It shall be, when you have come in to the land which Yahweh your God gives you for an inheritance, possess it, and dwell in it,

And it shall be, when thou art come in H935 (QalImpf) unto the land H776 which the Lord H3068 thy God H430 giveth H5414 (QalActPtc) thee for an inheritance, H5159 and possessest H3423 (QalPerf) it, and dwellest H3427 (QalPerf) therein;

και εσται εαν εισελθης εις την γην ην κυριος ο θεος σου διδωσιν σοι εν κληρω και κατακληρονομησης αυτην και κατοικησης επ αυτης

that you shall take some of the first of all the fruit of the ground, which you shall bring in from your land that Yahweh your God gives you. You shall put it in a basket, and shall go to the place which Yahweh your God shall choose to cause his name to dwell there.

You shall come to the priest who shall be in those days, and tell him, “I profess today to Yahweh your God, that I have come to the land which Yahweh swore to our fathers to give us.”

It shall happen, if you shall listen diligently to Yahweh your God’s voice, to observe to do all his commandments which I command you today, that Yahweh your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth.

Yahweh will command the blessing on you in your barns, and in all that you put your hand to. He will bless you in the land which Yahweh your God gives you.

All the peoples of the earth shall see that you are called by Yahweh’s name, and they will be afraid of you.

Yahweh will open to you his good treasure in the sky, to give the rain of your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You will lend to many nations, and you will not borrow.

Yahweh will make the rain of your land powder and dust. It will come down on you from the sky, until you are destroyed.

Yahweh will cause you to be struck before your enemies. You will go out one way against them, and will flee seven ways before them. You will be tossed back and forth among all the kingdoms of the earth.

επαξει κυριος επι σε εθνος μακροθεν απ εσχατου της γης ωσει ορμημα αετου εθνος ο ουκ ακουση της φωνης αυτου

They will besiege you in all your gates until your high and fortified walls in which you trusted come down throughout all your land. They will besiege you in all your gates throughout all your land which Yahweh your God has given you.

Deuteronomy 29:22 Heb. wherewith the LORD hath made it sick

^[29:21] και ερουσιν η γενεα η ετερα οι υιοι υμων οι αναστησονται μεθ υμας και ο αλλοτριος ος αν ελθη εκ γης μακροθεν και οψονται τας πληγας της γης εκεινης και τας νοσους αυτης ας απεστειλεν κυριος επ αυτην

that all of its land is sulfur, salt, and burning, that it is not sown, doesn’t produce, nor does any grass grow in it, like the overthrow of Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboiim, which Yahweh overthrew in his anger, and in his wrath.

and that the whole land H776 thereof is brimstone, H1614 and salt, H4417 and burning, H8316 that it is not sown, H2232 (NiphImpf) nor beareth, H6779 (HiphImpf) nor any grass H6212 groweth H5927 (QalImpf) therein, like the overthrow H4114 of Sodom, H5467 and Gomorrah, H6017 Admah, H126 and Zeboim, H6636 which the Lord H3068 overthrew H2015 (QalPerf) in his anger, H639 and in his wrath: H2534

Even all the nations will say, “Why has Yahweh done this to this land? What does the heat of this great anger mean?”

Then men will say, “Because they abandoned the covenant of Yahweh, the God of their fathers, which he made with them when he brought them out of the land of Egypt,

Yahweh rooted them out of their land in anger, in wrath, and in great indignation, and thrust them into another land, as it is today.”

Yahweh your God will bring you into the land which your fathers possessed, and you will possess it. He will do you good, and increase your numbers more than your fathers.
