νυν ουν ακουσον μου και συμβουλευσω σοι και εσται ο θεος μετα σου γινου συ τω λαω τα προς τον θεον και ανοισεις τους λογους αυτων προς τον θεον

You shall couple five curtains by themselves, and six curtains by themselves, and shall double over the sixth curtain in the forefront of the tent.

And thou shalt couple H2266 (PielPerf) five H2568 curtains H3407 by themselves, and six H8337 curtains H3407 by themselves, and shalt double H3717 (QalPerf) the sixth H8345 curtain H3407 in the forefront H4136 H6440 of the tabernacle. H168

και συναψεις τας πεντε δερρεις επι το αυτο και τας εξ δερρεις επι το αυτο και επιδιπλωσεις την δερριν την εκτην κατα προσωπον της σκηνης

The other two ends of the two braided chains you shall put on the two settings, and put them on the shoulder straps of the ephod in its forepart.

And [the other] two H8147 ends H7098 of the two H8147 wreathen H5688 [chains] thou shalt fasten H5414 (QalImpf) in the two H8147 ouches, H4865 and put H5414 (QalPerf) [them] on the shoulderpieces H3802 of the ephod H646 before H6440 it. H4136

You shall make two rings of gold, and shall put them on the two shoulder straps of the ephod underneath, in its forepart, close by its coupling, above the skillfully woven band of the ephod.

And two H8147 [other] rings H2885 of gold H2091 thou shalt make, H6213 (QalPerf) and shalt put H5414 (QalPerf) them on the two H8147 sides H3802 of the ephod H646 underneath, H4295 toward H4136 the forepart H6440 thereof, over against H5980 the [other] coupling H4225 thereof, above H4605 the curious girdle H2805 of the ephod. H646

You shall put it on a lace of blue, and it shall be on the sash. It shall be on the front of the sash.

And thou shalt put H7760 (QalPerf) it on a blue H8504 lace, H6616 that it may be upon the mitre; H4701 upon the forefront H6440 H4136 of the mitre H4701 it shall be.

και επιθησεις αυτο επι υακινθου κεκλωσμενης και εσται επι της μιτρας κατα προσωπον της μιτρας εσται

No one shall come up with you or be seen anywhere on the mountain. Do not let the flocks or herds graze in front of that mountain.”

And no man H376 shall come up H5927 (QalImpf) with thee, neither H408 let any man H376 be seen H7200 (NiphImpf) throughout all the mount; H2022 neither let the flocks H6629 nor herds H1241 feed H7462 (QalImpf) before H4136 that mount. H2022

και μηδεις αναβητω μετα σου μηδε οφθητω εν παντι τω ορει και τα προβατα και αι βοες μη νεμεσθωσαν πλησιον του ορους εκεινου

They made two more rings of gold, and put them on the two shoulder straps of the ephod underneath, in its front, close by its coupling, above the skillfully woven band of the ephod.

^[36:27] και εποιησαν δυο δακτυλιους χρυσους και επεθηκαν επ αμφοτερους τους ωμους της επωμιδος κατωθεν αυτου κατα προσωπον κατα την συμβολην ανωθεν της συνυφης της επωμιδος

He shall bring them to the priest, who shall first offer the one which is for the sin offering. He shall wring off its head from its neck, but shall not sever it completely.

And he shall bring H935 (HiphPerf) them unto the priest, H3548 who shall offer H7126 (HiphPerf) [that] which [is] for the sin offering H2403 first, H7223 and wring off H4454 (QalPerf) his head H7218 from H4136 his neck, H6203 but shall not divide [it] asunder: H914 (HiphImpf)

και οισει αυτα προς τον ιερεα και προσαξει ο ιερευς το περι της αμαρτιας προτερον και αποκνισει ο ιερευς την κεφαλην αυτου απο του σφονδυλου και ου διελει

He set the turban on his head. He set the golden plate, the holy crown, on the front of the turban, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

And he put H7760 (QalImpf) the mitre H4701 upon his head; H7218 also upon the mitre, H4701 [even] upon his forefront, H6440 H4136 did he put H7760 (QalImpf) the golden H2091 plate, H6731 the holy H6944 crown; H5145 as the Lord H3068 commanded H6680 (PielPerf) Moses. H4872

και επεθηκεν την μιτραν επι την κεφαλην αυτου και επεθηκεν επι την μιτραν κατα προσωπον αυτου το πεταλον το χρυσουν το καθηγιασμενον αγιον ον τροπον συνεταξεν κυριος τω μωυση

