βοηθος και σκεπαστης εγενετο μοι εις σωτηριαν ουτος μου θεος και δοξασω αυτον θεος του πατρος μου και υψωσω αυτον

The priest shall take from the meal offering its memorial, and shall burn it on the altar, an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Yahweh.

as it is removed from the bull of the sacrifice of peace offerings. The priest shall burn them on the altar of burnt offering.

ον τροπον αφαιρειται απο του μοσχου του της θυσιας του σωτηριου και ανοισει ο ιερευς επι το θυσιαστηριον της καρπωσεως

^[6:3] και ενδυσεται ο ιερευς χιτωνα λινουν και περισκελες λινουν ενδυσεται περι το σωμα αυτου και αφελει την κατακαρπωσιν ην αν καταναλωση το πυρ την ολοκαυτωσιν απο του θυσιαστηριου και παραθησει αυτο εχομενον του θυσιαστηριου

He shall take from there his handful of the fine flour of the meal offering, and of its oil, and all the frankincense which is on the meal offering, and shall burn it on the altar for a pleasant aroma, as its memorial portion, to Yahweh.

The priests shall not profane the holy things of the children of Israel, which they offer to Yahweh,

και ου βεβηλωσουσιν τα αγια των υιων ισραηλ α αυτοι αφαιρουσιν τω κυριω

then it shall be that when you eat of the bread of the land, you shall offer up a wave offering to Yahweh.

και εσται οταν εσθητε υμεις απο των αρτων της γης αφελειτε αφαιρεμα αφορισμα κυριω

Of the first of your dough you shall offer up a cake for a wave offering. As the wave offering of the threshing floor, so you shall heave it.

απαρχην φυραματος υμων αρτον αφαιρεμα αφοριειτε αυτο ως αφαιρεμα απο αλω ουτως αφελειτε αυτον

“ ‘But the soul who does anything with a high hand, whether he is native-born or a foreigner, blasphemes Yahweh. That soul shall be cut off from among his people.

But the soul H5315 that doeth H6213 (QalImpf) [ought] presumptuously, H7311 (QalActPtc) H3027 [whether he be] born in the land, H249 or a stranger, H4480 H1616 the same reproacheth H1442 (PielPtc) the Lord; H3068 and that soul H5315 shall be cut off H3772 (NiphPerf) from among H7130 his people. και ψυχη ητις ποιησει εν χειρι υπερηφανιας απο των αυτοχθονων η απο των προσηλυτων τον θεον ουτος παροξυνει εξολεθρευθησεται η ψυχη εκεινη εκ του λαου αυτης

“Speak to Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest, that he take up the censers out of the burning, and scatter the fire away from the camp; for they are holy,

“Moreover you shall speak to the Levites, and tell them, ‘When you take of the children of Israel the tithe which I have given you from them for your inheritance, then you shall offer up a wave offering of it for Yahweh, a tithe of the tithe.

Thus you also shall offer a wave offering to Yahweh of all your tithes, which you receive of the children of Israel; and of it you shall give Yahweh’s wave offering to Aaron the priest.

ουτως αφελειτε και υμεις απο των αφαιρεματων κυριου απο παντων επιδεκατων υμων οσα εαν λαβητε παρα των υιων ισραηλ και δωσετε απ αυτων αφαιρεμα κυριω ααρων τω ιερει

Out of all your gifts, you shall offer every wave offering to Yahweh, of all its best parts, even the holy part of it.’

Out of all your gifts H4979 ye shall offer H7311 (HiphImpf) every heave offering H8641 of the Lord, H3068 of all the best H2459 thereof, [even] the hallowed part H4720 thereof out of it.

απο παντων των δοματων υμων αφελειτε αφαιρεμα κυριω η απο παντων των απαρχων το ηγιασμενον απ αυτου

“Therefore you shall tell them, ‘When you heave its best from it, then it shall be credited to the Levites as the increase of the threshing floor, and as the increase of the wine press.

