και ιδων ο λαος οτι κεχρονικεν μωυσης καταβηναι εκ του ορους συνεστη ο λαος επι ααρων και λεγουσιν αυτω αναστηθι και ποιησον ημιν θεους οι προπορευσονται ημων ο γαρ μωυσης ουτος ο ανθρωπος ος εξηγαγεν ημας εξ αιγυπτου ουκ οιδαμεν τι γεγονεν αυτω

Moses begged Yahweh his God, and said, “Yahweh, why does your wrath burn hot against your people, that you have brought out of the land of Egypt with great power and with a mighty hand?

Moses returned to Yahweh, and said, “Oh, this people have sinned a great sin, and have made themselves gods of gold.

υπεστρεψεν δε μωυσης προς κυριον και ειπεν δεομαι κυριε ημαρτηκεν ο λαος ουτος αμαρτιαν μεγαλην και εποιησαν εαυτοις θεους χρυσους

Now go, lead the people to the place of which I have spoken to you. Behold, my angel shall go before you. Nevertheless, in the day when I punish, I will punish them for their sin.”

Yahweh struck the people, because of what they did with the calf, which Aaron made.

When the people heard this evil news, they mourned; and no one put on his jewelry.

Moses said to Yahweh, “Behold, you tell me, ‘Bring up this people;’ and you haven’t let me know whom you will send with me. Yet you have said, ‘I know you by name, and you have also found favor in my sight.’

Now therefore, if I have found favor in your sight, please show me your way, now, that I may know you, so that I may find favor in your sight; and consider that this nation is your people.”

ει ουν ευρηκα χαριν εναντιον σου εμφανισον μοι σεαυτον γνωστως ιδω σε οπως αν ω ευρηκως χαριν εναντιον σου και ινα γνω οτι λαος σου το εθνος το μεγα τουτο

For how would people know that I have found favor in your sight, I and your people? Isn’t it that you go with us, so that we are separated, I and your people, from all the people who are on the surface of the earth?”

For wherein shall it be known H3045 (NiphImpf) here H645 that I and thy people H5971 have found H4672 (QalPerf) grace H2580 in thy sight? H5869 is it not in that thou goest H3212 (QalInf) with us? so shall we be separated, H6395 (NiphPerf) I and thy people, H5971 from all the people H5971 that are upon the face H6440 of the earth. και πως γνωστον εσται αληθως οτι ευρηκα χαριν παρα σοι εγω τε και ο λαος σου αλλ η συμπορευομενου σου μεθ ημων και ενδοξασθησομαι εγω τε και ο λαος σου παρα παντα τα εθνη οσα επι της γης εστιν

He said, “If now I have found favor in your sight, Lord, please let the Lord go among us, even though this is a stiff-necked people; pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for your inheritance.”

He said, “Behold, I make a covenant: before all your people I will do marvels, such as have not been worked in all the earth, nor in any nation; and all the people among whom you are shall see the work of Yahweh; for it is an awesome thing that I do with you.

They spoke to Moses, saying, “The people have brought much more than enough for the service of the work which Yahweh commanded to make.”

Moses gave a commandment, and they caused it to be proclaimed throughout the camp, saying, “Let neither man nor woman make anything else for the offering for the sanctuary.” So the people were restrained from bringing.

“‘If anyone of the common people sins unwittingly, in doing any of the things which Yahweh has commanded not to be done, and is guilty,

For whoever eats the fat of the animal which men offer as an offering made by fire to Yahweh, even the soul who eats it shall be cut off from his people.

For whosoever eateth H398 (QalActPtc) the fat H2459 of the beast, H929 of which men offer H7126 (HiphImpf) an offering made by fire H801 unto the Lord, H3068 even the soul H5315 that eateth H398 (QalActPtc) it shall be cut off H3772 (NiphPerf) from his people. H5971

πας ο εσθων στεαρ απο των κτηνων ων προσαξει αυτων καρπωμα κυριω απολειται η ψυχη εκεινη απο του λαου αυτης

Whoever it is who eats any blood, that soul shall be cut off from his people.’”

Whatsoever soul H5315 it be that eateth H398 (QalImpf) any manner H3605 of blood, H1818 even that soul H5315 shall be cut off H3772 (NiphPerf) from his people. H5971

πασα ψυχη η αν φαγη αιμα απολειται η ψυχη εκεινη απο του λαου αυτης

Moses said to Aaron, “Draw near to the altar, and offer your sin offering, and your burnt offering, and make atonement for yourself, and for the people; and offer the offering of the people, and make atonement for them, as Yahweh commanded.”

