“Therefore the Lord Yahweh says: ‘Now I will reverse the captivity of Jacob and have mercy on the whole house of Israel. I will be jealous for my holy name.

He measured its length, twenty cubits, and the width, twenty cubits, before the nave. He said to me, “This is the most holy place.”

He measured it on the four sides. It had a wall around it, the length five hundred cubits, and the width five hundred cubits, to make a separation between that which was holy and that which was common.

και ειπεν προς με εωρακας υιε ανθρωπου τον τοπον του θρονου μου και τον τοπον του ιχνους των ποδων μου εν οις κατασκηνωσει το ονομα μου εν μεσω οικου ισραηλ τον αιωνα και ου βεβηλωσουσιν ουκετι οικος ισραηλ το ονομα το αγιον μου αυτοι και οι ηγουμενοι αυτων εν τη πορνεια αυτων και εν τοις φονοις των ηγουμενων εν μεσω αυτων

in their setting of their threshold by my threshold and their door post beside my door post. There was a wall between me and them; and they have defiled my holy name by their abominations which they have committed. Therefore I have consumed them in my anger.

εν τω τιθεναι αυτους το προθυρον μου εν τοις προθυροις αυτων και τας φλιας μου εχομενας των φλιων αυτων και εδωκαν τον τοιχον μου ως συνεχομενον εμου και αυτων και εβεβηλωσαν το ονομα το αγιον μου εν ταις ανομιαις αυτων αις εποιουν και εξετριψα αυτους εν θυμω μου και εν φονω

“This is the law of the house. On the top of the mountain the whole limit around it shall be most holy. Behold, this is the law of the house.

This [is] the law H8451 of the house; H1004 Upon the top H7218 of the mountain H2022 the whole limit H1366 thereof round about H5439 [shall be] most H6944 holy. H6944 Behold, this [is] the law H8451 of the house. H1004

και την διαγραφην του οικου επι της κορυφης του ορους παντα τα ορια αυτου κυκλοθεν αγια αγιων

You have not performed the duty of my holy things; but you have set performers of my duty in my sanctuary for yourselves.”

And ye have not kept H8104 (QalPerf) the charge H4931 of mine holy things: H6944 but ye have set H7760 (QalImpf) keepers H8104 (QalActPtc) of my charge H4931 in my sanctuary H4720 for yourselves.

και διεταξατε του φυλασσειν φυλακας εν τοις αγιοις μου

They shall not come near to me, to execute the office of priest to me, nor to come near to any of my holy things, to the things that are most holy; but they will bear their shame and their abominations which they have committed.

And they shall not come near H5066 (QalImpf) unto me, to do the office of a priest H3547 (PielInf) unto me, nor to come near H5066 (QalInf) to any of my holy things, H6944 in the most holy H6944 [place]: but they shall bear H5375 (QalPerf) their shame, H3639 and their abominations H8441 which they have committed. και ουκ εγγιουσι προς με του ιερατευειν μοι ουδε του προσαγειν προς τα αγια υιων του ισραηλ ουδε προς τα αγια των αγιων μου και λημψονται ατιμιαν αυτων εν τη πλανησει η επλανηθησαν

When they go out into the outer court, even into the outer court to the people, they shall put off their garments in which they minister and lay them in the holy rooms. They shall put on other garments, that they not sanctify the people with their garments.

και εν τω εκπορευεσθαι αυτους εις την αυλην την εξωτεραν προς τον λαον εκδυσονται τας στολας αυτων εν αις αυτοι λειτουργουσιν εν αυταις και θησουσιν αυτας εν ταις εξεδραις των αγιων και ενδυσονται στολας ετερας και ου μη αγιασωσιν τον λαον εν ταις στολαις αυτων

They shall teach my people the difference between the holy and the common, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean.

And they shall teach H3384 (HiphImpf) my people H5971 [the difference] between the holy H6944 and profane, H2455 and cause them to discern H3045 (HiphImpf) between the unclean H2931 and the clean. H2889

και τον λαον μου διδαξουσιν ανα μεσον αγιου και βεβηλου και ανα μεσον ακαθαρτου και καθαρου γνωριουσιν αυτοις

In the day that he goes into the sanctuary, into the inner court, to minister in the sanctuary, he shall offer his sin offering,” says the Lord Yahweh.

And in the day H3117 that he goeth H935 (QalInf) into the sanctuary, H6944 unto the inner H6442 court, H2691 to minister H8334 (PielInf) in the sanctuary, H6944 he shall offer H7126 (HiphImpf) his sin offering, H2403 saith H5002 (QalPasPtc) the Lord H136 God. H3069

και η αν ημερα εισπορευωνται εις την αυλην την εσωτεραν του λειτουργειν εν τω αγιω προσοισουσιν ιλασμον λεγει κυριος ο θεος

“ ‘ “Moreover, when you divide by lot the land for inheritance, you shall offer an offering to Yahweh, a holy portion of the land. The length shall be the length of twenty-five thousand reeds, and the width shall be ten thousand. It shall be holy in all its border all around.

και εν τω καταμετρεισθαι υμας την γην εν κληρονομια αφοριειτε απαρχην τω κυριω αγιον απο της γης πεντε και εικοσι χιλιαδας μηκος και ευρος εικοσι χιλιαδας αγιον εσται εν πασι τοις οριοις αυτου κυκλοθεν

Of this there shall be a five hundred by five hundred square for the holy place, and fifty cubits° for its pasture lands all around.

Ezekiel 45:2 A cubit is the length from the tip of the middle finger to the elbow on a man’s arm, or about 18 inches or 46 centimeters.

