On that day the prince shall prepare for himself and for all the people of the land a bull for a sin offering.

And upon that day H3117 shall the prince H5387 prepare H6213 (QalPerf) for himself and for all the people H5971 of the land H776 a bullock H6499 for a sin offering. H2403

και ποιησει ο αφηγουμενος εν εκεινη τη ημερα υπερ αυτου και του οικου και υπερ παντος του λαου της γης μοσχον υπερ αμαρτιας

The people of the land shall worship at the door of that gate before Yahweh on the Sabbaths and on the new moons.

Likewise the people H5971 of the land H776 shall worship H7812 (HithPerf) at the door H6607 of this gate H8179 before H6440 the Lord H3068 in the sabbaths H7676 and in the new moons. H2320

και προσκυνησει ο λαος της γης κατα τα προθυρα της πυλης εκεινης εν τοις σαββατοις και εν ταις νουμηνιαις εναντιον κυριου

“ ‘ “But when the people of the land come before Yahweh in the appointed feasts, he who enters by the way of the north gate to worship shall go out by the way of the south gate; and he who enters by the way of the south gate shall go out by the way of the north gate. He shall not return by the way of the gate by which he came in, but shall go out straight before him.

But when the people H5971 of the land H776 shall come H935 (QalInf) before H6440 the Lord H3068 in the solemn feasts, H4150 he that entereth H935 (QalActPtc) in by the way H1870 of the north H6828 gate H8179 to worship H7812 (HithInf) shall go out H3318 (QalImpf) by the way H1870 of the south H5045 gate; H8179 and he that entereth H935 (QalActPtc) by the way H1870 of the south H5045 gate H8179 shall go forth H3318 (QalImpf) by the way H1870 of the north H6828 gate: H8179 he shall not return H7725 (QalImpf) by the way H1870 of the gate H8179 whereby he came in, H935 (QalPerf) but shall go forth H3318 (QalImpf) over against H5226 it.

και οταν εισπορευηται ο λαος της γης εναντιον κυριου εν ταις εορταις ο εισπορευομενος κατα την οδον της πυλης της προς βορραν προσκυνειν εξελευσεται κατα την οδον της πυλης της προς νοτον και ο εισπορευομενος κατα την οδον της πυλης της προς νοτον εξελευσεται κατα την οδον της πυλης της προς βορραν ουκ αναστρεψει κατα την πυλην ην εισεληλυθεν αλλ η κατ ευθυ αυτης εξελευσεται

The Lord Yahweh says: “This shall be the border by which you shall divide the land for inheritance according to the twelve tribes of Israel. Joseph shall have two portions.

Thus saith H559 (QalPerf) the Lord H136 God; H3069 This H1454 shall be the border, H1366 whereby ye shall inherit H5157 (HithImpf) the land H776 according to the twelve H8147 H6240 tribes H7626 of Israel: H3478 Joseph H3130 shall have two portions. H2256

ταδε λεγει κυριος θεος ταυτα τα ορια κατακληρονομησετε της γης ταις δωδεκα φυλαις των υιων ισραηλ προσθεσις σχοινισματος

You shall inherit it, one as well as another; for I swore to give it to your fathers. This land will fall to you for inheritance.

“This shall be the border of the land: “On the north side, from the great sea, by the way of Hethlon, to the entrance of Zedad;

“The east side, between Hauran, Damascus, Gilead, and the land of Israel, shall be the Jordan; from the north border to the east sea you shall measure. This is the east side.

και τα προς ανατολας ανα μεσον της αυρανιτιδος και ανα μεσον δαμασκου και ανα μεσον της γαλααδιτιδος και ανα μεσον της γης του ισραηλ ο ιορδανης διοριζει επι την θαλασσαν την προς ανατολας φοινικωνος ταυτα τα προς ανατολας

“So you shall divide this land to yourselves according to the tribes of Israel.

So shall ye divide H2505 (PielPerf) this land H776 unto you according to the tribes H7626 of Israel. H3478

και διαμερισετε την γην ταυτην αυτοις ταις φυλαις του ισραηλ

It shall be to them an offering from the offering of the land, a most holy thing, by the border of the Levites.

And this oblation H8642 of the land H776 that is offered H8641 shall be unto them a thing most H6944 holy H6944 by the border H1366 of the Levites. H3881

και εσται αυτοις η απαρχη δεδομενη εκ των απαρχων της γης αγιον αγιων απο των οριων των λευιτων

They shall sell none of it, nor exchange it, nor shall the first fruits of the land be alienated, for it is holy to Yahweh.

“This is the land which you shall divide by lot to the tribes of Israel for inheritance, and these are their several portions, says the Lord Yahweh.

This is the land H776 which ye shall divide by lot H5307 (HiphImpf) unto the tribes H7626 of Israel H3478 for inheritance, H5159 and these are their portions, H4256 saith H5002 (QalPasPtc) the Lord H136 God. H3069

αυτη η γη ην βαλειτε εν κληρω ταις φυλαις ισραηλ και ουτοι οι διαμερισμοι αυτων λεγει κυριος θεος

The Lord^§ gave Jehoiakim king of Judah into his hand, with some of the vessels of the house of God;^§ and he carried them into the land of Shinar to the house of his god. He brought the vessels into the treasure house of his god.

Daniel 1:2a The word translated “Lord” is “Adonai.”

και εδωκεν κυριος εν χειρι αυτου τον ιωακιμ βασιλεα ιουδα και απο μερους των σκευων οικου του θεου και ηνεγκεν αυτα εις γην σεννααρ οικον του θεου αυτου και τα σκευη εισηνεγκεν εις τον οικον θησαυρου του θεου αυτου

As I was considering, behold, a male goat came from the west over the surface of the whole earth, and didn’t touch the ground. The goat had a notable horn between his eyes.