Therefore thou shalt say H559 (QalPerf) unto them, When ye have heaved H7311 (HiphInf) the best H2459 thereof from it, then it shall be counted H2803 (NiphPerf) unto the Levites H3881 as the increase H8393 of the threshingfloor, H1637 and as the increase H8393 of the winepress. H3342

και ερεις προς αυτους οταν αφαιρητε την απαρχην απ αυτου και λογισθησεται τοις λευιταις ως γενημα απο αλω και ως γενημα απο ληνου

You shall bear no sin by reason of it, when you have heaved from it its best. You shall not profane the holy things of the children of Israel, that you not die.’ ”

και ου λημψεσθε δι αυτο αμαρτιαν οτι αν αφαιρητε την απαρχην απ αυτου και τα αγια των υιων ισραηλ ου βεβηλωσετε ινα μη αποθανητε

Moses lifted up his hand, and struck the rock with his rod twice, and water came out abundantly. The congregation and their livestock drank.

Levy a tribute to Yahweh of the men of war who went out to battle: one soul of five hundred; of the persons, of the cattle, of the donkeys, and of the flocks.

και αφελειτε τελος κυριω παρα των ανθρωπων των πολεμιστων των εκπεπορευμενων εις την παραταξιν μιαν ψυχην απο πεντακοσιων απο των ανθρωπων και απο των κτηνων και απο των βοων και απο των προβατων και απο των αιγων

All the gold of the wave offering that they offered up to Yahweh, of the captains of thousands, and of the captains of hundreds, was sixteen thousand seven hundred fifty shekels.°

(The Emim lived there before, a great and numerous people, and tall as the Anakim.

οι ομμιν προτεροι ενεκαθηντο επ αυτης εθνος μεγα και πολυ και ισχυοντες ωσπερ οι ενακιμ

a great people, many, and tall, as the Anakim; but Yahweh destroyed them from before Israel, and they succeeded them, and lived in their place,

υψωθης τη καρδια και επιλαθη κυριου του θεου σου του εξαγαγοντος σε εκ γης αιγυπτου εξ οικου δουλειας

a people great and tall, the sons of the Anakim, whom you know, and of whom you have heard say, “Who can stand before the sons of Anak?”

λαον μεγαν και πολυν και ευμηκη υιους ενακ ους συ οισθα και συ ακηκοας τις αντιστησεται κατα προσωπον υιων ενακ

You shall surely destroy all the places in which the nations that you shall dispossess served their gods: on the high mountains, and on the hills, and under every green tree.

απωλεια απολειτε παντας τους τοπους εν οις ελατρευσαν εκει τοις θεοις αυτων ους υμεις κληρονομειτε αυτους επι των ορεων των υψηλων και επι των θινων και υποκατω δενδρου δασεος

that his heart not be lifted up above his brothers, and that he not turn away from the commandment to the right hand, or to the left, to the end that he may prolong his days in his kingdom, he and his children, in the middle of Israel.

ινα μη υψωθη η καρδια αυτου απο των αδελφων αυτου ινα μη παραβη απο των εντολων δεξια η αριστερα οπως αν μακροχρονιση επι της αρχης αυτου αυτος και οι υιοι αυτου εν τοις υιοις ισραηλ

With a loud voice, the Levites shall say to all the men of Israel,

ει μη δι οργην εχθρων ινα μη μακροχρονισωσιν και ινα μη συνεπιθωνται οι υπεναντιοι μη ειπωσιν η χειρ ημων η υψηλη και ουχι κυριος εποιησεν ταυτα παντα

ειπεν αυτοις προσαγαγετε εμπροσθεν μου προ προσωπου κυριου εις μεσον του ιορδανου και ανελομενος εκειθεν εκαστος λιθον αρατω επι των ωμων αυτου κατα τον αριθμον των δωδεκα φυλων του ισραηλ

Hannah prayed, and said, “My heart exults in Yahweh! My horn is exalted in Yahweh. My mouth is enlarged over my enemies, because I rejoice in your salvation.

και ειπεν εστερεωθη η καρδια μου εν κυριω υψωθη κερας μου εν θεω μου επλατυνθη επι εχθρους το στομα μου ευφρανθην εν σωτηρια σου

Yahweh makes poor and makes rich. He brings low, he also lifts up.

The Lord H3068 maketh poor, H3423 (HiphPtc) and maketh rich: H6238 (HiphPtc) he bringeth low, H8213 (HiphPtc) and H637 lifteth up. H7311 (PolePtc)

κυριος πτωχιζει και πλουτιζει ταπεινοι και ανυψοι

He raises up the poor out of the dust. He lifts up the needy from the dunghill to make them sit with princes and inherit the throne of glory. For the pillars of the earth are Yahweh’s. He has set the world on them.