And Moses H4872 said H559 (QalImpf) unto Aaron, H175 Go H7126 (QalImpv) unto the altar, H4196 and offer H6213 (QalImpv) thy sin offering, H2403 and thy burnt offering, H5930 and make an atonement H3722 (PielImpv) for thyself, and for the people: H5971 and offer H6213 (QalImpv) the offering H7133 of the people, H5971 and make an atonement H3722 (PielImpv) for them; as the Lord H3068 commanded. και ειπεν μωυσης τω ααρων προσελθε προς το θυσιαστηριον και ποιησον το περι της αμαρτιας σου και το ολοκαυτωμα σου και εξιλασαι περι σεαυτου και του οικου σου και ποιησον τα δωρα του λαου και εξιλασαι περι αυτων καθαπερ ενετειλατο κυριος τω μωυση

He presented the people’s offering, and took the goat of the sin offering which was for the people, and killed it, and offered it for sin, like the first.

And he brought H7126 (HiphImpf) the people’s H5971 offering, H7133 and took H3947 (QalImpf) the goat, H8163 which was the sin offering H2403 for the people, H5971 and slew H7819 (QalImpf) it, and offered it for sin, H2398 (PielImpf) as the first. H7223

και προσηνεγκαν το δωρον του λαου και ελαβεν τον χιμαρον τον περι της αμαρτιας του λαου και εσφαξεν αυτο καθα και το πρωτον

He also killed the bull and the ram, the sacrifice of peace offerings, which was for the people. Aaron’s sons delivered to him the blood, which he sprinkled around on the altar;

He slew H7819 (QalImpf) also the bullock H7794 and the ram H352 for a sacrifice H2077 of peace offerings, H8002 which was for the people: H5971 and Aaron’s H175 sons H1121 presented H4672 (HiphImpf) unto him the blood, H1818 which he sprinkled H2236 (QalImpf) upon the altar H4196 round about, H5439

και εσφαξεν τον μοσχον και τον κριον της θυσιας του σωτηριου της του λαου και προσηνεγκαν οι υιοι ααρων το αιμα προς αυτον και προσεχεεν προς το θυσιαστηριον κυκλω

Aaron lifted up his hands toward the people, and blessed them; and he came down from offering the sin offering, and the burnt offering, and the peace offerings.

And Aaron H175 lifted up H5375 (QalImpf) his hand H3027 toward the people, H5971 and blessed H1288 (PielImpf) them, and came down H3381 (QalImpf) from offering H6213 (QalInf) of the sin offering, H2403 and the burnt offering, H5930 and peace offerings. H8002

και εξαρας ααρων τας χειρας επι τον λαον ευλογησεν αυτους και κατεβη ποιησας το περι της αμαρτιας και τα ολοκαυτωματα και τα του σωτηριου

Moses and Aaron went into the Tent of Meeting, and came out, and blessed the people; and Yahweh’s glory appeared to all the people.

And Moses H4872 and Aaron H175 went H935 (QalImpf) into the tabernacle H168 of the congregation, H4150 and came out, H3318 (QalImpf) and blessed H1288 (PielImpf) the people: H5971 and the glory H3519 of the Lord H3068 appeared H7200 (NiphImpf) unto all the people. H5971

και εισηλθεν μωυσης και ααρων εις την σκηνην του μαρτυριου και εξελθοντες ευλογησαν παντα τον λαον και ωφθη η δοξα κυριου παντι τω λαω

Fire came out from before Yahweh, and consumed the burnt offering and the fat upon the altar. When all the people saw it, they shouted, and fell on their faces.

And there came H3318 (QalImpf) a fire H784 out from before H6440 the Lord, H3068 and consumed H398 (QalImpf) upon the altar H4196 the burnt offering H5930 and the fat: H2459 which when all the people H5971 saw, H7200 (QalImpf) they shouted, H7442 (QalImpf) and fell H5307 (QalImpf) on their faces. και εξηλθεν πυρ παρα κυριου και κατεφαγεν τα επι του θυσιαστηριου τα τε ολοκαυτωματα και τα στεατα και ειδεν πας ο λαος και εξεστη και επεσαν επι προσωπον

Then Moses said to Aaron, “This is what Yahweh spoke of, saying, ‘I will show myself holy to those who come near me, and before all the people I will be glorified.’” Aaron held his peace.

Then Moses H4872 said H559 (QalImpf) unto Aaron, H175 This is it that the Lord H3068 spake, H1696 (PielPerf) saying, H559 (QalInf) I will be sanctified H6942 (NiphImpf) in them that come nigh H7138 me, and before H6440 all the people H5971 I will be glorified. και ειπεν μωυσης προς ααρων τουτο εστιν ο ειπεν κυριος λεγων εν τοις εγγιζουσιν μοι αγιασθησομαι και εν παση τη συναγωγη δοξασθησομαι και κατενυχθη ααρων

“Then he shall kill the goat of the sin offering that is for the people, and bring his blood within the veil, and do with his blood as he did with the blood of the bull, and sprinkle it on the mercy seat and before the mercy seat.

