αντι τουτου ιδου εγω επαγω επι σε αλλοτριους λοιμους απο εθνων και εκκενωσουσιν τας μαχαιρας αυτων επι σε και επι το καλλος της επιστημης σου και στρωσουσιν το καλλος σου εις απωλειαν

ερχονται προς σε ως συμπορευεται λαος και καθηνται εναντιον σου και ακουουσιν τα ρηματα σου και αυτα ου μη ποιησουσιν οτι ψευδος εν τω στοματι αυτων και οπισω των μιασματων η καρδια αυτων

“When this comes to pass—behold, it comes—then they will know that a prophet has been among them.”

I will bring them out from the peoples, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them into their own land. I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, by the watercourses, and in all the inhabited places of the country.

υμων δε ορη ισραηλ την σταφυλην και τον καρπον υμων καταφαγεται ο λαος μου οτι εγγιζουσιν του ελθειν

When they came to the nations where they went, they profaned my holy name, in that men said of them, ‘These are Yahweh’s people, and have left his land.’

Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the wind, prophesy, son of man, and tell the wind, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “Come from the four winds, breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.” ’ ”

δια τουτο προφητευσον και ειπον ταδε λεγει κυριος ιδου εγω ανοιγω υμων τα μνηματα και αναξω υμας εκ των μνηματων υμων και εισαξω υμας εις την γην του ισραηλ

Say to them, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the nations where they have gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land.

και ερεις αυτοις ταδε λεγει κυριος κυριος ιδου εγω λαμβανω παντα οικον ισραηλ εκ μεσου των εθνων ου εισηλθοσαν εκει και συναξω αυτους απο παντων των περικυκλω αυτων και εισαξω αυτους εις την γην του ισραηλ

After many days you will be visited. In the latter years you will come into the land that is brought back from the sword, that is gathered out of many peoples, on the mountains of Israel, which have been a continual waste; but it is brought out of the peoples and they will dwell securely, all of them.

αφ ημερων πλειονων ετοιμασθησεται και επ εσχατου ετων ελευσεται και ηξει εις την γην την απεστραμμενην απο μαχαιρας συνηγμενων απο εθνων πολλων επι γην ισραηλ η εγενηθη ερημος δι ολου και ουτος εξ εθνων εξεληλυθεν και κατοικησουσιν επ ειρηνης απαντες

You will ascend. You will come like a storm. You will be like a cloud to cover the land, you and all your hordes, and many peoples with you.”

You will say, ‘I will go up to the land of unwalled villages. I will go to those who are at rest, who dwell securely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,

σαβα και δαιδαν και εμποροι καρχηδονιοι και πασαι αι κωμαι αυτων ερουσιν σοι εις προνομην του προνομευσαι συ ερχη και σκυλευσαι σκυλα συνηγαγες συναγωγην σου λαβειν αργυριον και χρυσιον απενεγκασθαι κτησιν του σκυλευσαι σκυλα

You will come from your place out of the uttermost parts of the north, you, and many peoples with you, all of them riding on horses, a great company and a mighty army.

You will come up against my people Israel as a cloud to cover the land. It will happen in the latter days that I will bring you against my land, that the nations may know me when I am sanctified in you, Gog, before their eyes.”

ταδε λεγει κυριος κυριος τω γωγ συ ει περι ου ελαλησα προ ημερων των εμπροσθεν δια χειρος των δουλων μου προφητων του ισραηλ εν ταις ημεραις εκειναις και ετεσιν του αγαγειν σε επ αυτους

It will happen in that day, when Gog comes against the land of Israel,” says the Lord Yahweh, “that my wrath will come up into my nostrils.

And it shall come to pass at the same time H3117 when H3117 Gog H1463 shall come H935 (QalInf) against the land H127 of Israel, H3478 saith H5002 (QalPasPtc) the Lord H136 God, H3069 [that] my fury H2534 shall come up H5927 (QalImpf) in my face. H639

και εσται εν τη ημερα εκεινη εν ημερα η αν ελθη γωγ επι την γην του ισραηλ λεγει κυριος κυριος αναβησεται ο θυμος μου

I will turn you around, will lead you on, and will cause you to come up from the uttermost parts of the north; and I will bring you onto the mountains of Israel.

And I will turn thee back, H7725 (PolePerf) and leave but the sixth part H8338 (PielPerf) of thee, and will cause thee to come up H5927 (HiphPerf) from the north H6828 parts, H3411 and will bring H935 (HiphPerf) thee upon the mountains H2022 of Israel: H3478

και συναξω σε και καθοδηγησω σε και αναβιβω σε απ εσχατου του βορρα και αναξω σε επι τα ορη του ισραηλ

Behold, it comes, and it will be done,” says the Lord Yahweh. “This is the day about which I have spoken.

