Its length shall be a cubit,° and its width a cubit. It shall be square, and its height shall be two cubits. Its horns shall be of one piece with it.

Exodus 30:2 A cubit is the length from the tip of the middle finger to the elbow on a man’s arm, or about 18 inches or 46 centimeters.

The rich shall not give more, and the poor shall not give less, than the half shekel,° when they give the offering of Yahweh, to make atonement for your souls.

Moses turned, and went down from the mountain, with the two tablets of the covenant in his hand; tablets that were written on both their sides. They were written on one side and on the other.

The sons of Levi did according to the word of Moses. About three thousand men fell of the people that day.

When Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the two tablets of the covenant in Moses’ hand, when he came down from the mountain, Moses didn’t know that the skin of his face shone by reason of his speaking with him.

They spoke to Moses, saying, “The people have brought much more than enough for the service of the work which Yahweh commanded to make.”

He made a covering for the tent of rams’ skins dyed red, and a covering of sea cow hides above.

He made the middle bar to pass through in the middle of the boards from the one end to the other.

He overlaid it with pure gold inside and outside, and made a molding of gold for it around it.

one cherub at the one end, and one cherub at the other end. He made the cherubim of one piece with the mercy seat at its two ends.

He made the lamp stand of pure gold. He made the lamp stand of beaten work. Its base, its shaft, its cups, its buds, and its flowers were of one piece with it.

Their buds and their branches were of one piece with it. The whole thing was one beaten work of pure gold.

He made the altar of incense of acacia wood. It was square: its length was a cubit, and its width a cubit. Its height was two cubits. Its horns were of one piece with it.

He made its horns on its four corners. Its horns were of one piece with it, and he overlaid it with bronze.

And he made H6213 (QalImpf) the horns H7161 thereof on the four H702 corners H6438 of it; the horns H7161 thereof were of the same: and he overlaid H6823 (PielImpf) it with brass. H5178

and so for the other side: on this hand and that hand by the gate of the court were hangings of fifteen cubits; their pillars three, and their sockets three.

And for the other H8145 side H3802 of the court H2691 gate, H8179 on this hand and that hand, were hangings H7050 of fifteen H2568 H6240 cubits; H520 their pillars H5982 three, H7969 and their sockets H134 three. H7969

Of the blue, purple, and scarlet, they made finely worked garments for ministering in the holy place, and made the holy garments for Aaron, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

“‘If his offering is a burnt offering from the herd, he shall offer a male without defect. He shall offer it at the door of the Tent of Meeting, that he may be accepted before Yahweh.

If his offering H7133 be a burnt sacrifice H5930 of the herd, H1241 let him offer H7126 (HiphImpf) a male H2145 without blemish: H8549 he shall offer H7126 (HiphImpf) it of his own voluntary will H7522 at the door H6607 of the tabernacle H168 of the congregation H4150 before H6440 the Lord. H3068

εαν ολοκαυτωμα το δωρον αυτου εκ των βοων αρσεν αμωμον προσαξει προς την θυραν της σκηνης του μαρτυριου προσοισει αυτο δεκτον εναντιον κυριου

“‘If his offering is from the flock, from the sheep or from the goats, for a burnt offering, he shall offer a male without defect.

And if his offering H7133 be of the flocks, H6629 namely, of the sheep, H3775 or of the goats, H5795 for a burnt sacrifice; H5930 he shall bring H7126 (HiphImpf) it a male H2145 without blemish. H8549

εαν δε απο των προβατων το δωρον αυτου τω κυριω απο τε των αρνων και των εριφων εις ολοκαυτωμα αρσεν αμωμον προσαξει αυτο και επιθησει την χειρα επι την κεφαλην αυτου

“‘If his offering to Yahweh is a burnt offering of birds, then he shall offer his offering from turtledoves or of young pigeons.

And if the burnt sacrifice H5930 for his offering H7133 to the Lord H3068 be of fowls, H5775 then he shall bring H7126 (HiphPerf) his offering H7133 of turtledoves, H8449 or of young H1121 pigeons. H3123

εαν δε απο των πετεινων καρπωμα προσφερης δωρον τω κυριω και προσοισει απο των τρυγονων η απο των περιστερων το δωρον αυτου

That which is left of the meal offering shall be Aaron’s and his sons’. It is a most holy part of the offerings of Yahweh made by fire.

and the remnant H3498 (NiphPtc) of the meat offering H4503 shall be Aaron’s H175 and his sons’: H1121 it is a thing most H6944 holy H6944 of the offerings H801 of the Lord H3068 made by fire. H801

και το λοιπον απο της θυσιας ααρων και τοις υιοις αυτου αγιον των αγιων απο των θυσιων κυριου

The priest shall take from the meal offering its memorial, and shall burn it on the altar, an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Yahweh.

And the priest H3548 shall take H7311 (HiphPerf) from the meat offering H4503 a memorial H234 thereof, and shall burn H6999 (HiphPerf) it upon the altar: H4196 it is an offering made by fire, H801 of a sweet H5207 savour H7381 unto the Lord. H3068

αφελει ο ιερευς απο της θυσιας το μνημοσυνον αυτης και επιθησει ο ιερευς επι το θυσιαστηριον καρπωμα οσμη ευωδιας κυριω

That which is left of the meal offering shall be Aaron’s and his sons’. It is a most holy part of the offerings of Yahweh made by fire.

το δε καταλειφθεν απο της θυσιας ααρων και τοις υιοις αυτου αγια των αγιων απο των καρπωματων κυριου

“‘If his offering is a sacrifice of peace offerings, if he offers it from the herd, whether male or female, he shall offer it without defect before Yahweh.

And if his oblation H7133 be a sacrifice H2077 of peace offering, H8002 if he offer H7126 (HiphPtc) it of the herd; H1241 whether it be a male H2145 or female, H5347 he shall offer H7126 (HiphImpf) it without blemish H8549 before H6440 the Lord. H3068

εαν δε θυσια σωτηριου το δωρον αυτου τω κυριω εαν μεν εκ των βοων αυτου προσαγαγη εαν τε αρσεν εαν τε θηλυ αμωμον προσαξει αυτο εναντιον κυριου

“‘If his offering for a sacrifice of peace offerings to Yahweh is from the flock, either male or female, he shall offer it without defect.

And if his offering H7133 for a sacrifice H2077 of peace offering H8002 unto the Lord H3068 be of the flock; H6629 male H2145 or female, H5347 he shall offer H7126 (HiphImpf) it without blemish. H8549
