Then they brought out the king’s son, put the crown on him, gave him the covenant, and made him king. Jehoiada and his sons anointed him, and they said, “Long live the king!”

Jehoiada the priest brought out the captains of hundreds who were set over the army, and said to them, “Bring her out between the ranks; and whoever follows her, let him be slain with the sword.” For the priest said, “Don’t kill her in Yahweh’s house.”

And Jehoiada the priest bringeth out the heads of the hundreds, inspectors of the force, and saith unto them, ‘Take her out from within the rows, and he who hath gone after her is put to death by the sword;’ for the priest said, ‘Put her not to death in the house of Jehovah.’

He gathered together the priests and the Levites, and said to them, “Go out to the cities of Judah, and gather money to repair the house of your God from all Israel from year to year. See that you expedite this matter.” However the Levites didn’t do it right away.

and he gathereth the priests and the Levites, and saith to them, ‘Go out to the cities of Judah, and gather from all Israel money to strengthen the house of your God sufficiently year by year, and ye, ye do haste to the matter;’ and the Levites have not hasted.

Moreover Amaziah gathered Judah together and ordered them according to their fathers’ houses, under captains of thousands and captains of hundreds, even all Judah and Benjamin. He counted them from twenty years old and upward, and found that there were three hundred thousand chosen men, able to go out to war, who could handle spear and shield.

And Amaziah gathereth Judah, and appointeth them, according to the house of the fathers, for heads of the thousands, and for heads of the hundreds, for all Judah and Benjamin; and he inspecteth them from a son of twenty years and upward, and findeth them three hundred thousand chosen ones, going forth to the host, holding spear and target.

Moreover Uzziah had an army of fighting men who went out to war by bands, according to the number of their reckoning made by Jeiel the scribe and Maaseiah the officer, under the hand of Hananiah, one of the king’s captains.

In Jerusalem, he made devices, invented by skillful men, to be on the towers and on the battlements, with which to shoot arrows and great stones. His name spread far abroad, because he was marvelously helped until he was strong.

They resisted Uzziah the king, and said to him, “It isn’t for you, Uzziah, to burn incense to Yahweh, but for the priests the sons of Aaron, who are consecrated to burn incense. Go out of the sanctuary, for you have trespassed. It will not be for your honor from Yahweh God.”

and they stand up against Uzziah the king, and say to him, ‘Not for thee, O Uzziah, to make perfume to Jehovah, but for priests, sons of Aaron, who are sanctified to make perfume; go forth from the sanctuary, for thou hast trespassed, and it is not to thee for honour from Jehovah God.’

Azariah the chief priest and all the priests looked at him, and behold, he was leprous in his forehead; and they thrust him out quickly from there. Indeed, he himself also hurried to go out, because Yahweh had struck him.

And there hath been there a prophet of Jehovah (Oded is his name), and he goeth out before the host that hath come in to Samaria, and saith to them, ‘Lo, in the fury of Jehovah God of your fathers against Judah, He hath given them into your hand, and ye slay among them in rage-unto the heavens it hath come;

and said to them, “Listen to me, you Levites! Now sanctify yourselves, and sanctify the house of Yahweh, the God of your fathers, and carry the filthiness out of the holy place.

And he saith to them, ‘Hear me, O Levites, now, sanctify yourselves, and sanctify the house of Jehovah, God of your fathers, and bring out the impurity from the sanctuary,

The priests went into the inner part of Yahweh’s house to cleanse it, and brought out all the uncleanness that they found in Yahweh’s temple into the court of Yahweh’s house. The Levites took it from there to carry it out to the brook Kidron.

And the priests H3548 went H935 (QalImpf) into the inner part H6441 of the house H1004 of the Lord, H3068 to cleanse H2891 (PielInf) [it], and brought out H3318 (HiphImpf) all the uncleanness H2932 that they found H4672 (QalPerf) in the temple H1964 of the Lord H3068 into the court H2691 of the house H1004 of the Lord. H3068 And the Levites H3881 took H6901 (PielImpf) [it], to carry [it] out H3318 (HiphInf) abroad H2351 into the brook H5158 Kidron. H6939

and the priests come in to the inner part of the house of Jehovah to cleanse it, and bring out all the uncleanness that they have found in the temple of Jehovah to the court of the house of Jehovah, and the Levites receive it, to take it out to the brook Kidron without.

Now when all this was finished, all Israel who were present went out to the cities of Judah and broke the pillars in pieces, cut down the Asherah poles, and broke down the high places and the altars out of all Judah and Benjamin, also in Ephraim and Manasseh, until they had destroyed them all. Then all the children of Israel returned, every man to his possession, into their own cities.