ιδου ηκει και γνωση οτι εσται λεγει κυριος κυριος αυτη εστιν η ημερα εν η ελαλησα

“You, son of man, the Lord Yahweh says: ‘Speak to the birds of every sort, and to every animal of the field, “Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice on the mountains of Israel, that you may eat meat and drink blood.

και συ υιε ανθρωπου ειπον ταδε λεγει κυριος ειπον παντι ορνεω πετεινω και προς παντα τα θηρια του πεδιου συναχθητε και ερχεσθε συναχθητε απο παντων των περικυκλω επι την θυσιαν μου ην τεθυκα υμιν θυσιαν μεγαλην επι τα ορη ισραηλ και φαγεσθε κρεα και πιεσθε αιμα

In the twenty-fifth year of our captivity, in the beginning of the year, in the tenth day of the month, in the fourteenth year after the city was struck, in the same day, Yahweh’s hand was on me, and he brought me there.

και εγενετο εν τω πεμπτω και εικοστω ετει της αιχμαλωσιας ημων εν τω πρωτω μηνι δεκατη του μηνος εν τω τεσσαρεσκαιδεκατω ετει μετα το αλωναι την πολιν εν τη ημερα εκεινη εγενετο επ εμε χειρ κυριου και ηγαγεν με

In the visions of God he brought me into the land of Israel, and set me down on a very high mountain, on which was something like the frame of a city to the south.

εν ορασει θεου εις την γην του ισραηλ και εθηκεν με επ ορους υψηλου σφοδρα και επ αυτου ωσει οικοδομη πολεως απεναντι

He brought me there; and, behold, there was a man whose appearance was like the appearance of bronze, with a line of flax in his hand and a measuring reed; and he stood in the gate.

και εισηγαγεν με εκει και ιδου ανηρ και η ορασις αυτου ην ωσει ορασις χαλκου στιλβοντος και εν τη χειρι αυτου ην σπαρτιον οικοδομων και καλαμος μετρου και αυτος ειστηκει επι της πυλης

The man said to me, “Son of man, see with your eyes, and hear with your ears, and set your heart on all that I will show you; for you have been brought here so that I may show them to you. Declare all that you see to the house of Israel.”

και ειπεν προς με ο ανηρ εωρακας υιε ανθρωπου εν τοις οφθαλμοις σου ιδε και εν τοις ωσιν σου ακουε και ταξον εις την καρδιαν σου παντα οσα εγω δεικνυω σοι διοτι ενεκα του δειξαι σοι εισεληλυθας ωδε και δειξεις παντα οσα συ ορας τω οικω του ισραηλ

Then he came to the gate which looks toward the east, and went up its steps. He measured the threshold of the gate, one reed wide; and the other threshold, one reed wide.

και εισηλθεν εις την πυλην την βλεπουσαν κατα ανατολας εν επτα αναβαθμοις και διεμετρησεν το αιλαμ της πυλης ισον τω καλαμω

Then he brought me into the outer court. Behold, there were rooms and a pavement made for the court all around. Thirty rooms were on the pavement.

Then brought H935 (HiphImpf) he me into the outward H2435 court, H2691 and, lo, [there were] chambers, H3957 and a pavement H7531 made H6213 (QalPasPtc) for the court H2691 round about: H5439 thirty H7970 chambers H3957 [were] upon the pavement. H7531

και εισηγαγεν με εις την αυλην την εσωτεραν και ιδου παστοφορια και περιστυλα κυκλω της αυλης τριακοντα παστοφορια εν τοις περιστυλοις

Then he brought me to the inner court by the south gate. He measured the south gate according to these measurements;

And he brought H935 (HiphImpf) me to the inner H6442 court H2691 by the south H1864 gate: H8179 and he measured H4058 (QalImpf) the south H1864 gate H8179 according to these measures; H4060

και εισηγαγεν με εις την αυλην την εσωτεραν της πυλης της προς νοτον και διεμετρησεν την πυλην κατα τα μετρα ταυτα

He brought me into the inner court toward the east. He measured the gate according to these measurements;

And he brought H935 (HiphImpf) me into the inner H6442 court H2691 toward H1870 the east: H6921 and he measured H4058 (QalImpf) the gate H8179 according to these measures. H4060

και εισηγαγεν με εις την πυλην την βλεπουσαν κατα ανατολας και διεμετρησεν αυτην κατα τα μετρα ταυτα

He brought me to the north gate, and he measured it according to these measurements—

And he brought H935 (HiphImpf) me to the north H6828 gate, H8179 and measured H4058 (QalPerf) [it] according to these measures; H4060

και εισηγαγεν με εις την πυλην την προς βορραν και διεμετρησεν κατα τα μετρα ταυτα

Then he brought me to the porch of the house, and measured each post of the porch, five cubits on this side, and five cubits on that side. The width of the gate was three cubits on this side and three cubits on that side.
