και εποιησεν σαλωμων την εορτην εν τη ημερα εκεινη και πας ισραηλ μετ αυτου εκκλησια μεγαλη απο της εισοδου ημαθ εως ποταμου αιγυπτου ενωπιον κυριου θεου ημων εν τω οικω ω ωκοδομησεν εσθιων και πινων και ευφραινομενος ενωπιον κυριου θεου ημων επτα ημερας

Yahweh said to him, “I have heard your prayer and your supplication that you have made before me. I have made this house holy, which you have built, to put my name there forever; and my eyes and my heart shall be there perpetually.

As for you, if you will walk before me as David your father walked, in integrity of heart and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded you, and will keep my statutes and my ordinances,

και συ εαν πορευθης ενωπιον εμου καθως επορευθη δαυιδ ο πατηρ σου εν οσιοτητι καρδιας και εν ευθυτητι και του ποιειν κατα παντα α ενετειλαμην αυτω και τα προσταγματα μου και τας εντολας μου φυλαξης

But if you turn away from following me, you or your children, and not keep my commandments and my statutes which I have set before you, but go and serve other gods and worship them,

But if ye shall at all H7725 (QalInf) turn H7725 (QalImpf) from following H310 me, ye or your children, H1121 and will not keep H8104 (QalImpf) my commandments H4687 and my statutes H2708 which I have set H5414 (QalPerf) before H6440 you, but go H1980 (QalPerf) and serve H5647 (QalPerf) other H312 gods, H430 and worship H7812 (HithPerf) them:

εαν δε αποστραφεντες αποστραφητε υμεις και τα τεκνα υμων απ εμου και μη φυλαξητε τας εντολας μου και τα προσταγματα μου α εδωκεν μωυσης ενωπιον υμων και πορευθητε και δουλευσητε θεοις ετεροις και προσκυνησητε αυτοις

then I will cut off Israel out of the land which I have given them; and I will cast this house, which I have made holy for my name, out of my sight; and Israel will be a proverb and a byword among all peoples.

then will I cut off H3772 (HiphPerf) Israel H3478 out H6440 of the land H127 which I have given H5414 (QalPerf) them; and this house, H1004 which I have hallowed H6942 (HiphPerf) for my name, H8034 will I cast out H7971 (PielImpf) of my sight; H6440 and Israel H3478 shall be a proverb H4912 and a byword H8148 among all people: H5971

και εξαρω τον ισραηλ απο της γης ης εδωκα αυτοις και τον οικον τουτον ον ηγιασα τω ονοματι μου απορριψω εκ προσωπου μου και εσται ισραηλ εις αφανισμον και εις λαλημα εις παντας τους λαους

Solomon offered burnt offerings and peace offerings on the altar which he built to Yahweh three times per year, burning incense with them on the altar that was before Yahweh. So he finished the house.

Happy are your men, happy are these your servants who stand continually before you, who hear your wisdom.

But he abandoned the counsel of the old men which they had given him, and took counsel with the young men who had grown up with him, who stood before him.
