The side rooms were in three stories, one over another, and thirty in each story. They entered into the wall which belonged to the house for the side rooms all around, that they might be supported and not penetrate the wall of the house.

και τα πλευρα πλευρον επι πλευρον τριακοντα και τρεις δις και διαστημα εν τω τοιχω του οικου εν τοις πλευροις κυκλω του ειναι τοις επιλαμβανομενοις οραν οπως το παραπαν μη απτωνται των τοιχων του οικου

Then he brought me out into the outer court, the way toward the north. Then he brought me into the room that was opposite the separate place, and which was opposite the building toward the north.

Then he brought me forth H3318 (HiphImpf) into the utter H2435 court, H2691 the way toward H1870 the north: H6828 and he brought H935 (HiphImpf) me into the chamber H3957 that [was] over against the separate place, H1508 and which [was] before the building H1146 toward the north. H6828

From under these rooms was the entry on the east side, as one goes into them from the outer court.

And from under these chambers H3957 [was] the entry H3996 (Qere) H935 (HiphPtc) on the east side, H6921 as one goeth H935 (QalInf) into them H2007 from the utter H2435 court. H2691

και αι θυραι των εξεδρων τουτων της εισοδου της προς ανατολας του εισπορευεσθαι δι αυτων εκ της αυλης της εξωτερας

Like the doors of the rooms that were toward the south was a door at the head of the way, even the way directly before the wall toward the east, as one enters into them.

And according to the doors H6607 of the chambers H3957 that [were] toward H1870 the south H1864 [was] a door H6607 in the head H7218 of the way, H1870 [even] the way H1870 directly H1903 before H6440 the wall H1448 toward H1870 the east, H6921 as one entereth H935 (QalInf) into them.

των εξεδρων των προς νοτον και κατα τα θυρωματα απ αρχης του περιπατου ως επι φως διαστηματος καλαμου και κατ ανατολας του εισπορευεσθαι δι αυτων

When the priests enter in, then they shall not go out of the holy place into the outer court until they lay their garments in which they minister there; for they are holy. Then they shall put on other garments, and shall approach that which is for the people.”

ουκ εισελευσονται εκει παρεξ των ιερεων ουκ εξελευσονται εκ του αγιου εις την αυλην την εξωτεραν οπως δια παντος αγιοι ωσιν οι προσαγοντες και μη απτωνται του στολισμου αυτων εν οις λειτουργουσιν εν αυτοις διοτι αγια εστιν και ενδυσονται ιματια ετερα οταν απτωνται του λαου

Behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east. His voice was like the sound of many waters; and the earth was illuminated with his glory.

και ιδου δοξα θεου ισραηλ ηρχετο κατα την οδον της πυλης της βλεπουσης προς ανατολας και φωνη της παρεμβολης ως φωνη διπλασιαζοντων πολλων και η γη εξελαμπεν ως φεγγος απο της δοξης κυκλοθεν

It was like the appearance of the vision which I saw, even according to the vision that I saw when I came to destroy the city; and the visions were like the vision that I saw by the river Chebar; and I fell on my face.

και η ορασις ην ειδον κατα την ορασιν ην ειδον οτε εισεπορευομην του χρισαι την πολιν και η ορασις του αρματος ου ειδον κατα την ορασιν ην ειδον επι του ποταμου του χοβαρ και πιπτω επι προσωπον μου

Yahweh’s glory came into the house by the way of the gate which faces toward the east.

And the glory H3519 of the Lord H3068 came H935 (QalPerf) into the house H1004 by the way H1870 of the gate H8179 whose prospect H6440 [is] toward H1870 the east. H6921

και δοξα κυριου εισηλθεν εις τον οικον κατα την οδον της πυλης της βλεπουσης κατα ανατολας

The Spirit took me up and brought me into the inner court; and behold, Yahweh’s glory filled the house.

και ανελαβεν με πνευμα και εισηγαγεν με εις την αυλην την εσωτεραν και ιδου πληρης δοξης κυριου ο οικος

Yahweh said to me, “This gate shall be shut. It shall not be opened, no man shall enter in by it; for Yahweh, the God of Israel, has entered in by it. Therefore it shall be shut.

Then said H559 (QalImpf) the Lord H3068 unto me; This gate H8179 shall be shut, H5462 (QalPasPtc) it shall not be opened, H6605 (NiphImpf) and no man H376 shall enter H935 (QalImpf) in by it; because the Lord, H3068 the God H430 of Israel, H3478 hath entered H935 (QalPerf) in by it, therefore it shall be shut. και ειπεν κυριος προς με η πυλη αυτη κεκλεισμενη εσται ουκ ανοιχθησεται και ουδεις μη διελθη δι αυτης οτι κυριος ο θεος του ισραηλ εισελευσεται δι αυτης και εσται κεκλεισμενη

As for the prince, he shall sit in it as prince to eat bread before Yahweh. He shall enter by the way of the porch of the gate, and shall go out the same way.”

