αδελφος πατρος αυτου η υιος αδελφου πατρος λυτρωσεται αυτον η απο των οικειων των σαρκων αυτου εκ της φυλης αυτου λυτρωσεται αυτον εαν δε ευπορηθεις ταις χερσιν λυτρωσηται εαυτον

If he isn’t redeemed by these means, then he shall be released in the Year of Jubilee: he and his children with him.

The cities shall be for your refuge from the avenger, that the man slayer not die until he stands before the congregation for judgment.

The avenger of blood shall himself put the murderer to death. When he meets him, he shall put him to death.

The revenger H1350 (QalActPtc) of blood H1818 himself shall slay H4191 (HiphImpf) the murderer: H7523 (QalActPtc) when he meeteth H6293 (QalInf) him, he H1931 shall slay H4191 (HiphImpf) him.

ο αγχιστευων το αιμα ουτος αποκτενει τον φονευσαντα οταν συναντηση αυτω ουτος αποκτενει αυτον

or in hostility struck him with his hand, so that he died, he who struck him shall surely be put to death. He is a murderer. The avenger of blood shall put the murderer to death when he meets him.

or in enmity H342 smite H5221 (HiphPerf) him with his hand, H3027 that he die: H4191 (QalImpf) he that smote H5221 (HiphPtc) him shall surely H4191 (QalInf) be put to death; H4191 (HophImpf) for he is a murderer: H7523 (QalActPtc) the revenger H1350 (QalActPtc) of blood H1818 shall slay H4191 (HiphImpf) the murderer, H7523 (QalActPtc) when he meeteth H6293 (QalInf) him.

η δια μηνιν επαταξεν αυτον τη χειρι και αποθανη θανατω θανατουσθω ο παταξας φονευτης εστιν θανατω θανατουσθω ο φονευων ο αγχιστευων το αιμα αποκτενει τον φονευσαντα εν τω συναντησαι αυτω

then the congregation shall judge between the striker and the avenger of blood according to these ordinances.

και κρινει η συναγωγη ανα μεσον του παταξαντος και ανα μεσον του αγχιστευοντος το αιμα κατα τα κριματα ταυτα

The congregation shall deliver the man slayer out of the hand of the avenger of blood, and the congregation shall restore him to his city of refuge, where he had fled. He shall dwell therein until the death of the high priest, who was anointed with the holy oil.

and the congregation H5712 shall deliver H5337 (HiphPerf) the slayer H7523 (QalActPtc) out of the hand H3027 of the revenger H1350 (QalActPtc) of blood, H1818 and the congregation H5712 shall restore H7725 (HiphPerf) him to the city H5892 of his refuge, H4733 whither he was fled: H5127 (QalPerf) and he shall abide H3427 (QalPerf) in it unto the death H4194 of the high H1419 priest, H3548 which was anointed H4886 (QalPerf) with the holy H6944 oil. and the avenger of blood finds him outside of the border of his city of refuge, and the avenger of blood kills the man slayer, he shall not be guilty of blood,

Otherwise, the avenger of blood might pursue the man slayer while hot anger is in his heart and overtake him, because the way is long, and strike him mortally, even though he was not worthy of death, because he didn’t hate him in time past.

then the elders of his city shall send and bring him there, and deliver him into the hand of the avenger of blood, that he may die.

If the avenger of blood pursues him, then they shall not deliver up the man slayer into his hand; because he struck his neighbor unintentionally, and didn’t hate him before.

These were the appointed cities for all the children of Israel, and for the alien who lives among them, that whoever kills any person unintentionally might flee there, and not die by the hand of the avenger of blood, until he stands trial before the congregation.
