Moses came and called for the elders of the people, and set before them all these words which Yahweh commanded him.

On the third day, when it was morning, there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud on the mountain, and the sound of an exceedingly loud trumpet; and all the people who were in the camp trembled.

All the people perceived the thunderings, the lightnings, the sound of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking. When the people saw it, they trembled, and stayed at a distance.

“Whoever has sex with an animal shall surely be put to death.

“You shall not take advantage of any widow or fatherless child.

“Be careful to do all things that I have said to you; and don’t invoke the name of other gods or even let them be heard out of your mouth.

Three times in the year all your males shall appear before the Lord Yahweh.

Moses came and told the people all Yahweh’s words, and all the ordinances; and all the people answered with one voice, and said, “All the words which Yahweh has spoken will we do.”

Moses wrote all Yahweh’s words, then rose up early in the morning and built an altar at the base of the mountain, with twelve pillars for the twelve tribes of Israel.

He took the book of the covenant and read it in the hearing of the people, and they said, “We will do all that Yahweh has said, and be obedient.”

Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, “Look, this is the blood of the covenant, which Yahweh has made with you concerning all these words.”

και συ λαλησον πασι τοις σοφοις τη διανοια ους ενεπλησα πνευματος αισθησεως και ποιησουσιν την στολην την αγιαν ααρων εις το αγιον εν η ιερατευσει μοι

It shall be on Aaron’s forehead, and Aaron shall bear the iniquity of the holy things, which the children of Israel shall make holy in all their holy gifts; and it shall be always on his forehead, that they may be accepted before Yahweh.

You shall take of the blood of the bull, and put it on the horns of the altar with your finger; and you shall pour out all the blood at the base of the altar.

You shall take all the fat that covers the innards, the cover of the liver, the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, and burn them on the altar.

Exodus 29:13 It seemeth by anatomy, and the Hebrew doctors, to be the midriff

You shall burn the whole ram on the altar: it is a burnt offering to Yahweh; it is a pleasant aroma, an offering made by fire to Yahweh.

και ανοισεις ολον τον κριον επι το θυσιαστηριον ολοκαυτωμα κυριω εις οσμην ευωδιας θυσιασμα κυριω εστιν

You shall put all of this in Aaron’s hands, and in his sons’ hands, and shall wave them for a wave offering before Yahweh.

Exodus 29:24 Or, shake to and fro

και επιθησεις τα παντα επι τας χειρας ααρων και επι τας χειρας των υιων αυτου και αφοριεις αυτους αφορισμα εναντι κυριου

“You shall do so to Aaron and to his sons, according to all that I have commanded you. You shall consecrate them seven days.

Seven days you shall make atonement for the altar, and sanctify it; and the altar shall be most holy. Whatever touches the altar shall be holy.

επτα ημερας καθαριεις το θυσιαστηριον και αγιασεις αυτο και εσται το θυσιαστηριον αγιον του αγιου πας ο απτομενος του θυσιαστηριου αγιασθησεται

They shall give this, everyone who passes over to those who are counted, half a shekel according to the shekel° of the sanctuary (the shekel is twenty gerahs);° half a shekel for an offering to Yahweh.

Exodus 30:13a A shekel is about 10 grams or about 0.35 ounces.
Exodus 30:13b A gerah is about 0.5 grams or about 7.7 grains

This they shall give, H5414 (QalImpf) every one that passeth H5674 (QalActPtc) among H5921 them that are numbered, H6485 (QalPasPtc) half H4276 a shekel H8255 after the shekel H8255 of the sanctuary: H6944 (a shekel H8255 is twenty H6242 gerahs:) H1626 an half H4276 shekel H8255 shall be the offering H8641 of the Lord. και τουτο εστιν ο δωσουσιν οσοι αν παραπορευωνται την επισκεψιν το ημισυ του διδραχμου ο εστιν κατα το διδραχμον το αγιον εικοσι οβολοι το διδραχμον το δε ημισυ του διδραχμου εισφορα κυριω

Everyone who passes over to those who are counted, from twenty years old and upward, shall give the offering to Yahweh.

Every one that passeth H5674 (QalActPtc) among them that are numbered, H6485 (QalPasPtc) from twenty H6242 years H8141 old H1121 and above, H4605 shall give H5414 (QalImpf) an offering H8641 unto the Lord. H3068