διοτι ο ηγουμενος ουτος καθησεται εν αυτη του φαγειν αρτον εναντιον κυριου κατα την οδον αιλαμ της πυλης εισελευσεται και κατα την οδον αυτου εξελευσεται

Then he brought me by the way of the north gate before the house; and I looked, and behold, Yahweh’s glory filled Yahweh’s house; so I fell on my face.

Then brought H935 (HiphImpf) he me the way H1870 of the north H6828 gate H8179 before H6440 the house: H1004 and I looked, H7200 (QalImpf) and, behold, the glory H3519 of the Lord H3068 filled H4390 (QalPerf) the house H1004 of the Lord: H3068 and I fell H5307 (QalImpf) upon my face. H6440

και εισηγαγεν με κατα την οδον της πυλης της προς βορραν κατεναντι του οικου και ειδον και ιδου πληρης δοξης ο οικος κυριου και πιπτω επι προσωπον μου

in that you have brought in foreigners, uncircumcised in heart and uncircumcised in flesh, to be in my sanctuary, to profane it, even my house, when you offer my bread, the fat and the blood; and they have broken my covenant, to add to all your abominations.

In that ye have brought H935 (HiphInf) [into my sanctuary] strangers, H1121 H5236 uncircumcised H6189 in heart, H3820 and uncircumcised H6189 in flesh, H1320 to be in my sanctuary, H4720 to pollute H2490 (PielInf) it, [even] my house, H1004 when ye offer H7126 (HiphInf) my bread, H3899 the fat H2459 and the blood, H1818 and they have broken H6565 (HiphImpf) my covenant H1285 because H413 of all your abominations. H8441

του εισαγαγειν υμας υιους αλλογενεις απεριτμητους καρδια και απεριτμητους σαρκι του γινεσθαι εν τοις αγιοις μου και εβεβηλουν αυτα εν τω προσφερειν υμας αρτους στεαρ και αιμα και παρεβαινετε την διαθηκην μου εν πασαις ταις ανομιαις υμων

The Lord Yahweh says, “No foreigner, uncircumcised in heart and uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter into my sanctuary, of any foreigners who are among the children of Israel.

Thus saith H559 (QalPerf) the Lord H136 God; H3069 No stranger, H1121 H5236 uncircumcised H6189 in heart, H3820 nor uncircumcised H6189 in flesh, H1320 shall enter H935 (QalImpf) into my sanctuary, H4720 of any stranger that [is] among H8432 the children H1121 of Israel. H3478

δια τουτο ταδε λεγει κυριος ο θεος πας υιος αλλογενης απεριτμητος καρδια και απεριτμητος σαρκι ουκ εισελευσεται εις τα αγια μου εν πασιν υιοις αλλογενων των οντων εν μεσω οικου ισραηλ

“They shall enter into my sanctuary, and they shall come near to my table, to minister to me, and they shall keep my instruction.

They shall enter H935 (QalImpf) into my sanctuary, H4720 and they shall come near H7126 (QalImpf) to my table, H7979 to minister H8334 (PielInf) unto me, and they shall keep H8104 (QalPerf) my charge. H4931

ουτοι εισελευσονται εις τα αγια μου και ουτοι προσελευσονται προς την τραπεζαν μου του λειτουργειν μοι και φυλαξουσιν τας φυλακας μου

“ ‘ “It will be that when they enter in at the gates of the inner court, they shall be clothed with linen garments. No wool shall come on them while they minister in the gates of the inner court, and within.

And it shall come to pass, [that] when they enter H935 (QalInf) in at the gates H8179 of the inner H6442 court, H2691 they shall be clothed H3847 (QalImpf) with linen H6593 garments; H899 and no wool H6785 shall come H5927 (QalImpf) upon them, whiles they minister H8334 (PielInf) in the gates H8179 of the inner H6442 court, H2691 and within. H1004

και εσται εν τω εισπορευεσθαι αυτους τας πυλας της αυλης της εσωτερας στολας λινας ενδυσονται και ουκ ενδυσονται ερεα εν τω λειτουργειν αυτους απο της πυλης της εσωτερας αυλης

None of the priests shall drink wine when they enter into the inner court.