Of this there shall be for the sanctuary H6944 five H2568 hundred H3967 [in length], with five H2568 hundred H3967 [in breadth], square H7251 (PualPtc) round about; H5439 and fifty H2572 cubits H520 round about H5439 for the suburbs H4054 thereof.

και εσται εκ τουτου εις αγιασμα πεντακοσιοι επι πεντακοσιους τετραγωνον κυκλοθεν και πηχεις πεντηκοντα διαστημα αυτω κυκλοθεν

Of this measure you shall measure a length of twenty-five thousand, and a width of ten thousand. In it shall be the sanctuary, which is most holy.

And of this measure H4060 shalt thou measure H4058 (QalImpf) the length H753 of five H2568 and twenty H6242 thousand, H505 and the breadth H7341 of ten H6235 thousand: H505 and in it shall be the sanctuary H4720 [and] the most H6944 holy H6944 [place].

και εκ ταυτης της διαμετρησεως διαμετρησεις μηκος πεντε και εικοσι χιλιαδας και ευρος δεκα χιλιαδας και εν αυτη εσται το αγιασμα αγια των αγιων

It is a holy portion of the land; it shall be for the priests, the ministers of the sanctuary, who come near to minister to Yahweh. It shall be a place for their houses and a holy place for the sanctuary.

The holy H6944 [portion] of the land H776 shall be for the priests H3548 the ministers H8334 (PielPtc) of the sanctuary, H4720 which shall come near H7131 to minister H8334 (PielInf) unto the Lord: H3068 and it shall be a place H4725 for their houses, H1004 and an holy place H4720 for the sanctuary. απο της γης εσται τοις ιερευσιν τοις λειτουργουσιν εν τω αγιω και εσται τοις εγγιζουσι λειτουργειν τω κυριω και εσται αυτοις τοπος εις οικους αφωρισμενους τω αγιασμω αυτων

“ ‘ “You shall appoint the possession of the city five thousand cubits wide and twenty-five thousand long, side by side with the offering of the holy portion. It shall be for the whole house of Israel.

And ye shall appoint H5414 (QalImpf) the possession H272 of the city H5892 five H2568 thousand H505 broad, H7341 and five H2568 and twenty H6242 thousand H505 long, H753 over against H5980 the oblation H8641 of the holy H6944 [portion]: it shall be for the whole house H1004 of Israel. H3478

και την κατασχεσιν της πολεως δωσεις πεντε χιλιαδας ευρος και μηκος πεντε και εικοσι χιλιαδας ον τροπον η απαρχη των αγιων παντι οικω ισραηλ εσονται

“ ‘ “What is for the prince shall be on the one side and on the other side of the holy allotment and of the possession of the city, in front of the holy allotment and in front of the possession of the city, on the west side westward, and on the east side eastward, and in length corresponding to one of the portions, from the west border to the east border.

And a [portion shall be] for the prince H5387 on the one side and on the other side of the oblation H8641 of the holy H6944 [portion], and of the possession H272 of the city, H5892 before H6440 the oblation H8641 of the holy H6944 [portion], and before H6440 the possession H272 of the city, H5892 from the west H3220 side H6285 westward, H3220 and from the east H6924 side H6285 eastward: H6921 and the length H753 [shall be] over against H5980 one H259 of the portions, H2506 from the west H3220 border H1366 unto the east H6921 border. και τω ηγουμενω εκ τουτου και απο τουτου εις τας απαρχας των αγιων εις κατασχεσιν της πολεως κατα προσωπον των απαρχων των αγιων και κατα προσωπον της κατασχεσεως της πολεως τα προς θαλασσαν και απο των προς θαλασσαν προς ανατολας και το μηκος ως μια των μεριδων απο των οριων των προς θαλασσαν και το μηκος επι τα ορια τα προς ανατολας της γης

Then he brought me through the entry, which was at the side of the gate, into the holy rooms for the priests, which looked toward the north. Behold, there was a place on the back part westward.

After he brought H935 (HiphImpf) me through the entry, H3996 which [was] at the side H3802 of the gate, H8179 into the holy H6944 chambers H3957 of the priests, H3548 which looked H6437 (QalActPtc) toward the north: H6828 and, behold, there [was] a place H4725 on the two sides H3411 westward. και εισηγαγεν με εις την εισοδον της κατα νωτου της πυλης εις την εξεδραν των αγιων των ιερεων την βλεπουσαν προς βορραν και ιδου τοπος εκει κεχωρισμενος

For these, even for the priests, shall be the holy offering: toward the north twenty-five thousand in length, and toward the west ten thousand in width, and toward the east ten thousand in width, and toward the south twenty-five thousand in length; and the sanctuary of Yahweh shall be in the middle of it.

And for them, [even] for the priests, H3548 shall be [this] holy H6944 oblation; H8641 toward the north H6828 five H2568 and twenty H6242 thousand H505 [in length], and toward the west H3220 ten H6235 thousand H505 in breadth, H7341 and toward the east H6921 ten H6235 thousand H505 in breadth, H7341 and toward the south H5045 five H2568 and twenty H6242 thousand H505 in length: H753 and the sanctuary H4720 of the Lord H3068 shall be in the midst H8432 thereof.

τουτων εσται η απαρχη των αγιων τοις ιερευσιν προς βορραν πεντε και εικοσι χιλιαδες και προς θαλασσαν πλατος δεκα χιλιαδες και προς ανατολας πλατος δεκα χιλιαδες και προς νοτον μηκος εικοσι και πεντε χιλιαδες και το ορος των αγιων εσται εν μεσω αυτου

It shall be to them an offering from the offering of the land, a most holy thing, by the border of the Levites.

And [this] oblation H8642 of the land H776 that is offered H8641 shall be unto them a thing most H6944 holy H6944 by the border H1366 of the Levites. H3881
