διοτι μεγαλη εσται η δοξα του οικου τουτου η εσχατη υπερ την πρωτην λεγει κυριος παντοκρατωρ και εν τω τοπω τουτω δωσω ειρηνην λεγει κυριος παντοκρατωρ και ειρηνην ψυχης εις περιποιησιν παντι τω κτιζοντι του αναστησαι τον ναον τουτον

Therefore Yahweh says: “I have returned to Jerusalem with mercy. My house shall be built in it,” says Yahweh of Armies, “and a line shall be stretched out over Jerusalem.” ’

Therefore thus saith H559 (QalPerf) the Lord; H3068 I am returned H7725 (QalPerf) to Jerusalem H3389 with mercies: H7356 my house H1004 shall be built H1129 (NiphImpf) in it, saith H5002 (QalPasPtc) the Lord H3068 of hosts, H6635 and a line H6957 (Qere) H6961 shall be stretched forth H5186 (NiphImpf) upon Jerusalem. δια τουτο ταδε λεγει κυριος επιστρεψω επι ιερουσαλημ εν οικτιρμω και ο οικος μου ανοικοδομηθησεται εν αυτη λεγει κυριος παντοκρατωρ και μετρον εκταθησεται επι ιερουσαλημ ετι

“Yahweh of Armies says: ‘If you will walk in my ways, and if you will follow my instructions, then you also shall judge my house, and shall also keep my courts, and I will give you a place of access among these who stand by.

Thus saith H559 (QalPerf) the Lord H3068 of hosts; H6635 If thou wilt walk H3212 (QalImpf) in my ways, H1870 and if thou wilt keep H8104 (QalImpf) my charge, H4931 then thou shalt also judge H1777 (QalImpf) my house, H1004 and shalt also keep H8104 (QalImpf) my courts, H2691 and I will give H5414 (QalPerf) thee places to walk H4108 (HiphPtc) among these that stand by. ταδε λεγει κυριος παντοκρατωρ εαν εν ταις οδοις μου πορευη και εαν τα προσταγματα μου φυλαξης και συ διακρινεις τον οικον μου και εαν διαφυλαξης και γε την αυλην μου και δωσω σοι αναστρεφομενους εν μεσω των εστηκοτων τουτων

“The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house. His hands shall also finish it; and you will know that Yahweh of Armies has sent me to you.

αι χειρες ζοροβαβελ εθεμελιωσαν τον οικον τουτον και αι χειρες αυτου επιτελεσουσιν αυτον και επιγνωση διοτι κυριος παντοκρατωρ εξαπεσταλκεν με προς σε

I will cause it to go out,” says Yahweh of Armies, “and it will enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him who swears falsely by my name; and it will remain in the middle of his house, and will destroy it with its timber and its stones.”

και εξοισω αυτο λεγει κυριος παντοκρατωρ και εισελευσεται εις τον οικον του κλεπτου και εις τον οικον του ομνυοντος τω ονοματι μου επι ψευδει και καταλυσει εν μεσω του οικου αυτου και συντελεσει αυτον και τα ξυλα αυτου και τους λιθους αυτου

He said to me, “To build her a house in the land of Shinar. When it is prepared, she will be set there in her own place.”

And he said H559 (QalImpf) unto me, To build H1129 (QalInf) it an house H1004 in the land H776 of Shinar: H8152 and it shall be established, H3559 (HophPerf) and set H3240 (HophPerf) there upon her own base. H4369

και ειπεν προς με οικοδομησαι αυτω οικιαν εν γη βαβυλωνος και ετοιμασαι και θησουσιν αυτο εκει επι την ετοιμασιαν αυτου

“Take of them of the captivity, even of Heldai, of Tobijah, and of Jedaiah; and come the same day, and go into the house of Josiah the son of Zephaniah, where they have come from Babylon.

λαβε τα εκ της αιχμαλωσιας παρα των αρχοντων και παρα των χρησιμων αυτης και παρα των επεγνωκοτων αυτην και εισελευση συ εν τη ημερα εκεινη εις τον οικον ιωσιου του σοφονιου του ηκοντος εκ βαβυλωνος

The people of Bethel sent Sharezer and Regem Melech and their men to entreat Yahweh’s favor,

και εξαπεστειλεν εις βαιθηλ σαρασαρ και αρβεσεερ ο βασιλευς και οι ανδρες αυτου του εξιλασασθαι τον κυριον

and to speak to the priests of the house of Yahweh of Armies and to the prophets, saying, “Should I weep in the fifth month, separating myself, as I have done these so many years?”