Neither shall any priest H3548 drink H8354 (QalImpf) wine, H3196 when they enter H935 (QalInf) into the inner H6442 court. H2691

και οινον ου μη πιωσιν πας ιερευς εν τω εισπορευεσθαι αυτους εις την αυλην την εσωτεραν

“ ‘ “They shall go in to no dead person to defile themselves; but for father, or for mother, or for son, or for daughter, for brother, or for sister who has had no husband, they may defile themselves.

And they shall come H935 (QalImpf) at no dead H4191 (QalPtc) person H120 to defile H2930 (QalInf) themselves: but for father, H1 or for mother, H517 or for son, H1121 or for daughter, H1323 for brother, H251 or for sister H269 that hath had no husband, H376 they may defile H2930 (HithImpf) themselves.

και επι ψυχην ανθρωπου ουκ εισελευσονται του μιανθηναι αλλ η επι πατρι και επι μητρι και επι υιω και επι θυγατρι και επι αδελφω και επι αδελφη αυτου η ου γεγονεν ανδρι μιανθησεται

In the day that he goes into the sanctuary, into the inner court, to minister in the sanctuary, he shall offer his sin offering,” says the Lord Yahweh.

And in the day H3117 that he goeth H935 (QalInf) into the sanctuary, H6944 unto the inner H6442 court, H2691 to minister H8334 (PielInf) in the sanctuary, H6944 he shall offer H7126 (HiphImpf) his sin offering, H2403 saith H5002 (QalPasPtc) the Lord H136 God. H3069

και η αν ημερα εισπορευωνται εις την αυλην την εσωτεραν του λειτουργειν εν τω αγιω προσοισουσιν ιλασμον λεγει κυριος ο θεος

The prince shall enter by the way of the porch of the gate outside, and shall stand by the post of the gate; and the priests shall prepare his burnt offering and his peace offerings, and he shall worship at the threshold of the gate. Then he shall go out, but the gate shall not be shut until the evening.

και εισελευσεται ο αφηγουμενος κατα την οδον του αιλαμ της πυλης της εξωθεν και στησεται επι τα προθυρα της πυλης και ποιησουσιν οι ιερεις τα ολοκαυτωματα αυτου και τα του σωτηριου αυτου και προσκυνησει επι του προθυρου της πυλης και εξελευσεται και η πυλη ου μη κλεισθη εως εσπερας

When the prince enters, he shall go in by the way of the porch of the gate, and he shall go out by its way.

και εν τω εισπορευεσθαι τον αφηγουμενον κατα την οδον του αιλαμ της πυλης εισελευσεται και κατα την οδον της πυλης εξελευσεται

“ ‘ “But when the people of the land come before Yahweh in the appointed feasts, he who enters by the way of the north gate to worship shall go out by the way of the south gate; and he who enters by the way of the south gate shall go out by the way of the north gate. He shall not return by the way of the gate by which he came in, but shall go out straight before him.

But when the people H5971 of the land H776 shall come H935 (QalInf) before H6440 the Lord H3068 in the solemn feasts, H4150 he that entereth H935 (QalActPtc) in by the way H1870 of the north H6828 gate H8179 to worship H7812 (HithInf) shall go out H3318 (QalImpf) by the way H1870 of the south H5045 gate; H8179 and he that entereth H935 (QalActPtc) by the way H1870 of the south H5045 gate H8179 shall go forth H3318 (QalImpf) by the way H1870 of the north H6828 gate: H8179 he shall not return H7725 (QalImpf) by the way H1870 of the gate H8179 whereby he came in, H935 (QalPerf) but shall go forth H3318 (QalImpf) over against H5226 it.

και οταν εισπορευηται ο λαος της γης εναντιον κυριου εν ταις εορταις ο εισπορευομενος κατα την οδον της πυλης της προς βορραν προσκυνειν εξελευσεται κατα την οδον της πυλης της προς νοτον και ο εισπορευομενος κατα την οδον της πυλης της προς νοτον εξελευσεται κατα την οδον της πυλης της προς βορραν ουκ αναστρεψει κατα την πυλην ην εισεληλυθεν αλλ η κατ ευθυ αυτης εξελευσεται

The prince shall go in with them when they go in. When they go out, he shall go out.

And the prince H5387 in the midst H8432 of them, when they go in, H935 (QalInf) shall go in; H935 (QalImpf) and when they go forth, H3318 (QalInf) shall go forth. H3318 (QalImpf)

και ο αφηγουμενος εν μεσω αυτων εν τω εισπορευεσθαι αυτους εισελευσεται μετ αυτων και εν τω εκπορευεσθαι αυτους εξελευσεται

Then he brought me through the entry, which was at the side of the gate, into the holy rooms for the priests, which looked toward the north. Behold, there was a place on the back part westward.

