The king of Sodom said to Abram, “Give me the people, and take the goods for yourself.”

και ηλθεν ιωσαφατ και ο λαος αυτου σκυλευσαι τα σκυλα αυτων και ευρον κτηνη πολλα και αποσκευην και σκυλα και σκευη επιθυμητα και εσκυλευσαν εαυτοις και εγενοντο ημεραι τρεις σκυλευοντων αυτων τα σκυλα οτι πολλα ην

behold, Yahweh will strike your people with a great plague, including your children, your wives, and all your possessions;

and they came up against Judah, broke into it, and carried away all the possessions that were found in the king’s house, including his sons and his wives, so that there was no son left to him except Jehoahaz, the youngest of his sons.

και ανεβησαν επι ιουδαν και κατεδυναστευον και απεστρεψαν πασαν την αποσκευην ην ευρον εν οικω του βασιλεως και τους υιους αυτου και τας θυγατερας αυτου και ου κατελειφθη αυτω υιος αλλ η οχοζιας ο μικροτατος των υιων αυτου

Whoever is left, in any place where he lives, let the men of his place help him with silver, with gold, with goods, and with animals, in addition to the free will offering for God’s house which is in Jerusalem.’ ”

και πας ο καταλειπομενος απο παντων των τοπων ου αυτος παροικει εκει και λημψονται αυτον ανδρες του τοπου αυτου εν αργυριω και χρυσιω και αποσκευη και κτηνεσιν μετα του εκουσιου εις οικον του θεου του εν ιερουσαλημ

All those who were around them strengthened their hands with vessels of silver, with gold, with goods, with animals, and with precious things, in addition to all that was willingly offered.

και εκαλεσα εκει νηστειαν επι τον ποταμον αουε του ταπεινωθηναι ενωπιον θεου ημων ζητησαι παρ αυτου οδον ευθειαν ημιν και τοις τεκνοις ημων και παση τη κτησει ημων

and that whoever didn’t come within three days, according to the counsel of the princes and the elders, all his possessions should be forfeited, and he himself separated from the assembly of the captivity.

και πας ος αν μη ελθη εις τρεις ημερας ως η βουλη των αρχοντων και των πρεσβυτερων αναθεματισθησεται πασα η υπαρξις αυτου και αυτος διασταλησεται απο εκκλησιας της αποικιας

The king of the north will return, and will send out a multitude greater than the former. He will come on at the end of the times, even of years, with a great army and with abundant supplies.

και επιστρεψει βασιλευς του βορρα και αξει οχλον πολυν υπερ τον προτερον και εις το τελος των καιρων ενιαυτων επελευσεται εισοδια εν δυναμει μεγαλη και εν υπαρξει πολλη

In time of security he will come even on the fattest places of the province. He will do that which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers’ fathers. He will scatter among them prey, plunder, and wealth. Yes, he will devise his plans against the strongholds, but only for a time.

He shall enter H935 (QalImpf) peaceably H7962 even upon the fattest places H4924 of the province; H4082 and he shall do H6213 (QalPerf) [that] which his fathers H1 have not done, H6213 (QalPerf) nor his fathers’ H1 fathers; H1 he shall scatter H967 (QalImpf) among them the prey, H961 and spoil, H7998 and riches: H7399 [yea], and he shall forecast H2803 (PielImpf) his devices H4284 against the strong holds, H4013 even for a time. και εν ευθηνια και εν πιοσιν χωραις ηξει και ποιησει α ουκ εποιησαν οι πατερες αυτου και οι πατερες των πατερων αυτου προνομην και σκυλα και υπαρξιν αυτοις διασκορπιει και επ αιγυπτον λογιειται λογισμους αυτου και εως καιρου

Then he will return into his land with great wealth. His heart will be against the holy covenant. He will take action, and return to his own land.

Then shall he return H7725 (QalPerf) into his land H776 with great H1419 riches; H7399 and his heart H3824 [shall be] against the holy H6944 covenant; H1285 and he shall do H6213 (QalPerf) [exploits], and return H7725 (QalImpf) to his own land. H776
