ιδου γαρ κυριος απο του αγιου επαγει την οργην επι τους ενοικουντας επι της γης και ανακαλυψει η γη το αιμα αυτης και ου κατακαλυψει τους ανηρημενους

and a spirit of justice to him who sits in judgment, and strength to those who turn back the battle at the gate.

and for a spirit H7307 of judgment H4941 to him that sitteth H3427 (QalActPtc) in judgment, H4941 and for strength H1369 to them that turn H7725 (HiphPtc) the battle H4421 to the gate. H8179

καταλειφθησονται επι πνευματι κρισεως επι κρισιν και ισχυν κωλυων ανελειν

For the people will dwell in Zion at Jerusalem. You will weep no more. He will surely be gracious to you at the voice of your cry. When he hears you, he will answer you.

For the people H5971 shall dwell H3427 (QalImpf) in Zion H6726 at Jerusalem: H3389 thou shalt weep H1058 (QalImpf) no more: H1058 (QalInf) he will be very H2603 (QalInf) gracious H2603 (QalImpf) unto thee at the voice H6963 of thy cry; H2199 (QalInf) when he shall hear H8085 (QalInf) it, he will answer H6030 (QalPerf) thee.

διοτι λαος αγιος εν σιων οικησει και ιερουσαλημ κλαυθμω εκλαυσεν ελεησον με ελεησει σε την φωνην της κραυγης σου ηνικα ειδεν επηκουσεν σου

Then justice will dwell in the wilderness; and righteousness will remain in the fruitful field.

και αναπαυσεται εν τη ερημω κριμα και δικαιοσυνη εν τω καρμηλω κατοικησει

My people will live in a peaceful habitation, in safe dwellings, and in quiet resting places,

And my people H5971 shall dwell H3427 (QalPerf) in a peaceable H7965 habitation, H5116 and in sure H4009 dwellings, H4908 and in quiet H7600 resting places; H4496

και κατοικησει ο λαος αυτου εν πολει ειρηνης και ενοικησει πεποιθως και αναπαυσονται μετα πλουτου

The inhabitant won’t say, “I am sick.” The people who dwell therein will be forgiven their iniquity.

And the inhabitant H7934 shall not say, H559 (QalImpf) I am sick: H2470 (QalPerf) the people H5971 that dwell H3427 (QalActPtc) therein shall be forgiven H5375 (QalPasPtc) their iniquity. H5771

και ου μη ειπη κοπιω ο λαος ο ενοικων εν αυτοις αφεθη γαρ αυτοις η αμαρτια

But Rabshakeh said, “Has my master sent me only to your master and to you, to speak these words, and not to the men who sit on the wall, who will eat their own dung and drink their own urine with you?”

και ειπεν ραψακης προς αυτους μη προς τον κυριον υμων η προς υμας απεσταλκεν με ο κυριος μου λαλησαι τους λογους τουτους ουχι προς τους ανθρωπους τους καθημενους επι τω τειχει ινα φαγωσιν κοπρον και πιωσιν ουρον μεθ υμων αμα

κυριε σαβαωθ ο θεος ισραηλ ο καθημενος επι των χερουβιν συ θεος μονος ει πασης βασιλειας της οικουμενης συ εποιησας τον ουρανον και την γην

Therefore their inhabitants had little power. They were dismayed and confounded. They were like the grass of the field, and like the green herb, like the grass on the housetops, and like a field before its crop has grown.

ανηκα τας χειρας και εξηρανθησαν και εγενοντο ως χορτος ξηρος επι δωματων και ως αγρωστις

But I know your sitting down, your going out, your coming in, and your raging against me.
