Whatever man there is of the house of Israel who kills a bull, or lamb, or goat in the camp, or who kills it outside the camp,

“ ‘Don’t defile yourselves in any of these things; for in all these the nations which I am casting out before you were defiled.

‘Ye are not defiled with all these, for with all these have the nations been defiled which I am sending away from before you;

You therefore shall keep my statutes and my ordinances, and shall not do any of these abominations; neither the native-born, nor the stranger who lives as a foreigner among you

“ ‘For whoever shall do any of these abominations, even the souls that do them shall be cut off from among their people.

For whosoever shall commit H6213 (QalImpf) any of these abominations, H8441 even the souls H5315 that commit H6213 (QalActPtc) [them] shall be cut off H3772 (NiphPerf) from among H7130 their people. H5971

for any one who doth any of all these abominations-even the persons who are doing so, have been cut off from the midst of their people;

Therefore you shall keep my requirements, that you do not practice any of these abominable customs which were practiced before you, and that you do not defile yourselves with them. I am Yahweh your God.’ ”

and ye have kept My charge, so as not to do any of the abominable statutes which have been done before you, and ye do not defile yourselves with them; I am Jehovah your God.’

“ ‘You shall rise up before the gray head and honor the face of the elderly; and you shall fear your God. I am Yahweh.

‘At the presence of grey hairs thou dost rise up, and thou hast honoured the presence of an old man, and hast been afraid of thy God; I am Jehovah.

“Moreover, you shall tell the children of Israel, ‘Anyone of the children of Israel, or of the strangers who live as foreigners in Israel, who gives any of his offspring^§ to Molech shall surely be put to death. The people of the land shall stone that person with stones.

I also will set my face against that person, and will cut him off from among his people, because he has given of his offspring to Molech, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name.

If the people of the land all hide their eyes from that person when he gives of his offspring to Molech, and don’t put him to death,

And if the people H5971 of the land H776 do any ways H5956 (HiphInf) hide H5956 (HiphImpf) their eyes H5869 from the man, H376 when he giveth H5414 (QalInf) of his seed H2233 unto Molech, H4432 and kill H4191 (HiphInf) him not: H1115

‘And if the people of the land really hide their eyes from that man, in his giving of his seed to the Molech, so as not to put him to death,

“ ‘He who is the high priest among his brothers, upon whose head the anointing oil is poured, and who is consecrated to put on the garments, shall not let the hair of his head hang loose, or tear his clothes.

No man of the offspring of Aaron the priest who has a defect shall come near to offer the offerings of Yahweh made by fire. Since he has a defect, he shall not come near to offer the bread of his God.

“Tell them, ‘If anyone of all your offspring throughout your generations approaches the holy things which the children of Israel make holy to Yahweh, having his uncleanness on him, that soul shall be cut off from before me. I am Yahweh.

‘Say unto them, To your generations, any man who draweth near, out of all your seed, unto the holy things which the sons of Israel do sanctify to Jehovah, and his uncleanness on him-even that person hath been cut off from before Me; I am Jehovah.

You must not offer any of these as the bread of your God from the hand of a foreigner, because their corruption is in them. There is a defect in them. They shall not be accepted for you.’ ”

Neither from a stranger’s H5236 hand H3027 H1121 shall ye offer H7126 (HiphImpf) the bread H3899 of your God H430 of any of these; because their corruption H4893 [is] in them, [and] blemishes H3971 [be] in them: they shall not be accepted H7521 (NiphImpf) for you.

And from the hand of a son of a stranger ye do not bring near the bread of your God, of any of these, for their corruption is in them; blemish is in them; they are not pleasing for you.’

in addition to the Sabbaths of Yahweh, and in addition to your gifts, and in addition to all your vows, and in addition to all your free will offerings, which you give to Yahweh.

apart from the sabbaths of Jehovah, and apart from your gifts, and apart from all your vows, and apart from all your willing-offerings, which ye give to Jehovah.

Outside of the veil of the Testimony, in the Tent of Meeting, Aaron shall keep it in order from evening to morning before Yahweh continually. It shall be a statute forever throughout your generations.

Without H2351 the vail H6532 of the testimony, H5715 in the tabernacle H168 of the congregation, H4150 shall Aaron H175 order H6186 (QalImpf) it from the evening H6153 unto the morning H1242 before H6440 the Lord H3068 continually: H8548 [it shall be] a statute H2708 for ever H5769 in your generations. at the outside of the vail of the testimony in the tent of meeting doth Aaron arrange it from evening till morning before Jehovah continually-a statute age-during to your generations;

“Bring him who cursed out of the camp; and let all who heard him lay their hands on his head, and let all the congregation stone him.