Now when all this was finished, H3615 (PielInf) all Israel H3478 that were present H4672 (NiphPtc) went out H3318 (QalPerf) to the cities H5892 of Judah, H3063 and brake H7665 the images H4676 in pieces, H7665 (PielImpf) and cut down H1438 (PielImpf) the groves, H842 and threw down H5422 (PielImpf) the high places H1116 and the altars H4196 out of all Judah H3063 and Benjamin, H1144 in Ephraim H669 also and Manasseh, H4519 until they had utterly destroyed H3615 (PielInf) them all. And at the completion of all this, gone out have all Israel who are found present to the cities of Judah, and break the standing-pillars, and cut down the shrines, and break down the high places and the altars, out of all Judah and Benjamin, and in Ephraim and Manasseh, even to completion, and all the sons of Israel turn back, each to his Possession, to their cities.

When they brought out the money that was brought into Yahweh’s house, Hilkiah the priest found the book of Yahweh’s law given by Moses.

And when they brought out H3318 (HiphInf) the money H3701 that was brought into H935 (HophPtc) the house H1004 of the Lord, H3068 Hilkiah H2518 the priest H3548 found H4672 (QalPerf) a book H5612 of the law H8451 of the Lord H3068 [given] by H3027 Moses. H4872

And in their bringing out the money that is brought in to the house of Jehovah, hath Hilkiah the priest found the book of the law of Jehovah by the hand of Moses,

After all this, when Josiah had prepared the temple, Neco king of Egypt went up to fight against Carchemish by the Euphrates, and Josiah went out against him.

After all this, when Josiah hath prepared the house, come up hath Necho king of Egypt, to fight against Carchemish by Phrat, and Josiah goeth forth to meet him;

Also Cyrus the king brought out the vessels of Yahweh’s house, which Nebuchadnezzar had brought out of Jerusalem, and had put in the house of his gods;

Now therefore let’s make a covenant with our God to put away all the wives and those who are born of them, according to the counsel of my lord and of those who tremble at the commandment of our God. Let it be done according to the law.

and now, let us make a covenant with our God, to cause all the women to go out, and that which is born of them, by the counsel of the Lord, and of those trembling at the command of our God, and according to law it is done;

They gave their hand that they would put away their wives; and being guilty, they offered a ram of the flock for their guilt.

And I go out through the gate of the valley by night, and unto the front of the fountain of the dragon, and unto the gate of the dunghill, and I am measuring about the walls of Jerusalem, that are broken down, and its gates consumed with fire.

Palal the son of Uzai made repairs opposite the turning of the wall, and the tower that stands out from the upper house of the king, which is by the court of the guard. After him Pedaiah the son of Parosh made repairs.

Palal son of Uzai, from over-against the angle, and the tower that is going out from the upper house of the king that is at the court of the prison; after him Pedaiah son of Parosh.

(Now the temple servants lived in Ophel, to the place opposite the water gate toward the east, and the tower that stands out.)

Moreover the Nethinims H5411 dwelt H3427 (QalActPtc) in Ophel, H6077 unto [the place] over against the water H4325 gate H8179 toward the east, H4217 and the tower H4026 that lieth out. H3318 (QalActPtc)

And the Nethinim have been dwelling in Ophel, unto over-against the water-gate at the east, and the tower that goeth out.

After him the Tekoites repaired another portion, opposite the great tower that stands out, and to the wall of Ophel.

After H310 them the Tekoites H8621 repaired H2388 (HiphPerf) another H8145 piece, H4060 over against the great H1419 tower H4026 that lieth out, H3318 (QalActPtc) even unto the wall H2346 of Ophel. H6077

After him have the Tekoites strengthened, a second measure, from over-against the great tower that goeth out, and unto the wall of Ophel.

So we did the work. Half of the people held the spears from the rising of the morning until the stars appeared.

So we laboured H6213 (QalActPtc) in the work: H4399 and half H2677 of them held H2388 (HiphPtc) the spears H7420 from the rising H5927 (QalInf) of the morning H7837 till the stars H3556 appeared. H3318 (QalInf)

And we are working in the business, and half of them are keeping hold of the spears, from the going up of the dawn till the coming forth of the stars.

Also they spoke of his good deeds before me, and reported my words to him. Tobiah sent letters to put me in fear.

So the people went out and brought them, and made themselves temporary shelters,^§ everyone on the roof of his house, in their courts, in the courts of God’s house, in the wide place of the water gate, and in the wide place of Ephraim’s gate.

‘If to the king it be good, there goeth forth a royal word from before him, and it is written with the laws of Persia and Media, and doth not pass away, that Vashti doth not come in before the king Ahasuerus, and her royalty doth the king give to her companion who is better than she;

The runners have gone forth, hastened by the word of the king, and the law hath been given in Shushan the palace, and the king and Haman have sat down to drink, and the city Shushan is perplexed.

