The Chaldeans, who fight against this city, will come and set this city on fire, and burn it with the houses on whose roofs they have offered incense to Baal, and poured out drink offerings to other gods, to provoke me to anger.

and the Chaldeans, H3778 that fight H3898 (NiphPtc) against this city, H5892 shall come H935 (QalPerf) and set H3341 (HiphPerf) fire H784 on this city, H5892 and burn H8313 (QalPerf) it with the houses, H1004 upon whose roofs H1406 they have offered incense H6999 (PielPerf) unto Baal, H1168 and poured out H5258 (HiphPerf) drink offerings H5262 unto other H312 gods, H430 to provoke me to anger. You will die in peace; and with the burnings of your fathers, the former kings who were before you, so they will make a burning for you. They will lament you, saying, “Ah Lord!” for I have spoken the word,’ says Yahweh.”

Moreover Elnathan and Delaiah and Gemariah had made intercession to the king that he would not burn the scroll; but he would not listen to them.

Then Yahweh’s word came to Jeremiah, after the king had burned the scroll, and the words which Baruch wrote at the mouth of Jeremiah, saying,

Concerning Jehoiakim king of Judah you shall say, ‘Yahweh says: “You have burned this scroll, saying, ‘Why have you written therein, saying, “The king of Babylon will certainly come and destroy this land, and will cause to cease from there man and animal”?’ ”

Then Jeremiah took another scroll, and gave it to Baruch the scribe, the son of Neriah, who wrote therein from the mouth of Jeremiah all the words of the book which Jehoiakim king of Judah had burned in the fire; and many similar words were added to them.

The Chaldeans burned the king’s house and the people’s houses with fire and broke down the walls of Jerusalem.

And the Chaldeans H3778 burned H8313 (QalPerf) the king’s H4428 house, H1004 and the houses H1004 of the people, H5971 with fire, H784 and brake down H5422 (QalPerf) the walls H2346 of Jerusalem. H3389

I will kindle a fire in the houses of the gods of Egypt. He will burn them, and carry them away captive. He will array himself with the land of Egypt, as a shepherd puts on his garment; and he will go out from there in peace.