After he brought H935 (HiphImpf) me through the entry, H3996 which [was] at the side H3802 of the gate, H8179 into the holy H6944 chambers H3957 of the priests, H3548 which looked H6437 (QalActPtc) toward the north: H6828 and, behold, there [was] a place H4725 on the two sides H3411 westward. και εισηγαγεν με εις την εισοδον της κατα νωτου της πυλης εις την εξεδραν των αγιων των ιερεων την βλεπουσαν προς βορραν και ιδου τοπος εκει κεχωρισμενος

Then he said to me, “These waters flow out toward the eastern region and will go down into the Arabah. Then they will go toward the sea and flow into the sea which will be made to flow out; and the waters will be healed.

Then said H559 (QalImpf) he unto me, These waters H4325 issue out H3318 (QalActPtc) toward the east H6930 country, H1552 and go down H3381 (QalPerf) into the desert, H6160 and go H935 (QalPerf) into the sea: H3220 [which being] brought forth H3318 (HophPtc) into the sea, H3220 the waters H4325 shall be healed. H7495 (NiphPerf)

και ειπεν προς με το υδωρ τουτο το εκπορευομενον εις την γαλιλαιαν την προς ανατολας και κατεβαινεν επι την αραβιαν και ηρχετο εως επι την θαλασσαν επι το υδωρ της διεκβολης και υγιασει τα υδατα

It will happen that every living creature which swarms, in every place where the rivers come, will live. Then there will be a very great multitude of fish; for these waters have come there, and the waters of the sea will be healed, and everything will live wherever the river comes.

And it shall come to pass, [that] every thing H5315 that liveth, H2416 which moveth, H8317 (QalImpf) whithersoever the rivers H5158 shall come, H935 (QalImpf) shall live: H2421 (QalImpf) and there shall be a very H3966 great H7227 multitude of fish, H1710 because these waters H4325 shall come H935 (QalPerf) thither: for they shall be healed; H7495 (NiphImpf) and every thing shall live H2425 (QalPerf) whither the river H5158 cometh. H935 (QalImpf)

και εσται πασα ψυχη των ζωων των εκζεοντων επι παντα εφ α αν επελθη εκει ο ποταμος ζησεται και εσται εκει ιχθυς πολυς σφοδρα οτι ηκει εκει το υδωρ τουτο και υγιασει και ζησεται παν εφ ο αν επελθη ο ποταμος εκει ζησεται

“This shall be the border of the land: “On the north side, from the great sea, by the way of Hethlon, to the entrance of Zedad;

And this [shall be] the border H1366 of the land H776 toward the north H6828 side, H6285 from the great H1419 sea, H3220 the way H1870 of Hethlon, H2855 as men go H935 (QalInf) to Zedad; H6657

και ταυτα τα ορια της γης προς βορραν απο της θαλασσης της μεγαλης της καταβαινουσης και περισχιζουσης της εισοδου ημαθ σεδδαδα

“The west side shall be the great sea, from the south border as far as opposite the entrance of Hamath. This is the west side.

The west H3220 side H6285 also [shall be] the great H1419 sea H3220 from the border, H1366 till a man come H935 (QalInf) over against H5227 Hamath. H2574 This [is] the west H3220 side. H6285

τουτο το μερος της θαλασσης της μεγαλης οριζει εως κατεναντι της εισοδου ημαθ εως εισοδου αυτου ταυτα εστιν τα προς θαλασσαν ημαθ

“Now these are the names of the tribes: From the north end, beside the way of Hethlon to the entrance of Hamath, Hazar Enan at the border of Damascus, northward beside Hamath (and they shall have their sides east and west), Dan, one portion.

Now these [are] the names H8034 of the tribes. και ταυτα τα ονοματα των φυλων απο της αρχης της προς βορραν κατα το μερος της καταβασεως του περισχιζοντος επι την εισοδον της ημαθ αυλης του αιναν οριον δαμασκου προς βορραν κατα μερος ημαθ αυλης και εσται αυτοις τα προς ανατολας εως προς θαλασσαν δαν μια

In the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim king of Judah, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came to Jerusalem and besieged it.

In the third H7969 year H8141 of the reign H4438 of Jehoiakim H3079 king H4428 of Judah H3063 came H935 (QalPerf) Nebuchadnezzar H5019 king H4428 of Babylon H894 unto Jerusalem, H3389 and besieged H6696 (QalImpf) it.

