και ειπεν κυριος προς με μη εχθραινετε τοις μωαβιταις και μη συναψητε προς αυτους πολεμον ου γαρ μη δω υμιν απο της γης αυτων εν κληρω τοις γαρ υιοις λωτ δεδωκα την σηιρ κληρονομειν

και προσαξετε εγγυς υιων αμμαν μη εχθραινετε αυτοις και μη συναψητε αυτοις εις πολεμον ου γαρ μη δω απο της γης υιων αμμαν σοι εν κληρω οτι τοις υιοις λωτ δεδωκα αυτην εν κληρω

But Yahweh was angry with me because of you, and didn’t listen to me. Yahweh said to me, “That is enough! Speak no more to me of this matter.

“Let Reuben live, and not die; Nor let his men be few.”

Now therefore please beware and drink no wine nor strong drink, and don’t eat any unclean thing;

μη αυτους προσδεξεσθε εως ου αδρυνθωσιν η αυτοις κατασχεθησεσθε του μη γενεσθαι ανδρι μη δη θυγατερες μου οτι επικρανθη μοι υπερ υμας οτι εξηλθεν εν εμοι χειρ κυριου

“Don’t keep talking so exceedingly proudly. Don’t let arrogance come out of your mouth, for Yahweh is a God of knowledge. By him actions are weighed.

μη καυχασθε και μη λαλειτε υψηλα μη εξελθατω μεγαλορρημοσυνη εκ του στοματος υμων οτι θεος γνωσεων κυριος και θεος ετοιμαζων επιτηδευματα αυτου

μη τεκνα οτι ουκ αγαθη η ακοη ην εγω ακουω μη ποιειτε ουτως οτι ουκ αγαθαι αι ακοαι ας εγω ακουω του μη δουλευειν λαον θεω

David said to Saul, “Let no man’s heart fail because of him. Your servant will go and fight with this Philistine.”

και ειπεν ελισαιε προς αυτην εις τον καιρον τουτον ως η ωρα ζωσα συ περιειληφυια υιον η δε ειπεν μη κυριε μου μη διαψευση την δουλην σου

Then King Jehoash called for Jehoiada the priest, and for the other priests, and said to them, “Why aren’t you repairing the damage to the house? Now therefore take no more money from your treasurers, but deliver it for repair of the damage to the house.”

Don’t let Hezekiah make you trust in Yahweh, saying, “Yahweh will surely deliver us, and this city shall not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.”

και μη επελπιζετω υμας εζεκιας προς κυριον λεγων εξαιρουμενος εξελειται ημας κυριος ου μη παραδοθη η πολις αυτη εν χειρι βασιλεως ασσυριων

“Don’t touch my anointed ones! Do my prophets no harm!”

Then you will prosper, if you observe to do the statutes and the ordinances which Yahweh gave Moses concerning Israel. Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid and don’t be dismayed.

τοτε ευοδωσει εαν φυλαξης του ποιειν τα προσταγματα και τα κριματα α ενετειλατο κυριος τω μωυση επι ισραηλ ανδριζου και ισχυε μη φοβου μηδε πτοηθης

David said to Solomon his son, “Be strong and courageous, and do it. Don’t be afraid, nor be dismayed, for Yahweh God, even my God, is with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you, until all the work for the service of Yahweh’s house is finished.

But let no one come into Yahweh’s house except the priests and those who minister of the Levites. They shall come in, for they are holy, but all the people shall follow Yahweh’s instructions.

και μη εισελθετω εις οικον κυριου εαν μη οι ιερεις και οι λευιται και οι λειτουργουντες των λευιτων αυτοι εισελευσονται οτι αγιοι εισιν και πας ο λαος φυλασσετω φυλακας κυριου

But he sent ambassadors to him, saying, “What have I to do with you, you king of Judah? I come not against you today, but against the house with which I have war. God has commanded me to make haste. Beware that it is God who is with me, that he not destroy you.”

Now therefore don’t give your daughters to their sons. Don’t take their daughters to your sons, nor seek their peace or their prosperity forever, that you may be strong and eat the good of the land, and leave it for an inheritance to your children forever.’

και νυν τας θυγατερας υμων μη δωτε τοις υιοις αυτων και απο των θυγατερων αυτων μη λαβητε τοις υιοις υμων και ουκ εκζητησετε ειρηνην αυτων και αγαθον αυτων εως αιωνος οπως ενισχυσητε και φαγητε τα αγαθα της γης και κληροδοτησητε τοις υιοις υμων εως αιωνος
