He said, “Certainly I will be with you. This will be the token to you, that I have sent you: when you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain.”

“It will happen, if they will not believe you or listen to the voice of the first sign, that they will believe the voice of the latter sign.

εαν δε μη πιστευσωσιν σοι μηδε εισακουσωσιν της φωνης του σημειου του πρωτου πιστευσουσιν σοι της φωνης του σημειου του εσχατου

It will happen, if they will not believe even these two signs or listen to your voice, that you shall take of the water of the river, and pour it on the dry land. The water which you take out of the river will become blood on the dry land.”

Exodus 4:9 Heb. shall be and shall be

Yahweh said to Moses, “Go in to Pharaoh, for I have hardened his heart and the heart of his servants, that I may show these my signs among them;

ινα υπαρχωσιν υμιν ουτοι εις σημειον κειμενον δια παντος ινα οταν ερωτα σε ο υιος σου αυριον λεγων τι εισιν οι λιθοι ουτοι υμιν

for it is Yahweh our God who brought us and our fathers up out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, and who did those great signs in our sight, and preserved us in all the way in which we went, and among all the peoples through the middle of whom we passed.

for the Lord H3068 our God, H430 he it is that brought us up H5927 (HiphPtc) and our fathers H1 out of the land H776 of Egypt, H4714 from the house H1004 of bondage, H5650 and which did H6213 (QalPerf) those great H1419 signs H226 in our sight, H5869 and preserved H8104 (QalImpf) us in all the way H1870 wherein we went, H1980 (QalPerf) and among all the people H5971 through H7130 whom we passed: H5674 (QalPerf)

κυριος ο θεος ημων αυτος θεος εστιν αυτος ανηγαγεν ημας και τους πατερας ημων εξ αιγυπτου και διεφυλαξεν ημας εν παση τη οδω η επορευθημεν εν αυτη και εν πασιν τοις εθνεσιν ους παρηλθομεν δι αυτων

He said to him, “If now I have found favor in your sight, then show me a sign that it is you who talk with me.

And he said H559 (QalImpf) unto him, If now I have found H4672 (QalPerf) grace H2580 in thy sight, H5869 then shew H6213 (QalPerf) me a sign H226 that thou talkest H1696 (PielPtc) with me.

και ειπεν προς αυτον γεδεων και ει ευρον χαριν εν οφθαλμοις σου και ποιησεις μοι σημειον οτι συ λαλεις μετ εμου

This will be the sign to you that will come on your two sons, on Hophni and Phinehas: in one day they will both die.

And this shall be a sign H226 unto thee, that shall come H935 (QalImpf) upon thy two H8147 sons, H1121 on Hophni H2652 and Phinehas; H6372 in one H259 day H3117 they shall die H4191 (QalImpf) both H8147 of them.

και τουτο σοι το σημειον ο ηξει επι τους δυο υιους σου τουτους οφνι και φινεες εν ημερα μια αποθανουνται αμφοτεροι

Let it be, when these signs have come to you, that you do what is appropriate for the occasion; for God is with you.

And let it be, when these signs H226 are come H935 (QalImpf) unto thee, that thou do H6213 (QalImpv) as occasion H4672 (QalImpf) serve H3027 thee;^§ for God H430 is with thee.

It was so, that when he had turned his back to go from Samuel, God gave him another heart; and all those signs happened that day.

και εγενηθη ωστε επιστραφηναι τω ωμω αυτου απελθειν απο σαμουηλ μετεστρεψεν αυτω ο θεος καρδιαν αλλην και ηλθεν παντα τα σημεια εν τη ημερα εκεινη

But if they say this, ‘Come up to us!’ then we will go up, for Yahweh has delivered them into our hand. This shall be the sign to us.”

But if they say H559 (QalImpf) thus, Come up H5927 (QalImpv) unto us; then we will go up: H5927 (QalPerf) for the Lord H3068 hath delivered H5414 (QalPerf) them into our hand: H3027 and this shall be a sign H226 unto us.

και εαν ταδε ειπωσιν προς ημας αναβητε προς ημας και αναβησομεθα οτι παραδεδωκεν αυτους κυριος εις τας χειρας ημων τουτο ημιν το σημειον

“This will be the sign to you: This year, you will eat that which grows of itself, and in the second year that which springs from that; and in the third year sow and reap, and plant vineyards and eat their fruit.

And this shall be a sign H226 unto thee, Ye shall eat H398 (QalInf) this year H8141 such things as grow H5599 of themselves, and in the second H8145 year H8141 that which springeth H7823 of the same; and in the third H7992 year H8141 sow H2232 (QalImpv) ye, and reap, H7114 (QalImpv) and plant H5193 (QalImpv) vineyards, H3754 and eat H398 (QalImpv) the fruits H6529 thereof.

και τουτο σοι το σημειον φαγη τουτον τον ενιαυτον αυτοματα και τω ετει τω δευτερω τα ανατελλοντα και ετι τριτω σπορα και αμητος και φυτεια αμπελωνων και φαγεσθε τον καρπον αυτων

Hezekiah said to Isaiah, “What will be the sign that Yahweh will heal me, and that I will go up to Yahweh’s house the third day?”

And Hezekiah H2396 said H559 (QalImpf) unto Isaiah, H3470 What shall be the sign H226 that the Lord H3068 will heal H7495 (QalImpf) me, and that I shall go up H5927 (QalPerf) into the house H1004 of the Lord H3068 the third H7992 day? H3117

και ειπεν εζεκιας προς ησαιαν τι το σημειον οτι ιασεται με κυριος και αναβησομαι εις οικον κυριου τη ημερα τη τριτη

Isaiah said, “This will be the sign to you from Yahweh, that Yahweh will do the thing that he has spoken: should the shadow go forward ten steps, or go back ten steps?”

And Isaiah H3470 said, H559 (QalImpf) This sign H226 shalt thou have of the Lord, H3068 that the Lord H3068 will do H6213 (QalImpf) the thing H1697 that he hath spoken: H1696 (PielPerf) shall the shadow H6738 go forward H1980 (QalPerf) ten H6235 degrees, H4609 or go back H7725 (QalImpf) ten H6235 degrees? και ειπεν ησαιας τουτο το σημειον παρα κυριου οτι ποιησει κυριος τον λογον ον ελαλησεν πορευσεται η σκια δεκα βαθμους εαν επιστρεφη δεκα βαθμους

and showed signs and wonders against Pharaoh, against all his servants, and against all the people of his land, for you knew that they dealt proudly against them, and made a name for yourself, as it is today.

and shewedst H5414 (QalImpf) signs H226 and wonders H4159 upon Pharaoh, H6547 and on all his servants, H5650 and on all the people H5971 of his land: H776 for thou knewest H3045 (QalPerf) that they dealt proudly H2102 (HiphPerf) against them.
