Moses said to them, “If the children of Gad and the children of Reuben will pass with you over the Jordan, every man who is armed to battle before Yahweh, and the land is subdued before you, then you shall give them the land of Gilead for a possession;

“ ‘But if he struck him with an instrument of iron, so that he died, he is a murderer. The murderer shall surely be put to death.

If he struck him with a stone in the hand, by which a man may die, and he died, he is a murderer. The murderer shall surely be put to death.

For if you shall diligently keep all these commandments which I command you—to do them, to love Yahweh your God, to walk in all his ways, and to cling to him—

and the curse, if you do not listen to the commandments of Yahweh your God, but turn away out of the way which I command you today, to go after other gods which you have not known.

but you shall eat them before Yahweh your God in the place which Yahweh your God shall choose: you, your son, your daughter, your male servant, your female servant, and the Levite who is within your gates. You shall rejoice before Yahweh your God in all that you put your hand to.

but at the place which Yahweh your God shall choose to cause his name to dwell in, there you shall sacrifice the Passover at evening, at the going down of the sun, at the season that you came out of Egypt.

If Yahweh your God enlarges your border, as he has sworn to your fathers, and gives you all the land which he promised to give to your fathers;

εαν δε εμπλατυνη κυριος ο θεος σου τα ορια σου ον τροπον ωμοσεν τοις πατρασιν σου και δω σοι κυριος πασαν την γην ην ειπεν δουναι τοις πατρασιν σου

It shall be, if it gives you answer of peace and opens to you, then it shall be that all the people who are found therein shall become forced laborers to you, and shall serve you.

And it shall be, if it make thee answer H6030 (QalImpf) of peace, H7965 and open H6605 (QalPerf) unto thee, then it shall be, that all the people H5971 that is found H4672 (NiphPtc) therein shall be tributaries H4522 unto thee, and they shall serve H5647 (QalPerf) thee.

εαν μεν ειρηνικα αποκριθωσιν σοι και ανοιξωσιν σοι εσται πας ο λαος οι ευρεθεντες εν αυτη εσονται σοι φορολογητοι και υπηκοοι σου

If it will make no peace with you, but will make war against you, then you shall besiege it.

And if it will make no peace H7999 (HiphImpf) with thee, but will make H6213 (QalPerf) war H4421 against thee, then thou shalt besiege H6696 (QalPerf) it:

εαν δε μη υπακουσωσιν σοι και ποιησωσιν προς σε πολεμον περικαθιεις αυτην

It shall be, if you have no delight in her, then you shall let her go where she desires; but you shall not sell her at all for money. You shall not deal with her as a slave, because you have humbled her.
