρτυριου και προσχεουσιν οι υιοι ααρων οι ιερεις το αιμα επι το θυσιαστηριον κυκλω

He shall bring the bull to the door of the Tent of Meeting before Yahweh; and he shall lay his hand on the head of the bull, and kill the bull before Yahweh.

And he shall bring H935 (HiphPerf) the bullock H6499 unto the door H6607 of the tabernacle H168 of the congregation H4150 before H6440 the Lord; H3068 and shall lay H5564 (QalPerf) his hand H3027 upon the bullock’s H6499 head, H7218 and kill H7819 (QalPerf) the bullock H6499 before H6440 the Lord. H3068

και προσαξει τον μοσχον παρα την θυραν της σκηνης του μαρτυριου εναντι κυριου και επιθησει την χειρα αυτου επι την κεφαλην του μοσχου εναντι κυριου και σφαξει τον μοσχον ενωπιον κυριου

The anointed priest shall take some of the blood of the bull, and bring it to the Tent of Meeting.

And the priest H3548 that is anointed H4899 shall take H3947 (QalPerf) of the bullock’s H6499 blood, H1818 and bring H935 (HiphPerf) it to the tabernacle H168 of the congregation: H4150

και λαβων ο ιερευς ο χριστος ο τετελειωμενος τας χειρας απο του αιματος του μοσχου και εισοισει αυτο επι την σκηνην του μαρτυριου

The priest shall put some of the blood on the horns of the altar of sweet incense before Yahweh, which is in the Tent of Meeting; and he shall pour out the rest of the blood of the bull at the base of the altar of burnt offering, which is at the door of the Tent of Meeting.

And the priest H3548 shall put H5414 (QalPerf) [some] of the blood H1818 upon the horns H7161 of the altar H4196 of sweet H5561 incense H7004 before H6440 the Lord, H3068 which [is] in the tabernacle H168 of the congregation; H4150 and shall pour H8210 (QalImpf) all the blood H1818 of the bullock H6499 at the bottom H3247 of the altar H4196 of the burnt offering, H5930 which [is at] the door H6607 of the tabernacle H168 of the congregation. H4150

και επιθησει ο ιερευς απο του αιματος του μοσχου επι τα κερατα του θυσιαστηριου του θυμιαματος της συνθεσεως του εναντιον κυριου ο εστιν εν τη σκηνη του μαρτυριου και παν το αιμα του μοσχου εκχεει παρα την βασιν του θυσιαστηριου των ολοκαυτωματων ο εστιν παρα τας θυρας της σκηνης του μαρτυριου