εν ετει τριτω της βασιλειας ιωακιμ βασιλεως ιουδα ηλθεν ναβουχοδονοσορ βασιλευς βαβυλωνος εις ιερουσαλημ και επολιορκει αυτην

The Lord^§ gave Jehoiakim king of Judah into his hand, with some of the vessels of the house of God;^§ and he carried them into the land of Shinar to the house of his god. He brought the vessels into the treasure house of his god.

και εδωκεν κυριος εν χειρι αυτου τον ιωακιμ βασιλεα ιουδα και απο μερους των σκευων οικου του θεου και ηνεγκεν αυτα εις γην σεννααρ οικον του θεου αυτου και τα σκευη εισηνεγκεν εις τον οικον θησαυρου του θεου αυτου

The king spoke to Ashpenaz, the master of his eunuchs, that he should bring in some of the children of Israel, even of the royal offspring^§ and of the nobles:

At the end of the days which the king had appointed for bringing them in, the prince of the eunuchs brought them in before Nebuchadnezzar.

και μετα το τελος των ημερων ων ειπεν ο βασιλευς εισαγαγειν αυτους και εισηγαγεν αυτους ο αρχιευνουχος εναντιον ναβουχοδονοσορ

Then the king commanded that the magicians, the enchanters, the sorcerers, and the Chaldeans be called to tell the king his dreams. So they came in and stood before the king.

και εγω ημην συνιων και ιδου τραγος αιγων ηρχετο απο λιβος επι προσωπον πασης της γης και ουκ ην απτομενος της γης και τω τραγω κερας θεωρητον ανα μεσον των οφθαλμων αυτου

He came to the ram that had the two horns, which I saw standing before the river, and ran on him in the fury of his power.

He has confirmed his words, which he spoke against us and against our judges who judged us, by bringing on us a great evil; for under the whole sky, such has not been done as has been done to Jerusalem.

As it is written in the law of Moses, all this evil has come on us. Yet we have not entreated the favor of Yahweh our God, that we should turn from our iniquities and have discernment in your truth.

“Seventy weeks are decreed on your people and on your holy city, to finish disobedience, to make an end of sins, to make reconciliation for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most holy.

εβδομηκοντα εβδομαδες συνετμηθησαν επι τον λαον σου και επι την πολιν την αγιαν σου του συντελεσθηναι αμαρτιαν και του σφραγισαι αμαρτιας και απαλειψαι τας ανομιας και του εξιλασασθαι αδικιας και του αγαγειν δικαιοσυνην αιωνιον και του σφραγισαι ορασιν και προφητην και του χρισαι αγιον αγιων

After the sixty-two weeks the Anointed One^§ will be cut off, and will have nothing. The people of the prince who come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. Its end will be with a flood, and war will be even to the end. Desolations are determined.

Daniel 9:26 “Anointed One” can also be translated “Messiah” (same as “Christ”).

και μετα τας εβδομαδας τας εξηκοντα δυο εξολεθρευθησεται χρισμα και κριμα ουκ εστιν εν αυτω και την πολιν και το αγιον διαφθερει συν τω ηγουμενω τω ερχομενω και εκκοπησονται εν κατακλυσμω και εως τελους πολεμου συντετμημενου ταξει αφανισμοις

I ate no pleasant food. No meat or wine came into my mouth. I didn’t anoint myself at all, until three whole weeks were fulfilled.

Then he said to me, “Don’t be afraid, Daniel; for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard. I have come for your words’ sake.

και ειπεν προς με μη φοβου δανιηλ οτι απο της πρωτης ημερας ης εδωκας την καρδιαν σου του συνιεναι και κακωθηναι εναντιον του θεου σου ηκουσθησαν οι λογοι σου και εγω ηλθον εν τοις λογοις σου

But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days; but, behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me because I remained there with the kings of Persia.

και ο αρχων βασιλειας περσων ειστηκει εξ εναντιας μου εικοσι και μιαν ημεραν και ιδου μιχαηλ εις των αρχοντων των πρωτων ηλθεν βοηθησαι μοι και αυτον κατελιπον εκει μετα του αρχοντος βασιλειας περσων

Now I have come to make you understand what will happen to your people in the latter days, for the vision is yet for many days.”

και ηλθον συνετισαι σε οσα απαντησεται τω λαω σου επ εσχατων των ημερων οτι ετι η ορασις εις ημερας

Then he said, “Do you know why I have come to you? Now I will return to fight with the prince of Persia. When I go out, behold, the prince of Greece will come.
