Yahweh said, “If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare the whole place for their sake.”

What if there will lack five of the fifty righteous? Will you destroy all the city for lack of five?” He said, “I will not destroy it if I find forty-five there.”

και διερρηξαν τα ιματια αυτων και επεθηκαν εκαστος τον μαρσιππον αυτου επι τον ονον αυτου και επεστρεψαν εις την πολιν

As for the people, he moved them to the cities from one end of the border of Egypt even to the other end of it.

και τον λαον κατεδουλωσατο αυτω εις παιδας απ ακρων οριων αιγυπτου εως των ακρων

Therefore they set taskmasters over them to afflict them with their burdens. They built storage cities for Pharaoh: Pithom and Raamses.

Therefore they did set H7760 (QalImpf) over them taskmasters H4522 H8269 to afflict H6031 (PielInf) them with their burdens. H5450 And they built H1129 (QalImpf) for Pharaoh H6547 treasure H4543 cities, H5892 Pithom H6619 and Raamses. H7486

και επεστησεν αυτοις επιστατας των εργων ινα κακωσωσιν αυτους εν τοις εργοις και ωκοδομησαν πολεις οχυρας τω φαραω την τε πιθωμ και ραμεσση και ων η εστιν ηλιου πολις

Moses said to him, “As soon as I have gone out of the city, I will spread out my hands to Yahweh. The thunders shall cease, and there will not be any more hail; that you may know that the earth is Yahweh’s.

And Moses H4872 said H559 (QalImpf) unto him, As soon as I am gone out H3318 (QalInf) of the city, H5892 I will spread abroad H6566 (QalImpf) my hands H3709 unto the Lord; H3068 and the thunder H6963 shall cease, H2308 (QalImpf) neither shall there be any more hail; H1259 that thou mayest know H3045 (QalImpf) how that the earth H776 is the Lord’s. ειπεν δε αυτω μωυσης ως αν εξελθω την πολιν εκπετασω τας χειρας μου προς κυριον και αι φωναι παυσονται και η χαλαζα και ο υετος ουκ εσται ετι ινα γνως οτι του κυριου η γη

Moses went out of the city from Pharaoh, and spread out his hands to Yahweh; and the thunders and hail ceased, and the rain was not poured on the earth.

And Moses H4872 went out H3318 (QalImpf) of the city H5892 from Pharaoh, H6547 and spread abroad H6566 (QalImpf) his hands H3709 unto the Lord: H3068 and the thunders H6963 and hail H1259 ceased, H2308 (QalImpf) and the rain H4306 was not poured H5413 (NiphPerf) upon the earth. H776

εξηλθεν δε μωυσης απο φαραω εκτος της πολεως και εξεπετασεν τας χειρας προς κυριον και αι φωναι επαυσαντο και η χαλαζα και ο υετος ουκ εσταξεν ετι επι την γην

then the priest shall command that they take out the stones in which is the plague, and cast them into an unclean place outside of the city.

και προσταξει ο ιερευς και εξελουσιν τους λιθους εν οις εστιν η αφη και εκβαλουσιν αυτους εξω της πολεως εις τοπον ακαθαρτον

He shall cause the inside of the house to be scraped all over. They shall pour out the mortar that they scraped off outside of the city into an unclean place.

and he shall cause the house H1004 to be scraped H7106 (HiphImpf) within H1004 round about, H5439 and they shall pour H8210 (QalPerf) out the dust H6083 that they scrape H7096 (HiphPerf) off without H2351 the city H5892 into an unclean H2931 place: H4725

και αποξυσουσιν την οικιαν εσωθεν κυκλω και εκχεουσιν τον χουν εξω της πολεως εις τοπον ακαθαρτον

He shall break down the house, its stones, and its timber, and all the house’s mortar. He shall carry them out of the city into an unclean place.

And he shall break down H5422 (QalPerf) the house, H1004 the stones H68 of it, and the timber H6086 thereof, and all the morter H6083 of the house; H1004 and he shall carry them forth H3318 (HiphPerf) out H2351 of the city H5892 into an unclean H2931 place. H4725

και καθελουσιν την οικιαν και τα ξυλα αυτης και τους λιθους αυτης και παντα τον χουν εξοισουσιν εξω της πολεως εις τοπον ακαθαρτον

but he shall let the living bird go out of the city into the open field. So shall he make atonement for the house; and it shall be clean.”

but he shall let go H7971 (PielPerf) the living H2416 bird H6833 out H2351 of the city H5892 into the open H6440 fields, H7704 and make an atonement H3722 (PielPerf) for the house: H1004 and it shall be clean. H2891 (QalPerf)

και εξαποστελει το ορνιθιον το ζων εξω της πολεως εις το πεδιον και εξιλασεται περι της οικιας και καθαρα εσται

“ ‘If a man sells a dwelling house in a walled city, then he may redeem it within a whole year after it has been sold. For a full year he shall have the right of redemption.

And if a man H376 sell H4376 (QalImpf) a dwelling H4186 house H1004 in a walled H2346 city, H5892 then he may redeem H1353 it within a whole H8552 (QalInf) year H8141 after it is sold; H4465 within a full year H3117 may he redeem H1353 it.

εαν δε τις αποδωται οικιαν οικητην εν πολει τετειχισμενη και εσται η λυτρωσις αυτης εως πληρωθη ενιαυτος ημερων εσται η λυτρωσις αυτης
