Psalm 7 (WEBP)
[1] Yahweh, my God, I take refuge in you. Save me from all those who pursue me, and deliver me,
[2] lest they tear apart my soul like a lion, ripping it in pieces, while there is no one to deliver.
[3] Yahweh, my God, if I have done this, if there is iniquity in my hands,
[4] if I have rewarded evil to him who was at peace with me (yes, I have delivered him who without cause was my adversary),
[5] let the enemy pursue my soul, and overtake it; yes, let him tread my life down to the earth, and lay my glory in the dust. Selah.
[6] Arise, Yahweh, in your anger. Lift up yourself against the rage of my adversaries. Awake for me. You have commanded judgment.
[7] Let the congregation of the peoples surround you. Rule over them on high.
[8] Yahweh administers judgment to the peoples. Judge me, Yahweh, according to my righteousness, and to my integrity that is in me.
[9] Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end, but establish the righteous; their minds and hearts are searched by the righteous God.
[10] My shield is with God, who saves the upright in heart.
[11] God is a righteous judge, yes, a God who has indignation every day.
[12] If a man doesn’t repent, he will sharpen his sword; he has bent and strung his bow.
[13] He has also prepared for himself the instruments of death. He makes ready his flaming arrows.
[14] Behold,§ he travails with iniquity. Yes, he has conceived mischief, and brought out falsehood.
[15] He has dug a hole, and has fallen into the pit which he made.
[16] The trouble he causes shall return to his own head. His violence shall come down on the crown of his own head.
[17] I will give thanks to Yahweh according to his righteousness, and will sing praise to the name of Yahweh Most High.
Psalm 7:14 “Behold”, from “הִנֵּה”, means look at, take notice, observe, see, or gaze at. It is often used as an interjection.

Psalm 7 (KJVS)
[1] «Shiggaion H7692 of David H1732, which he sang H7891 (8804) unto the LORD H3068, concerning the words H1697 of Cush H3568 the Benjamite H1121 H1145.» O LORD H3068 my God H430, in thee do I put my trust H2620 (8804): save H3467 (8685) me from all them that persecute H7291 (8802) me, and deliver H5337 (8685) me:
[2] Lest he tear H2963 (8799) my soul H5315 like a lion H738, rending [it] in pieces H6561 (8802), while [there is] none to deliver H5337 (8688).
[3] O LORD H3068 my God H430, if I have done H6213 (8804) this; if there be H3426 iniquity H5766 in my hands H3709;
[4] If I have rewarded H1580 (8804) evil H7451 unto him that was at peace H7999 (8802) with me; (yea, I have delivered H2502 (8762) him that without cause H7387 is mine enemy H6887 (8802):)
[5] Let the enemy H341 (8802) persecute H7291 (8762) my soul H5315, and take H5381 (8686) [it]; yea, let him tread down H7429 (8799) my life H2416 upon the earth H776, and lay H7931 (8686) mine honour H3519 in the dust H6083. Selah H5542.
[6] Arise H6965 (8798), O LORD H3068, in thine anger H639, lift up H5375 (8734) thyself because of the rage H5678 of mine enemies H6887 (8802): and awake H5782 (8798) for me [to] the judgment H4941 [that] thou hast commanded H6680 (8765).
[7] So shall the congregation H5712 of the people H3816 compass thee about H5437 (8779): for their sakes therefore return H7725 (8798) thou on high H4791.
[8] The LORD H3068 shall judge H1777 (8799) the people H5971: judge H8199 (8798) me, O LORD H3068, according to my righteousness H6664, and according to mine integrity H8537 [that is] in me.
[9] Oh let the wickedness H7451 of the wicked H7563 come to an end H1584 (8799); but establish H3559 (8787) the just H6662: for the righteous H6662 God H430 trieth H974 (8802) the hearts H3826 and reins H3629.
[10] My defence H4043 [is] of God H430, which saveth H3467 (8688) the upright H3477 in heart H3820.
[11] God H430 judgeth H8199 (8802) the righteous H6662, and God H410 is angry H2194 (8802) [with the wicked] every day H3117.
[12] If he turn H7725 (8799) not, he will whet H3913 (8799) his sword H2719; he hath bent H1869 (8804) his bow H7198, and made it ready H3559 (8787).
[13] He hath also prepared H3559 (8689) for him the instruments H3627 of death H4194; he ordaineth H6466 (8799) his arrows H2671 against the persecutors H1814 (8801).
[14] Behold, he travaileth H2254 (8762) with iniquity H205, and hath conceived H2029 (8804) mischief H5999, and brought forth H3205 (8804) falsehood H8267.
[15] He made H3738 (8804) a pit H953, and digged H2658 (8799) it, and is fallen H5307 (8799) into the ditch H7845 [which] he made H6466 (8799).
[16] His mischief H5999 shall return H7725 (8799) upon his own head H7218, and his violent H2555 dealing shall come down H3381 (8799) upon his own pate H6936.
[17] I will praise H3034 (8686) the LORD H3068 according to his righteousness H6664: and will sing praise H2167 (8762) to the name H8034 of the LORD H3068 most high H5945.
Young’s Literal Translation
Psalm 7 (YLT)
[1] O Jehovah, my God, in Thee I have trusted, Save me from all my pursuers, and deliver me.
[2] Lest he tear as a lion my soul, Rending, and there is no deliverer.
[3] O Jehovah, my God, if I have done this, If there is iniquity in my hands,
[4] If I have done my well-wisher evil, And draw mine adversary without cause,
[5] An enemy pursueth my soul, and overtaketh, And treadeth down to the earth my life, And my honour placeth in the dust. Selah.
[6] Rise, O Jehovah, in Thine anger, Be lifted up at the wrath of mine adversaries, And awake Thou for me: Judgment Thou hast commanded:
[7] And a company of peoples compass Thee, And over it on high turn Thou back,
[8] Jehovah doth judge the peoples; Judge me, O Jehovah, According to my righteousness, And according to mine integrity on me,
[9] Let, I pray Thee be ended the evil of the wicked, And establish Thou the righteous, And a trier of hearts and reins is the righteous God.
[10] My shield is on God, Saviour of the upright in heart!
[11] God is a righteous judge, And He is not angry at all times.
[12] If one turn not, His sword he sharpeneth, His bow he hath trodden-He prepareth it,
[13] Yea, for him He hath prepared Instruments of death, His arrows for burning pursuers He maketh.
[14] Lo, he travaileth with iniquity, And he hath conceived perverseness, And hath brought forth falsehood.
[15] A pit he hath prepared, and he diggeth it, And he falleth into a ditch he maketh.
[16] Return doth his perverseness on his head, And on his crown his violence cometh down.
[17] I thank Jehovah, According to His righteousness, And praise the name of Jehovah Most High!