Now when Mordecai found out all that was done, Mordecai tore his clothes and put on sackcloth with ashes, and went out into the middle of the city, and wailed loudly and bitterly.

And Mordecai hath known all that hath been done, and Mordecai rendeth his garments, and putteth on sackcloth and ashes, and goeth forth into the midst of the city and crieth-a cry loud and bitter,

So Hathach went out to Mordecai, to the city square which was before the king’s gate.

And Hatach goeth out unto Mordecai, unto a broad place of the city, that is before the gate of the king,

Then Haman went out that day joyful and glad of heart, but when Haman saw Mordecai in the king’s gate, that he didn’t stand up nor move for him, he was filled with wrath against Mordecai.

Then the king returned out of the palace garden into the place of the banquet of wine; and Haman had fallen on the couch where Esther was. Then the king said, “Will he even assault the queen in front of me in the house?” As the word went out of the king’s mouth, they covered Haman’s face.

And the king hath turned back out of the garden of the house unto the house of the banquet of wine, and Haman is falling on the couch on which Esther is, and the king saith, ‘Also to subdue the queen with me in the house?’ the word hath gone out from the mouth of the king, and the face of Haman they have covered.

So the couriers who rode on royal horses went out, hastened and pressed on by the king’s commandment. The decree was given out in the citadel of Susa.

Mordecai went out of the presence of the king in royal clothing of blue and white, and with a great crown of gold, and with a robe of fine linen and purple; and the city of Susa shouted and was glad.

And Mordecai went out from before the king, in royal clothing of blue and white, and a great crown of gold, and a garment of fine linen and purple, and the city of Shushan hath rejoiced and been glad;

Yahweh said to Satan, “Behold,^§ all that he has is in your power. Only on himself don’t stretch out your hand.” So Satan went out from the presence of Yahweh.

Job 1:12 “Behold”, from “הִנֵּה”, means look at, take notice, observe, see, or gaze at. It is often used as an interjection.

And Jehovah saith unto the Adversary, ‘Lo, all that he hath is in thy hand, only unto him put not forth thy hand.’ And the Adversary goeth out from the presence of Jehovah.

He said, “Naked I came out of my mother’s womb, and naked will I return there. Yahweh gave, and Yahweh has taken away. Blessed be Yahweh’s name.”

and he saith, ‘Naked came I forth from the womb of my mother, and naked I turn back thither: Jehovah hath given and Jehovah hath taken: let the name of Jehovah be blessed.’

So Satan went out from the presence of Yahweh, and struck Job with painful sores from the sole of his foot to his head.

So went H3318 Satan H7854 forth H3318 (QalImpf) from the presence H6440 of the Lord, H3068 and smote H5221 (HiphImpf) Job H347 with sore H7451 boils H7822 from the sole H3709 of his foot H7272 unto his crown. H6936

And the Adversary goeth forth from the presence of Jehovah, and smiteth Job with a sore ulcer from the sole of his foot unto his crown.

“Why didn’t I die from the womb? Why didn’t I give up the spirit when my mother bore me?

Why died H4191 (QalImpf) I not from the womb? H7358 [why] did I [not] give up the ghost H1478 (QalImpf) when I came out H3318 (QalPerf) of the belly? H990

Why from the womb do I not die? From the belly I have come forth and gasp!

For affliction doesn’t come out of the dust, neither does trouble spring out of the ground;

For sorrow cometh not forth from the dust, Nor from the ground springeth up misery.

Shall they not teach you, tell you, and utter words out of their heart?

Do they not shew thee-speak to thee, And from their heart bring forth words?

He is green before the sun. His shoots go out along his garden.

Green he is before the sun, And over his garden his branch goeth out.

“ ‘Why, then, have you brought me out of the womb? I wish I had given up the spirit, and no eye had seen me.

And why from the womb Hast Thou brought me forth? I expire, and the eye doth not see me.

He uncovers deep things out of darkness, and brings out to light the shadow of death.

Removing deep things out of darkness, And He bringeth out to light death-shade.

He grows up like a flower, and is cut down. He also flees like a shadow, and doesn’t continue.

He cometh forth H3318 (QalPerf) like a flower, H6731 and is cut down: H5243 (QalImpf) he fleeth H1272 (QalImpf) also as a shadow, H6738 and continueth H5975 (QalImpf) not.

As a flower he hath gone forth, and is cut off, And he fleeth as a shadow and standeth not.

that you turn your spirit against God, and let such words go out of your mouth?

That thou turnest H7725 (HiphImpf) thy spirit H7307 against God, H410 and lettest [such] words H4405 go out H3318 (HiphPerf) of thy mouth? H6310

For thou turnest against God thy spirit? And hast brought out words from thy mouth:
