ζη κυριος και ευλογητος ο φυλαξ μου και υψωθησεται ο θεος μου ο φυλαξ της σωτηριας μου

Isn’t my house so with God? Yet he has made with me an everlasting covenant, ordered in all things, and sure, for it is all my salvation and all my desire. Won’t he make it grow?

Say, “Save us, God of our salvation! Gather us together and deliver us from the nations, to give thanks to your holy name, to triumph in your praise.”

His children are far from safety. They are crushed in the gate. Neither is there any to deliver them,

τον ποιουντα ταπεινους εις υψος και απολωλοτας εξεγειροντα

“Because of the oppression of the weak and because of the groaning of the needy, I will now arise,” says Yahweh; “I will set him in safety from those who malign him.”

^[11:6] απο της ταλαιπωριας των πτωχων και απο του στεναγμου των πενητων νυν αναστησομαι λεγει κυριος θησομαι εν σωτηρια παρρησιασομαι εν αυτω

Yahweh is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower.

You have also given me the shield of your salvation. Your right hand sustains me. Your gentleness has made me great.

Now I know that Yahweh saves his anointed. He will answer him from his holy heaven, with the saving strength of his right hand.

He shall receive a blessing from Yahweh, righteousness from the God of his salvation.

Don’t hide your face from me. Don’t put your servant away in anger. You have been my help. Don’t abandon me, neither forsake me, God of my salvation.

^[26:9] μη αποστρεψης το προσωπον σου απ εμου μη εκκλινης εν οργη απο του δουλου σου βοηθος μου γενου μη αποσκορακισης με και μη εγκαταλιπης με ο θεος ο σωτηρ μου

Whoever offers the sacrifice of thanksgiving glorifies me, and prepares his way so that I will show God’s salvation to him.”

^[49:23] θυσια αινεσεως δοξασει με και εκει οδος η δειξω αυτω το σωτηριον του θεου

Restore to me the joy of your salvation. Uphold me with a willing spirit.

My salvation and my honor is with God. The rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.

Help us, God of our salvation, for the glory of your name. Deliver us, and forgive our sins, for your name’s sake.

Surely his salvation is near those who fear him, that glory may dwell in our land.

^[94:1] αινος ωδης τω δαυιδ δευτε αγαλλιασωμεθα τω κυριω αλαλαξωμεν τω θεω τω σωτηρι ημων

I will also clothe her priests with salvation. Her saints will shout aloud for joy.

Rain, you heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness. Let the earth open, that it may produce salvation, and let it cause righteousness to spring up with it. I, Yahweh, have created it.

ευφρανθητω ο ουρανος ανωθεν και αι νεφελαι ρανατωσαν δικαιοσυνην ανατειλατω η γη ελεος και δικαιοσυνην ανατειλατω αμα εγω ειμι κυριος ο κτισας σε

My righteousness is near. My salvation has gone out, and my arms will judge the peoples. The islands will wait for me, and they will trust my arm.

I will greatly rejoice in Yahweh! My soul will be joyful in my God, for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation. He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with a garland and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

και ευφροσυνη ευφρανθησονται επι κυριον αγαλλιασθω η ψυχη μου επι τω κυριω ενεδυσεν γαρ με ιματιον σωτηριου και χιτωνα ευφροσυνης ως νυμφιω περιεθηκεν μοι μιτραν και ως νυμφην κατεκοσμησεν με κοσμω

Behold, Yahweh has proclaimed to the end of the earth: “Say to the daughter of Zion, ‘Behold, your salvation comes! Behold, his reward is with him, and his recompense before him!’ ”

ιδου γαρ κυριος εποιησεν ακουστον εως εσχατου της γης ειπατε τη θυγατρι σιων ιδου σοι ο σωτηρ παραγινεται εχων τον εαυτου μισθον και το εργον προ προσωπου αυτου

But as for me, I will look to Yahweh. I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me.

εξηλθες εις σωτηριαν λαου σου του σωσαι τους χριστους σου εβαλες εις κεφαλας ανομων θανατον εξηγειρας δεσμους εως τραχηλου διαψαλμα

yet I will rejoice in Yahweh. I will be joyful in the God of my salvation!
