It will happen that fishermen will stand by it. From En Gedi even to En Eglaim will be a place for the spreading of nets. Their fish will be after their kinds, as the fish of the great sea, exceedingly many.

The king talked with them; and among them all was found no one like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah. Therefore stood they before the king.

Then the king commanded that the magicians, the enchanters, the sorcerers, and the Chaldeans be called to tell the king his dreams. So they came in and stood before the king.

Then I lifted up my eyes and saw, and behold, a ram which had two horns stood before the river. The two horns were high, but one was higher than the other, and the higher came up last.

Daniel 8:3 Heb. the second

και ηρα τους οφθαλμους μου και ειδον και ιδου κριος εις εστηκως προ του ουβαλ και αυτω κερατα και τα κερατα υψηλα και το εν υψηλοτερον του ετερου και το υψηλον ανεβαινεν επ εσχατων

I saw the ram pushing westward, northward, and southward. No animals could stand before him. There wasn’t any who could deliver out of his hand, but he did according to his will, and magnified himself.

ειδον τον κριον κερατιζοντα κατα θαλασσαν και βορραν και νοτον και παντα τα θηρια ου στησονται ενωπιον αυτου και ουκ ην ο εξαιρουμενος εκ χειρος αυτου και εποιησεν κατα το θελημα αυτου και εμεγαλυνθη

He came to the ram that had the two horns, which I saw standing before the river, and ran on him in the fury of his power.

And he came H935 (QalImpf) to the ram H352 that had H1167 two horns, H7161 which I had seen H7200 (QalPerf) standing H5975 (QalActPtc) before H6440 the river, H180 and ran H7323 (QalImpf) unto him in the fury H2534 of his power. H3581

και ηλθεν εως του κριου του τα κερατα εχοντος ου ειδον εστωτος ενωπιον του ουβαλ και εδραμεν προς αυτον εν ορμη της ισχυος αυτου

I saw him come close to the ram, and he was moved with anger against him, and struck the ram, and broke his two horns. There was no power in the ram to stand before him; but he cast him down to the ground and trampled on him. There was no one who could deliver the ram out of his hand.

When I, even I Daniel, had seen the vision, I sought to understand it. Then behold, there stood before me someone with the appearance of a man.

And it came to pass, when I, even I Daniel, H1840 had seen H7200 (QalInf) the vision, H2377 and sought H1245 (PielImpf) for the meaning, H998 then, behold, there stood H5975 (QalActPtc) before me as the appearance H4758 of a man. H1397

και εγενετο εν τω ιδειν με εγω δανιηλ την ορασιν και εζητουν συνεσιν και ιδου εστη ενωπιον εμου ως ορασις ανδρος

So he came near where I stood; and when he came, I was frightened, and fell on my face; but he said to me, “Understand, son of man, for the vision belongs to the time of the end.”

Now as he was speaking with me, I fell into a deep sleep with my face toward the ground; but he touched me and set me upright.

Daniel 8:18 Heb. made me stand upon my standing

και εν τω λαλειν αυτον μετ εμου πιπτω επι προσωπον μου επι την γην και ηψατο μου και εστησεν με επι ποδας

As for that which was broken, in the place where four stood up, four kingdoms will stand up out of the nation, but not with his power.

και του συντριβεντος ου εστησαν τεσσαρα υποκατω κερατα τεσσαρες βασιλεις εκ του εθνους αυτου αναστησονται και ουκ εν τη ισχυι αυτου

“In the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors have come to the full, a king of fierce face, and understanding riddles, will stand up.
