και πως δυνησεται ο παις σου κυριε λαλησαι μετα του κυριου μου τουτου και εγω απο του νυν ου στησεται εν εμοι ισχυς και πνοη ουχ υπελειφθη εν εμοι

He said, “Greatly beloved man, don’t be afraid. Peace be to you. Be strong. Yes, be strong.” When he spoke to me, I was strengthened, and said, “Let my lord speak, for you have strengthened me.”

As for both these kings, their hearts will be to do evil, and they will speak lies at one table; but it won’t prosper, for the end will still be at the appointed time.

“Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and preach to it the message that I give you.”

God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way. God relented of the disaster which he said he would do to them, and he didn’t do it.

Her rich men are full of violence, her inhabitants speak lies, and their tongue is deceitful in their speech.

Their hands are on that which is evil to do it diligently. The ruler and judge ask for a bribe. The powerful man dictates the evil desire of his soul. Thus they conspire together.

Yahweh answered the angel who talked with me with kind and comforting words.

και απεκριθη κυριος παντοκρατωρ τω αγγελω τω λαλουντι εν εμοι ρηματα καλα και λογους παρακλητικους

So the angel who talked with me said to me, “Proclaim, saying, ‘Yahweh of Armies says: “I am jealous for Jerusalem and for Zion with a great jealousy.

So the angel H4397 that communed H1696 (QalActPtc) with me said H559 (QalImpf) unto me, Cry H7121 (QalImpv) thou, saying, H559 (QalInf) Thus saith H559 (QalPerf) the Lord H3068 of hosts; H6635 I am jealous H7065 (PielPerf) for Jerusalem H3389 and for Zion H6726 with a great H1419 jealousy. H7068

και ειπεν προς με ο αγγελος ο λαλων εν εμοι ανακραγε λεγων ταδε λεγει κυριος παντοκρατωρ εζηλωκα την ιερουσαλημ και την σιων ζηλον μεγαν

I asked the angel who talked with me, “What are these?” He answered me, “These are the horns which have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem.”

And I said H559 (QalImpf) unto the angel H4397 that talked H1696 (QalActPtc) with me, What be these? And he answered H559 (QalImpf) me, These are the horns H7161 which have scattered H2219 (PielPerf) Judah, H3063 Israel, H3478 and Jerusalem. H3389

The angel who talked with me came again and wakened me, as a man who is wakened out of his sleep.

And the angel H4397 that talked H1696 (QalActPtc) with me came again, H7725 (QalImpf) and waked H5782 (HiphImpf) me, as a man H376 that is wakened H5782 (NiphImpf) out of his sleep, H8142

και επεστρεψεν ο αγγελος ο λαλων εν εμοι και εξηγειρεν με ον τροπον οταν εξεγερθη ανθρωπος εξ υπνου αυτου

I answered and spoke to the angel who talked with me, saying, “What are these, my lord?”

So I answered H6030 (QalImpf) and spake H559 (QalImpf) to the angel H4397 that talked H1696 (QalActPtc) with me, saying, H559 (QalInf) What are these, my lord? H113

και επηρωτησα και ειπον προς τον αγγελον τον λαλουντα εν εμοι λεγων τι εστιν ταυτα κυριε

Then the angel who talked with me answered me, “Don’t you know what these are?” I said, “No, my lord.”

Then the angel H4397 that talked H1696 (QalActPtc) with me answered H6030 (QalImpf) and said H559 (QalImpf) unto me, Knowest H3045 (QalPerf) thou not what these be? And I said, H559 (QalImpf) No, my lord. H113

και απεκριθη ο αγγελος ο λαλων εν εμοι και ειπεν προς με ου γινωσκεις τι εστιν ταυτα και ειπα ουχι κυριε

Then the angel who talked with me came forward and said to me, “Lift up now your eyes and see what this is that is appearing.”

Then the angel H4397 that talked H1696 (QalActPtc) with me went forth, H3318 (QalImpf) and said H559 (QalImpf) unto me, Lift up H5375 (QalImpv) now thine eyes, H5869 and see H7200 (QalImpv) what is this that goeth forth. H3318 (QalActPtc)

και εξηλθεν ο αγγελος ο λαλων εν εμοι και ειπεν προς με αναβλεψον τοις οφθαλμοις σου και ιδε τι το εκπορευομενον τουτο

Then I said to the angel who talked with me, “Where are these carrying the ephah basket?”

Then said H559 (QalImpf) I to the angel H4397 that talked H1696 (QalActPtc) with me, Whither do these bear H3212 (HiphPtc) the ephah? H374

και ειπα προς τον αγγελον τον λαλουντα εν εμοι που αυται αποφερουσιν το μετρον

Then I asked the angel who talked with me, “What are these, my lord?”

Then he called to me, and spoke to me, saying, “Behold, those who go toward the north country have quieted my spirit in the north country.”

και ανεβοησεν και ελαλησεν προς με λεγων ιδου οι εκπορευομενοι επι γην βορρα ανεπαυσαν τον θυμον μου εν γη βορρα

These are the things that you shall do: speak every man the truth with his neighbor. Execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates,

ουτοι οι λογοι ους ποιησετε λαλειτε αληθειαν εκαστος προς τον πλησιον αυτου και κριμα ειρηνικον κρινατε εν ταις πυλαις υμων

I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim and the horse from Jerusalem. The battle bow will be cut off; and he will speak peace to the nations. His dominion will be from sea to sea, and from the River to the ends of the earth.