Then shall he kill H7819 (QalPerf) the goat H8163 of the sin offering, H2403 that is for the people, H5971 and bring H935 (HiphPerf) his blood H1818 within H1004 the vail, H6532 and do H6213 (QalPerf) with that blood H1818 as he did H6213 (QalPerf) with the blood H1818 of the bullock, H6499 and sprinkle H5137 (HiphPerf) it upon the mercy seat, H3727 and before H6440 the mercy seat: H3727

και σφαξει τον χιμαρον τον περι της αμαρτιας τον περι του λαου εναντι κυριου και εισοισει απο του αιματος αυτου εσωτερον του καταπετασματος και ποιησει το αιμα αυτου ον τροπον εποιησεν το αιμα του μοσχου και ρανει το αιμα αυτου επι το ιλαστηριον κατα προσωπον του ιλαστηριου

Then he shall bathe himself in water in a holy place, put on his garments, and come out and offer his burnt offering and the burnt offering of the people, and make atonement for himself and for the people.

and he shall wash H7364 (QalPerf) his flesh H1320 with water H4325 in the holy H6918 place, H4725 and put on H3847 (QalPerf) his garments, H899 and come forth, H3318 (QalPerf) and offer H6213 (QalPerf) his burnt offering, H5930 and the burnt offering H5930 of the people, H5971 and make an atonement H3722 (PielPerf) for himself, and for the people. H5971

και λουσεται το σωμα αυτου υδατι εν τοπω αγιω και ενδυσεται την στολην αυτου και εξελθων ποιησει το ολοκαρπωμα αυτου και το ολοκαρπωμα του λαου και εξιλασεται περι αυτου και περι του οικου αυτου και περι του λαου ως περι των ιερεων

Then he shall make atonement for the Holy Sanctuary; and he shall make atonement for the Tent of Meeting and for the altar; and he shall make atonement for the priests and for all the people of the assembly.

and he shall make an atonement H3722 (PielPerf) for the holy H6944 sanctuary, H4720 and he shall make an atonement H3722 (PielImpf) for the tabernacle H168 of the congregation, H4150 and for the altar, H4196 and he shall make an atonement H3722 (PielImpf) for the priests, H3548 and for all the people H5971 of the congregation. και εξιλασεται το αγιον του αγιου και την σκηνην του μαρτυριου και το θυσιαστηριον εξιλασεται και περι των ιερεων και περι πασης συναγωγης εξιλασεται

and hasn’t brought it to the door of the Tent of Meeting to offer it as an offering to Yahweh before Yahweh’s tabernacle: blood shall be imputed to that man. He has shed blood. That man shall be cut off from among his people.

and bringeth H935 (HiphPerf) it not unto the door H6607 of the tabernacle H168 of the congregation, H4150 to offer H7126 (HiphInf) an offering H7133 unto the Lord H3068 before H6440 the tabernacle H4908 of the Lord; H3068 blood H1818 shall be imputed H2803 (NiphImpf) unto that man; H376 he hath shed H8210 (QalPerf) blood; H1818 and that man H376 shall be cut off H3772 (NiphPerf) from among H7130 his people: H5971

και επι την θυραν της σκηνης του μαρτυριου μη ενεγκη ωστε ποιησαι αυτο εις ολοκαυτωμα η σωτηριον κυριω δεκτον εις οσμην ευωδιας και ος αν σφαξη εξω και επι την θυραν της σκηνης του μαρτυριου μη ενεγκη αυτο ωστε μη προσενεγκαι δωρον κυριω απεναντι της σκηνης κυριου και λογισθησεται τω ανθρωπω εκεινω αιμα αιμα εξεχεεν εξολεθρευθησεται η ψυχη εκεινη εκ του λαου αυτης

and doesn’t bring it to the door of the Tent of Meeting to sacrifice it to Yahweh, that man shall be cut off from his people.

and bringeth H935 (HiphImpf) it not unto the door H6607 of the tabernacle H168 of the congregation, H4150 to offer H6213 (QalInf) it unto the Lord; H3068 even that man H376 shall be cut off H3772 (NiphPerf) from among his people. H5971

και επι την θυραν της σκηνης του μαρτυριου μη ενεγκη ποιησαι αυτο τω κυριω εξολεθρευθησεται ο ανθρωπος εκεινος εκ του λαου αυτου