[And] to speak H559 (QalInf) unto the priests H3548 which [were] in the house H1004 of the Lord H3068 of hosts, H6635 and to the prophets, H5030 saying, H559 (QalInf) Should I weep H1058 (QalImpf) in the fifth H2549 month, H2320 separating H5144 (NiphInf) myself, as I have done H6213 (QalPerf) these so many years? λεγων προς τους ιερεις τους εν τω οικω κυριου παντοκρατορος και προς τους προφητας λεγων εισεληλυθεν ωδε εν τω μηνι τω πεμπτω το αγιασμα καθοτι εποιησα ηδη ικανα ετη

Yahweh of Armies says: “Let your hands be strong, you who hear in these days these words from the mouth of the prophets who were in the day that the foundation of the house of Yahweh of Armies was laid, even the temple, that it might be built.

Thus saith H559 (QalPerf) the Lord H3068 of hosts; H6635 Let your hands H3027 be strong, H2388 (QalImpf) ye that hear H8085 (QalActPtc) in these days H3117 these words H1697 by the mouth H6310 of the prophets, H5030 which [were] in the day H3117 [that] the foundation H3245 of the house H1004 of the Lord H3068 of hosts H6635 was laid, H3245 (PualPerf) that the temple H1964 might be built. ταδε λεγει κυριος παντοκρατωρ κατισχυετωσαν αι χειρες υμων των ακουοντων εν ταις ημεραις ταυταις τους λογους τουτους εκ στοματος των προφητων αφ ης ημερας τεθεμελιωται ο οικος κυριου παντοκρατορος και ο ναος αφ ου ωκοδομηται

It shall come to pass that, as you were a curse among the nations, house of Judah and house of Israel, so I will save you, and you shall be a blessing. Don’t be afraid. Let your hands be strong.”

And it shall come to pass, [that] as ye were a curse H7045 among the heathen, H1471 O house H1004 of Judah, H3063 and house H1004 of Israel; H3478 so will I save H3467 (HiphImpf) you, and ye shall be a blessing: H1293 fear H3372 (QalImpf) not, [but] let your hands H3027 be strong. H2388 (QalImpf)

και εσται ον τροπον ητε εν καταρα εν τοις εθνεσιν οικος ιουδα και οικος ισραηλ ουτως διασωσω υμας και εσεσθε εν ευλογια θαρσειτε και κατισχυετε εν ταις χερσιν υμων

so again I have thought in these days to do good to Jerusalem and to the house of Judah. Don’t be afraid.

So again H7725 (QalPerf) have I thought H2161 (QalPerf) in these days H3117 to do well H3190 (HiphInf) unto Jerusalem H3389 and to the house H1004 of Judah: H3063 fear H3372 (QalImpf) ye not.

ουτως παρατεταγμαι και διανενοημαι εν ταις ημεραις ταυταις του καλως ποιησαι την ιερουσαλημ και τον οικον ιουδα θαρσειτε

Yahweh of Armies says: “The fasts of the fourth, fifth, seventh, and tenth months shall be for the house of Judah joy, gladness, and cheerful feasts. Therefore love truth and peace.”

Thus saith H559 (QalPerf) the Lord H3068 of hosts; H6635 The fast H6685 of the fourth H7243 [month], and the fast H6685 of the fifth, H2549 and the fast H6685 of the seventh, H7637 and the fast H6685 of the tenth, H6224 shall be to the house H1004 of Judah H3063 joy H8342 and gladness, H8057 and cheerful H2896 feasts; H4150 therefore love H157 (QalImpv) the truth H571 and peace. ταδε λεγει κυριος παντοκρατωρ νηστεια η τετρας και νηστεια η πεμπτη και νηστεια η εβδομη και νηστεια η δεκατη εσονται τω οικω ιουδα εις χαραν και εις ευφροσυνην και εις εορτας αγαθας και ευφρανθησεσθε και την αληθειαν και την ειρηνην αγαπησατε

I will encamp around my house against the army, that no one pass through or return; and no oppressor will pass through them any more: for now I have seen with my eyes.

And I will encamp H2583 (QalPerf) about mine house H1004 because of the army, H4675 because of him that passeth by, H5674 (QalActPtc) and because of him that returneth: H7725 (QalActPtc) and no oppressor H5065 (QalActPtc) shall pass through H5674 (QalImpf) them any more: for now have I seen H7200 (QalPerf) with mine eyes. και υποστησομαι τω οικω μου αναστημα του μη διαπορευεσθαι μηδε ανακαμπτειν και ου μη επελθη επ αυτους ουκετι εξελαυνων διοτι νυν εωρακα εν τοις οφθαλμοις μου