“Speak to Aaron, and tell him, ‘When you light the lamps, the seven lamps shall give light in front of the lamp stand.’ ”

Speak H1696 (PielImpv) unto Aaron, H175 and say H559 (QalPerf) unto him, When thou lightest H5927 (HiphInf) the lamps, H5216 the seven H7651 lamps H5216 shall give light H215 (HiphImpf) over against H6440 H4136 the candlestick. H4501

λαλησον τω ααρων και ερεις προς αυτον οταν επιτιθης τους λυχνους εκ μερους κατα προσωπον της λυχνιας φωτιουσιν οι επτα λυχνοι

Aaron did so. He lit its lamps to light the area in front of the lamp stand, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

And Aaron H175 did H6213 (QalImpf) so; he lighted H5927 (HiphPerf) the lamps H5216 thereof over against H4136 H6440 the candlestick, H4501 as the Lord H3068 commanded H6680 (PielPerf) Moses. H4872

και εποιησεν ουτως ααρων εκ του ενος μερους κατα προσωπον της λυχνιας εξηψεν τους λυχνους αυτης καθα συνεταξεν κυριος τω μωυση

He sent messengers to Balaam the son of Beor, to Pethor, which is by the River, to the land of the children of his people, to call him, saying, “Behold, there is a people who came out of Egypt. Behold, they cover the surface of the earth, and they are staying opposite me.

He sent H7971 (QalImpf) messengers H4397 therefore unto Balaam H1109 the son H1121 of Beor H1160 to Pethor, H6604 which [is] by the river H5104 of the land H776 of the children H1121 of his people, H5971 to call H7121 (QalInf) him, saying, H559 (QalInf) Behold, there is a people H5971 come out H3318 (QalPerf) from Egypt: H4714 behold, they cover H3680 (PielPerf) the face H5869 of the earth, H776 and they abide H3427 (QalActPtc) over against H4136 me:

και απεστειλεν πρεσβεις προς βαλααμ υιον βεωρ φαθουρα ο εστιν επι του ποταμου γης υιων λαου αυτου καλεσαι αυτον λεγων ιδου λαος εξεληλυθεν εξ αιγυπτου και ιδου κατεκαλυψεν την οψιν της γης και ουτος εγκαθηται εχομενος μου

These are the words which Moses spoke to all Israel beyond the Jordan in the wilderness, in the Arabah opposite Suf, between Paran, Tophel, Laban, Hazeroth, and Dizahab.

These [be] the words H1697 which Moses H4872 spake H1696 (PielPerf) unto all Israel H3478 on this side H5676 Jordan H3383 in the wilderness, H4057 in the plain H6160 over against H4136 the Red H5489 [sea], between Paran, H6290 and Tophel, H8603 and Laban, H3837 and Hazeroth, H2698 and Dizahab. ουτοι οι λογοι ους ελαλησεν μωυσης παντι ισραηλ περαν του ιορδανου εν τη ερημω προς δυσμαις πλησιον της ερυθρας ανα μεσον φαραν τοφολ και λοβον και αυλων και καταχρυσεα

When you come near the border of the children of Ammon, don’t bother them, nor contend with them; for I will not give you any of the land of the children of Ammon for a possession, because I have given it to the children of Lot for a possession.”

And [when] thou comest nigh H7126 (QalPerf) over against H4136 the children H1121 of Ammon, H5983 distress H6696 (QalImpf) them not, nor meddle H1624 (HithImpf) with them: for I will not give H5414 (QalImpf) thee of the land H776 of the children H1121 of Ammon H5983 [any] possession; H3425 because I have given H5414 (QalPerf) it unto the children H1121 of Lot H3876 [for] a possession. H3425

και προσαξετε εγγυς υιων αμμαν μη εχθραινετε αυτοις και μη συναψητε αυτοις εις πολεμον ου γαρ μη δω απο της γης υιων αμμαν σοι εν κληρω οτι τοις υιοις λωτ δεδωκα αυτην εν κληρω

So we stayed in the valley near Beth Peor.

So we abode H3427 (QalImpf) in the valley H1516 over against H4136 Bethpeor. H1047

και ενεκαθημεθα εν ναπη συνεγγυς οικου φογωρ

beyond the Jordan, in the valley opposite Beth Peor, in the land of Sihon king of the Amorites, who lived at Heshbon, whom Moses and the children of Israel struck when they came out of Egypt.