Bring forth H3318 (HiphImpv) him that hath cursed H7043 (PielPtc) without H2351 the camp; H4264 and let all that heard H8085 (QalActPtc) [him] lay H5564 (QalPerf) their hands H3027 upon his head, H7218 and let all the congregation H5712 stone H7275 (QalPerf) him.

‘Bring out the reviler unto the outside of the camp; and all those hearing have laid their hands on his head, and all the company have stoned him.

Moses spoke to the children of Israel; and they brought him who had cursed out of the camp, and stoned him with stones. The children of Israel did as Yahweh commanded Moses.

You shall eat old supplies long kept, and you shall move out the old because of the new.

I am Jehovah your God, who have brought you out of the land of the Egyptians, from being their servants; and I break the bars of your yoke, and cause you to go erect.

The land also will be left by them, and will enjoy its Sabbaths while it lies desolate without them; and they will accept the punishment of their iniquity because they rejected my ordinances, and their soul abhorred my statutes.

‘And-the land is left of them, and doth enjoy its sabbaths, in the desolation without them, and they accept the punishment of their iniquity, because, even because, against My judgments they have kicked, and My statutes hath their soul loathed,

But if he is poorer than your valuation, then he shall be set before the priest, and the priest shall assign a value to him. The priest shall assign a value according to his ability to pay.

‘And if he is poorer than thy valuation, then he hath presented himself before the priest, and the priest hath valued him; according to that which the hand of him who is vowing doth reach doth the priest value him.

“ ‘No one devoted to destruction, who shall be devoted from among men, shall be ransomed. He shall surely be put to death.

‘No devoted thing, which is devoted of man, is ransomed, it is surely put to death.

“The children of Israel shall encamp every man by his own standard, with the banners of their fathers’ houses. They shall encamp around the Tent of Meeting at a distance from it.

“Behold,^§ I have taken the Levites from among the children of Israel instead of all the firstborn who open the womb among the children of Israel; and the Levites shall be mine,

Numbers 3:12 “Behold”, from “הִנֵּה”, means look at, take notice, observe, see, or gaze at. It is often used as an interjection.

The children of Israel did so, and put them outside of the camp; as Yahweh spoke to Moses, so the children of Israel did.

But if the man has no kinsman to whom restitution may be made for the guilt, the restitution for guilt which is made to Yahweh shall be the priest’s, in addition to the ram of the atonement, by which atonement shall be made for him.

‘And if the man have no redeemer to restore the guilt to, the guilt which is restored is Jehovah’s, the priest’s, apart from the ram of the atonements, whereby he maketh atonement for him.

The priest shall take holy water in an earthen vessel; and the priest shall take some of the dust that is on the floor of the tabernacle and put it into the water.

All the days of his separation he shall eat nothing that is made of the grapevine, from the seeds even to the skins.

The priest shall offer one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, and make atonement for him, because he sinned by reason of the dead, and shall make his head holy that same day.

and the priest hath prepared one for a sin-offering, and one for a burnt-offering, and hath made atonement for him, because of that which he hath sinned by the body, and he hath hallowed his head on that day;

“ ‘This is the law of the Nazirite who vows and of his offering to Yahweh for his separation, in addition to that which he is able to afford. According to his vow which he vows, so he must do after the law of his separation.’ ”

This [is] the law H8451 of the Nazarite H5139 who hath vowed, H5087 (QalImpf) [and of] his offering H7133 unto the Lord H3068 for his separation, H5145 beside [that] that his hand H3027 shall get: H5381 (HiphImpf) according H6310 to the vow H5088 which he vowed, H5087 (QalImpf) so he must do H6213 (QalImpf) after the law H8451 of his separation. ‘This is the law of the Nazarite, who voweth his offering to Jehovah for his separation, apart from that which his hand attaineth; according to his vow which he voweth so he doth by the law of his separation.’

When the ark went forward, Moses said, “Rise up, Yahweh, and let your enemies be scattered! Let those who hate you flee before you!”

And it cometh to pass in the journeying of the ark, that Moses saith, ‘Rise, O Jehovah, and Thine enemies are scattered, and those hating Thee flee from Thy presence.’

Where could I get meat to give all these people? For they weep before me, saying, ‘Give us meat, that we may eat.’

I am not able to bear all this people alone, because it is too heavy for me.

unto a month of days, till that it come out from your nostrils, and it hath become to you an abomination; because that ye have loathed Jehovah, who is in your midst, and weep before Him, saying, Why is this?-we have come out of Egypt!’

Now the man Moses was very humble, more than all the men who were on the surface of the earth.

And the man Moses is very humble, more than any of the men who are on the face of the ground.
