Psalm 17 (WEBP)

[1] Hear, Yahweh, my righteous plea. Give ear to my prayer that doesn’t go out of deceitful lips.
[2] Let my sentence come out of your presence. Let your eyes look on equity.
[3] You have proved my heart. You have visited me in the night. You have tried me, and found nothing. I have resolved that my mouth shall not disobey.
[4] As for the deeds of men, by the word of your lips, I have kept myself from the ways of the violent.
[5] My steps have held fast to your paths. My feet have not slipped.
[6] I have called on you, for you will answer me, God. Turn your ear to me. Hear my speech.
[7] Show your marvelous loving kindness, you who save those who take refuge by your right hand from their enemies.
[8] Keep me as the apple of your eye. Hide me under the shadow of your wings,
[9] from the wicked who oppress me, my deadly enemies, who surround me.
[10] They close up their callous hearts. With their mouth they speak proudly.
[11] They have now surrounded us in our steps. They set their eyes to cast us down to the earth.
[12] He is like a lion that is greedy of his prey, as it were a young lion lurking in secret places.
[13] Arise, Yahweh, confront him. Cast him down. Deliver my soul from the wicked by your sword,
[14] from men by your hand, Yahweh, from men of the world, whose portion is in this life. You fill the belly of your cherished ones. Your sons have plenty, and they store up wealth for their children.
[15] As for me, I shall see your face in righteousness. I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with seeing your form.

Psalm 17 (KJVS)

[1] «A Prayer H8605 of David H1732.» Hear H8085 (8798) the right H6664, O LORD H3068, attend H7181 (8685) unto my cry H7440, give ear H238 (8685) unto my prayer H8605, [that goeth] not H3808 out of feigned H4820 lips H8193.
[2] Let my sentence H4941 come forth H3318 (8799) from thy presence H6440; let thine eyes H5869 behold H2372 (8799) the things that are equal H4339.
[3] Thou hast proved H974 (8804) mine heart H3820; thou hast visited H6485 (8804) [me] in the night H3915; thou hast tried H6884 (8804) me, [and] shalt find H4672 (8799) nothing; I am purposed H2161 (8800) [that] my mouth H6310 shall not transgress H5674 (8799).
[4] Concerning the works H6468 of men H120, by the word H1697 of thy lips H8193 I have kept H8104 (8804) [me from] the paths H734 of the destroyer H6530.
[5] Hold up H8551 (8800) my goings H838 in thy paths H4570, [that] my footsteps H6471 slip H4131 (8738) not.
[6] I have called H7121 (8804) upon thee, for thou wilt hear H6030 (8799) me, O God H410: incline H5186 (8685) thine ear H241 unto me, [and hear H8085 (8798)] my speech H565.
[7] Shew thy marvellous H6395 (8685) lovingkindness H2617, O thou that savest H3467 (8688) by thy right hand H3225 them which put their trust H2620 (8802) [in thee] from those that rise up H6965 (8693) [against them].
[8] Keep H8104 (8798) me as the apple H380 of the eye H1323 H5869, hide H5641 (8686) me under the shadow H6738 of thy wings H3671,
[9] From H6440 the wicked H7563 that H2098 oppress H7703 (8804) me, [from] my deadly H5315 enemies H341 (8802), [who] compass me about H5362 (8686).
[10] They are inclosed H5462 (8804) in their own fat H2459: with their mouth H6310 they speak H1696 (8765) proudly H1348.
[11] They have now compassed H5437 (8804) us in our steps H838: they have set H7896 (8799) their eyes H5869 bowing down H5186 (8800) to the earth H776;
[12] Like H1825 as a lion H738 [that] is greedy H3700 (8799) of his prey H2963 (8800), and as it were a young lion H3715 lurking H3427 (8802) in secret places H4565.
[13] Arise H6965 (8798), O LORD H3068, disappoint H6923 (8761) him H6440, cast him down H3766 (8685): deliver H6403 (8761) my soul H5315 from the wicked H7563, [which is] thy sword H2719:
[14] From men H4962 [which are] thy hand H3027, O LORD H3068, from men H4962 of the world H2465, [which have] their portion H2506 in [this] life H2416, and whose belly H990 thou fillest H4390 (8762) with thy hid H6840 [treasure]: they are full H7646 (8799) of children H1121, and leave H3240 (8689) the rest H3499 of their [substance] to their babes H5768.
[15] As for me, I will behold H2372 (8799) thy face H6440 in righteousness H6664: I shall be satisfied H7646 (8799), when I awake H6974 (8687), with thy likeness H8544.

Young’s Literal Translation

Psalm 17 (YLT)

[1] Hear, O Jehovah, righteousness, attend my cry, Give ear to my prayer, without lips of deceit.
[2] From before thee my judgment doth go out; Thine eyes do see uprightly.
[3] Thou hast proved my heart, Thou hast inspected by night, Thou hast tried me, Thou findest nothing; My thoughts pass not over my mouth.
[4] As to doings of man, Through a word of Thy lips I have observed The paths of a destroyer;
[5] To uphold my goings in Thy paths, My steps have not slidden.
[6] I-I called Thee, for Thou dost answer me, O God, incline Thine ear to me, hear my speech.
[7] Separate wonderfully Thy kindness, O Saviour of the confiding, By Thy right hand, from withstanders.
[8] Keep me as the apple, the daughter of the eye; In shadow of Thy wings thou dost hide me.
[9] From the face of the wicked who spoiled me. Mine enemies in soul go round against me.
[10] Their fat they have closed up, Their mouths have spoken with pride:
[11] ‘Our steps now have compassed him;’ Their eyes they set to turn aside in the land.
[12] His likeness as a lion desirous to tear, As a young lion dwelling in secret places.
[13] Arise, O Jehovah, go before his face, Cause him to bend. Deliver my soul from the wicked, Thy sword,
[14] From men, Thy hand, O Jehovah, From men of the world, their portion is in life, And with Thy hidden things Thou fillest their belly, They are satisfied with sons; And have left their abundance to their sucklings.
[15] I-in righteousness, I see Thy face; I am satisfied, in awaking, with Thy form!