On this side H5676 Jordan, H3383 in the valley H1516 over against H4136 Bethpeor, H1047 in the land H776 of Sihon H5511 king H4428 of the Amorites, H567 who dwelt H3427 (QalActPtc) at Heshbon, H2809 whom Moses H4872 and the children H1121 of Israel H3478 smote, H5221 (HiphPerf) after they were come forth H3318 (QalInf) out of Egypt: H4714

εν τω περαν του ιορδανου εν φαραγγι εγγυς οικου φογωρ εν γη σηων βασιλεως των αμορραιων ος κατωκει εν εσεβων ους επαταξεν μωυσης και οι υιοι ισραηλ εξελθοντων αυτων εκ γης αιγυπτου

Aren’t they beyond the Jordan, behind the way of the going down of the sun, in the land of the Canaanites who dwell in the Arabah near Gilgal, beside the oaks of Moreh?

[Are] they not on the other side H5676 Jordan, H3383 by H310 the way H1870 where the sun H8121 goeth down, H3996 in the land H776 of the Canaanites, H3669 which dwell H3427 (QalActPtc) in the champaign H6160 over against H4136 Gilgal, H1537 beside H681 the plains H436 of Moreh? H4176

ουκ ιδου ταυτα περαν του ιορδανου οπισω οδον δυσμων ηλιου εν γη χανααν το κατοικουν επι δυσμων εχομενον του γολγολ πλησιον της δρυος της υψηλης

He buried him in the valley in the land of Moab opposite Beth Peor, but no man knows where his tomb is to this day.

And he buried H6912 (QalImpf) him in a valley H1516 in the land H776 of Moab, H4124 over against H4136 Bethpeor: H1047 but no man H376 knoweth H3045 (QalPerf) of his sepulchre H6900 unto this day. H3117

και εθαψαν αυτον εν γαι εν γη μωαβ εγγυς οικου φογωρ και ουκ οιδεν ουδεις την ταφην αυτου εως της ημερας ταυτης

All Israel, with their elders, officers, and judges, stood on both sides of the ark before the Levitical priests, who carried the ark of Yahweh’s covenant, the foreigner as well as the native; half of them in front of Mount Gerizim, and half of them in front of Mount Ebal, as Moses the servant of Yahweh had commanded at the first, that they should bless the people of Israel.

And all Israel, H3478 and their elders, H2205 and officers, H7860 (QalActPtc) and their judges, H8199 (QalActPtc) stood H5975 (QalActPtc) on this side the ark H727 and on that side before the priests H3548 the Levites, H3881 which bare H5375 (QalActPtc) the ark H727 of the covenant H1285 of the Lord, H3068 as well the stranger, H1616 as he that was born H249 among them; half H2677 of them over H413 against H4136 mount H2022 Gerizim, H1630 and half H2677 of them over against H4136 mount H2022 Ebal; H5858 as Moses H4872 the servant H5650 of the Lord H3068 had commanded H6680 (PielPerf) before, H7223 that they should bless H1288 (PielInf) the people H5971 of Israel. When all the kings who were beyond the Jordan, in the hill country, and in the lowland, and on all the shore of the great sea in front of Lebanon, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite, heard of it

And it came to pass, when all the kings H4428 which [were] on this side H5676 Jordan, H3383 in the hills, H2022 and in the valleys, H8219 and in all the coasts H2348 of the great H1419 sea H3220 over against H4136 Lebanon, H3844 the Hittite, H2850 and the Amorite, H567 the Canaanite, H3669 the Perizzite, H6522 the Hivite, H2340 and the Jebusite, H2983 heard H8085 (QalInf) [thereof];

ως δ ηκουσαν οι βασιλεις των αμορραιων οι εν τω περαν του ιορδανου οι εν τη ορεινη και οι εν τη πεδινη και οι εν παση τη παραλια της θαλασσης της μεγαλης και οι προς τω αντιλιβανω και οι χετταιοι και οι χαναναιοι και οι φερεζαιοι και οι ευαιοι και οι αμορραιοι και οι γεργεσαιοι και οι ιεβουσαιοι

It passed along to the side opposite the Arabah northward, and went down to the Arabah.

And passed along H5674 (QalPerf) toward the side H3802 over against H4136 Arabah H6160 northward, H6828 and went down H3381 (QalPerf) unto Arabah: H6160

και διελευσεται κατα νωτου βαιθαραβα απο βορρα και καταβησεται

Me Jarkon, and Rakkon, with the border opposite Joppa.

And Mejarkon, H4313 and Rakkon, H7542 with the border H1366 before H4136 Japho. H3305

και απο θαλασσης ιερακων οριον πλησιον ιοππης

The children of Israel heard this, “Behold, the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh have built an altar along the border of the land of Canaan, in the region around the Jordan, on the side that belongs to the children of Israel.”

And the children H1121 of Israel H3478 heard H8085 (QalImpf) say, H559 (QalInf) Behold, the children H1121 of Reuben H7205 and the children H1121 of Gad H1410 and the half H2677 tribe H7626 of Manasseh H4519 have built H1129 (QalPerf) an altar H4196 over against H4136 the land H776 of Canaan, H3667 in the borders H1552 of Jordan, H3383 at the passage H5676 of the children H1121 of Israel. και ηκουσαν οι υιοι ισραηλ λεγοντων ιδου ωκοδομησαν οι υιοι γαδ και οι υιοι ρουβην και το ημισυ φυλης μανασση βωμον εφ οριων γης χανααν επι του γαλααδ του ιορδανου εν τω περαν υιων ισραηλ

The one crag rose up on the north in front of Michmash, and the other on the south in front of Geba.

The forefront H8127 of the one H259 [was] situate H4690 northward H6828 over against H4136 Michmash, H4363 and the other H259 southward H5045 over against H4136 Gibeah. H1387

η οδος η μια απο βορρα ερχομενω μαχμας και η οδος η αλλη απο νοτου ερχομενω γαβεε

He turned away from him toward another, and spoke like that again; and the people answered him again the same way.

When David inquired of Yahweh, he said, “You shall not go up. Circle around behind them, and attack them in front of the mulberry trees.

και επηρωτησεν δαυιδ δια κυριου και ειπεν κυριος ουκ αναβησει εις συναντησιν αυτων αποστρεφου απ αυτων και παρεσει αυτοις πλησιον του κλαυθμωνος

He wrote in the letter, saying, “Send Uriah to the forefront of the hottest battle, and retreat from him, that he may be struck and die.”

και εγραψεν εν τω βιβλιω λεγων εισαγαγε τον ουριαν εξ εναντιας του πολεμου του κραταιου και αποστραφησεσθε απο οπισθεν αυτου και πληγησεται και αποθανειται

All the doors and posts were made square with beams; and window was facing window in three ranks.

And all the doors H6607 and posts H4201 [were] square, H7251 (QalPasPtc) with the windows: H8260 and light H4237 [was] against H4136 light H4237 [in] three H7969 ranks. H6471

^[7:42] και παντα τα θυρωματα και αι χωραι τετραγωνοι μεμελαθρωμεναι και απο του θυρωματος επι θυραν τρισσως

He set the bases, five on the right side of the house and five on the left side of the house. He set the sea on the right side of the house eastward and toward the south.

David inquired again of God; and God said to him, “You shall not go up after them. Turn away from them, and come on them opposite the mulberry trees.

και ηρωτησεν δαυιδ ετι εν θεω και ειπεν αυτω ο θεος ου πορευση οπισω αυτων αποστρεφου απ αυτων και παρεση αυτοις πλησιον των απιων

He set the sea on the right side of the house eastward, toward the south.

και την θαλασσαν εθηκεν απο γωνιας του οικου εκ δεξιων ως προς ανατολας κατεναντι

The other company of those who gave thanks went to meet them, and I after them, with the half of the people on the wall above the tower of the furnaces, even to the wide wall,

και περι αινεσεως η δευτερα επορευετο συναντωσα αυτοις και εγω οπισω αυτης και το ημισυ του λαου επανω του τειχους υπερανω του πυργου των θεννουριμ και εως του τειχους του πλατεος

But lately my people have risen up as an enemy. You strip the robe and clothing from those who pass by without a care, returning from battle.

Even of late H865 my people H5971 is risen up H6965 (PoleImpf) as an enemy: H341 (QalActPtc) ye pull off H6584 (HiphImpf) the robe H145 with H4136 the garment H8008 from them that pass H5674 (QalActPtc) by securely H983 as men averse H7725 (QalPasPtc) from war. H4421

και εμπροσθεν ο λαος μου εις εχθραν αντεστη κατεναντι της ειρηνης αυτου την δοραν αυτου εξεδειραν του αφελεσθαι ελπιδα συντριμμον πολεμου
